Fantastic experience: I started my G2 driving lessons with DTSM end of October 2024. My driving instructor was Sharif. He was absolutely amazing from the first class. He patiently trained me, considering the fact I have never driven before and had intense road fear. Sharif gave thorough and routine practice on the roads and helped me with lot of techniques to do different kinds of parking, lane changes, left and right turns etc. I passed my G2 road test in the first attempt. I would highly recommend DTSM and Sharif if you are looking for G2 lessons.

I was pretty nervous when first starting because it was my first time but he made me feel comfortable after our first lesson. Will always correct you and explain things clearly. Also works around your schedule and communicates with you.

Fantastic experience: i learned many things that will be helpful on my test. My driving instructor Ashish was very patient and calm throughout all of our sessions. If you get Ashish as an instructor he will be ready to correct your mistakes and help you do better. Ashish also is open to working around your schedule and changing certain sessions if needed when he has the chance.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my instructor, Ashish. At first, I was really nervous about driving on the road but after the first lesson, I felt a lot more confident driving! By the last lesson, I felt much more comfortable driving.

Negative experience: So much for a driving instructor. One of them cut a random guy off and then slammed breaks in front them! Don't trust your kids with these people!

Fantastic experience: To begin, the structure of the course (20 hours of lesson and 10 hours of homework) were very easy to follow and stay connected throughout the whole process. As for the 10 hours in car, I had Gamel as my instructor and he was amazing. He was very helpful when it came to any questions I had and allowed a great environment to feel comfortable and welcome. Negative experience: Very much disappointed in my instructor, and the car I was learning in. I didn't feel I learned driving well enough with the instructor I had. He wasn't very professional. He'd play the radio, sing loudly, he would be talking on his phone or texting during the lesson and he'd never have shoes on. He'd try to teach me by saying "line your shoulder up with 'this'" I didn't know what "this" was and ask him and he'd just point in the general direction. He'd tell me to turn a certain direction when it was too late to turn, or he'd raise his voice if I didn't turn while oncoming traffic had the rightaway. His car smelt and was normally dirty. His change oil light was on the entire few months I had lessons, and my two final lessons had the check engine light on, and I noticed that the car had a hard time getting up to speed and was chugging along. I told him I didn't know how to park and that's what I needed the most practice on, and he tried teaching me that for only 15 minutes out of the 5+ hours I was scheduled for. And I still don't know how to park. Then at the end he tried selling me more hours. Just very disappointed and definitely didn't get my money's worth whatsoever

Fantastic experience: My instructor Tibor was great. He was patient with my inexperience and constantly checked is to make sure I was comfortable. He was also very easy to talk to.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my instructor Danny, 10/10. Danny was always very patient with my ability to pick up new skills. His ways of teaching parking were so great and memorable that now I can parallel park with no problems easily on the first attempt (something I didn't think would be possible!). Danny was always very kind and calm when dealing with me, and I never felt under pressure when behind the wheel. My experience was fantastic overall with each lesson. I highly recommend Danny to anyone looking to pass their G2 test first try with flying colours because he will get you to that confidence stage.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with my driving instructor Tibor!!!!! HES THE BEST EVERRRR!! So nice and a great teacher. He made me become confident in my driving and I was never nervous around him, he is very reassuring! I hope everyone gets a chance to have him he's amazing!!!

Negative experience: My daughter is enrolled in this school via the school board. The very first time my daughter drives with the instructor he yells at her telling her " you should already know this stuff". Umm is this not the point of going to driving school to learn??? Next thing i know i am getting calls that the instructor is making fun of her to other students. Really? bullying the students? What is wrong with this world. Your teachers need a lesson in teaching. Reporting to BBB

Positive experience: I have chosen Marwan as my instructor because I've relied on the reviews but I was totally wrong. My first day with him was terrible, Marwan didn't even taught me anything even in correctly adjusting the car mirrors on my first day. It was my first time to drive, totally no experience at all. This instructor just asked me to drive right away without any guidance, since it was my first time on the wheels, I was driving slowly. Then he kept yelling at me each time I drop my speed to 20. I was traumatized on my first day because he's been yelling me for an hour. What a nice way to treat beginners! Thank God I was able to switch to a new instructor on my second lesson, Adlyn did a great job. He was truly a teacher indeed! For new students, try as much as possible to avoid Marwan and request for Adlyn instead. Best instructor ever!

Fantastic experience: Dtsm is a great place for you to do your drivers. The class instructor tried to make the classes more fun. All the people are very nice and respectable. As for the in car lessons I love the instructor he's very nice and sharp. His name is Moe and he is a great in car instructor, I highly recommend this place for people who want to do your drivers ed in Barrhaven

Positive experience: I completed my driving course from August 2015 - February 2016. For the in class portion of the course, I was disappointed since the classroom was super outdated with no windows, freezing cold in the middle of the summer, and only had an old school projector. As well, all course materials were outdated and distorted from being photocopied too many times. I expected a little bit better, considering the course costed $700. However, I liked the instructor Andrew for making the class funny and a little bit less boring. For the in car lessons, the instructor I originally had was no help to me, so I ended up requesting to switch. My instructor for the remaining lessons, Moe was very helpful and gave me a lot of useful tips that helped me pass my test.

Negative experience: Recently discovered that DTSM office staff (named Lisa-she left a vm letting me know she "went ahead" and booked me a test) booked me my test without my consent. If this is how DTSM runs its business, I won't be recommending anyone to go here.

Positive experience: good place to learn to drive
