Negative experience: This morning BB West Driving School was parked in front of my house partially blocking my driveway. This has happened on several occasions but today I managed to converse with the BB West Driving School owner Eric. I politely asked him to please not block my driveway but his response was “I will do whatever I please”. When I politely pointed out to him that it was both illegal and unsafe to park there, Eric responded with “Go get a life”. I understand that he needs to train his students but there is no room in between my house and my neighbours and therefore parking and practicing in front of our house is both illegal and unsafe and it seems that BB West Driving School owner Eric does not care. I certainly will never use this driving school when the owner has such a bad attitude and disrespects the law and disregards safety!!! Answer to BB West Driving School response: You are disobeying the law and all the true facts and evidence of this incident have been handed over to ICBC's Driver Training Investigations and Compliance.

Hi Keith, I do not appreciate the dishonesty this review brings forward. I asked my student to practice the pull over maneuver and as they needed to get the hang of it, and at one point we stopped before the driveway to your house. The key word here being 'before'! My student managed to stop perfectly in-between the two driveways, about 6 inches away from yours. We did not block your driveway in any way, and also stayed clear of the driveway behind us. I have the dash-cam footage of it all, but I noticed you had also been photographing us the entire time, so I encourage you to share those photos. You, being a former driving instructor and driving school owner should know that the street you live on is not your property, and neither is a parking spot on the street in between two driveways. Anyone can park there, as long as there is no sign prohibiting parking at any time of a day. This a street that is currently being used by almost all the driving schools in the area and ICBC road tests are conducted in the same place. That is something you can do nothing about because it is city property. As for the words we exchanged, we must have a different view of what a polite conversation is and what isn't. You charged at us, 4 times during about a 4 minute stop, being angry from the get go, and you ordered us to leave immediately. That is why I responded to you the way I did. "I will continue my lesson when I am done talking to my student", however I did not use words you wrote, so I ask you once more to stop lying please. There is never a need to attempt to scare me and my students, and I will continue to defend that, the same way my 27 years of good customer service will defend itself.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Eric for all your road test needs! He is kind, supportive and make you feel so safe and comfortable during his lessons. I had booked a lesson with him only one day before my Class 5 road test and passed with flying colours! His tips, tricks and knowledge are unmatched. Thank you Eric, I could not have done it without your guidance!

Fantastic experience: Eric flawlessly demonstrates what an exceptional driving instructor should be. Not only does he teach you every single aspect of driving a vehicle in a safe manner, he instills the knowledge and confidence needed to apply to everyday driving. I passed on my first attempt and 99% of that credit is owed to BBWest. I cannot recommend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Eric helped my son take a one hour refresher course in Port Coquitlam right before his class 5 road exam. Thanks to Eric’s professionalism and attention to detail, my son passed and got his license. Eric is an amazing instructor and made my son feel very confident on the road with many tips to bring with him to the exam. We can’t thank you enough!!

Fantastic experience: Eric is great, I was directed towards him from a co-worker in the hospital that I work in as he had taught that persons kids how to drive..I had invested money in another school( well know one and not so great) and when I got teachings from Eric they were ten fold better.. I cant wait until Eric and I have a celebratory beer after all is said and done!
