Fantastic experience: Hands down the best teacher if you want to learn how to drive and get your license. It took me 15 years to get the courage and confidence to drive, Stephen helped me though. He is also funny, great teacher and a just person to talk to but more importantly learn from. He is good with people who has anxiety, he stays calm with you and works with you. I was good enough to pass on my first try with him, if your looking for a experienced driving instructor, Inclusive Driving School is the way to go! Thank you, Stephen for everything!

Fantastic experience: Stephen is probably the best driving instructor in the area. Driving with him is always a learning experience, as he doesn’t overlook any detail. I benefited immensely from Stephen’s careful and precise guidance and feel confident about driving now. He brings humor and patience to teaching and is very professional. I passed the driving test first try with only 4 pts lost, which I attribute to Stephen’s instruction. The 25-hour classroom instruction was also extremely beneficial. Thank you, Stephen!

Fantastic experience: Stephen is an excellent, experienced, and professional instructor with a great -and respectful!- sense of humor. As an adult learner I was very nervous when I got into the driver's seat for the very first time. Stephen helped me overcome my nervousness and taught me how to drive in downtown Halifax! Stephen will teach you how to drive defensively and how to avoid collisions or any other dangerous situations in traffic. I moved away which is why I could not complete my program with him but Stephen prepared me very well for the road and my road test. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test on my first attempt. I would give the credit to Steve for his excellent skills in training naive drivers like me. This driving license means a lot to me personally. All my life I thought driving is not for me and I kept it aside. I'm 35+, I decided to pursue driving with no experience or knowledge of driving whatsoever. Stephen was so patient, encouraging and understanding at all times. He was very skillful to handle worst mistakes and yet not to startle the training driver. I started with almost zero confidence level, I could say as classes progressed, I not only learned new skills but Steve's approach helped me boost my confidence. Fantastic experience: Taking a road test more than 35 years after the first one, is highly stressful. With Stephen’s excellent guidance and instruction I was able to pass the road test comfortably. Stephen gave me the confidence I needed and also significantly improved my driving skills. My only regret is that I did not have Stephen as my driving instructor 40 years ago when I was learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: Taught both my sons from scratch (ages 17 and 19). They both took the full course with classroom time and driving lessons and they went from getting behind the wheel to obtaining their licences without any issues. They both felt this instructor was calm and experienced. My youngest had to attempt the road test twice before succeeding, however, there was not much more practice in between so he believes he had a particularly picky examiner the first time around. Mr. Pitman escorted both of them to the testing and he was present to get the feedback after my youngest's first failed attempt. I believe Mr. Pitman's subsequent follow up tips for my son helped him succeed when he went back the second time.

Fantastic experience: Steve Pitman is the best driving instructor in Halifax. I have always had anxiety about driving but i took his course and road test package and passed my driving test on the first go around. Perfect for anyone who needs help learning to drive. He is also great with older students like me who missed the boat back when we were 16. Great value and hands on driving experience.

Fantastic experience: This driving school gave me a very in-depth understanding of safe driving and also how to recover from situation you don’t want to find yourself in. The teacher/instructor is a very nice and easy to talk to. He is very understanding about rescheduling and also got my test moved up a month.

Fantastic experience: I had recently moved to NS from the UK and hadn't driven a car for around 5 years so was initially apprehensive about driving again as I was unfamiliar with NS driving rules. Stephen is an excellent, calm and well-informed instructor who prepared me well for my driving test in a short period of time (2 months), for which I passed first time. Fantastic experience: I needed to exchange my Argentinian Drivers License here in NS, so I studied the Handbook and passed the Written Test, but the Road Test was different story (knowing the theory and knowing how to drive in Argentina, has nothing to do with the avility to drive here in Halifax, NS). Fantastic experience: tried to teach my own kid ......it went relatively well....but he was having trouble passing the road test. it seemed as there was always some rule that came up and I did not teach it correctly. The driving instructor at this school was very educated and made my son feel very confident and calm. He passed with no faults on his first ATTEMPT!
