Fantastic experience: I was in Victoria for holidays and I discovered by chance this wonderful Driving School and I had the best driving experience ever. Andre was a fantastic Instructor, very knowledgable and attentive to details. He uses Engeneering and scientific explanations to make things clear and memorable to me, I can say I've learned from him some technincs that will stay with me for my whole life. Fantastic experience: I am in my eighties, and my driving license was taken away from me. My doctor told me that only one or two percent persons in my condition would qualify for a license. Fortunately I contacted Andre at My Chosen Driving School. He prepared me for Question-Answers and Driving Road Test, and I passed with very high marks. Fantastic experience: I was able to make a lesson appointment with Andre on the last minute. The moment he answered the phone, he sounded professional. When I met him for the actual lesson, I was right. He was thorough, kind and professional. I received the evaluation sheet from him after the lesson, and he made a note for everything in detail that I needed to pay more attention to. There are many driving lesson schools in Victoria. It is not easy to choose one, but It will be the right choice to have lessons with Andre.

Fantastic experience: We hired Andre for his excellent driving instruction services. For our younger daughter, we selected a package of lessons. Andre came to our house to collect our teenager and provided a very thorough and professional session. He discussed everything from rules of the road to anticipating traffic issues. He also provided helpful feedback for her to improve. She passed her road test on the first try so she's very happy. Our older daughter hadn't driven much since getting her license so we arranged for a refresher course for her. Once again he was very patient and efficient. We are very grateful to Andre for his expertise and time and would happily recommend him to potential drivers.

Fantastic experience: Andre was very clear and concise while breaking down step by step maneuvers, phrasing things in a way that was super comprehensive. Within 5 lessons, I was able to get a solid understanding of how to be a safe driver and to follow the rules of the road, and as someone that lives in a very rural area with no street lamps and very obviously different roads, it felt good knowing I didn’t have to come to town to practice, as practice with Andre was more than enough. Not only was it a good learning environment, I was also having fun each step of the way, Andre is clearly very knowledgeable but also has a good light sense of humour to fall back on. I was able to pass my N test on the first try with relative ease, and low stress. Thank you for all your help!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend My Chosen Driving School enough. Their website and scheduling system is super convenient and easy, I never had trouble with availability when I wanted to book an appointment, and Andre is a fantastic teacher and human being! He taught me more in the ten lessons we had than I’d learned in ten years previously with my L. With his knowledge and guidance I was able to feel confident enough to finally take my road test for my N and I passed on my first try! If you’re on the fence about taking driving lessons or choosing this school - DO IT! You will be so glad you did. It’s changed my life for the better.

He is professional and very detailed orientated when it comes to driving manoeuvres, and communicates clearly. He doesn't teach you just for the test, but also to be a safe driver in general. Fantastic experience: Andre is probably one of the most patient and understanding teachers there is. Although I have only had 5 lessons with him, I can tell that he is experienced and extremely professional. I also enjoyed my lessons which weren’t just rigid curriculum but a fun experience. Fantastic experience: Andre is not only the best driving instructor I’ve ever had, but the best TEACHER I’ve ever had up to this point in my life. Try a lesson for yourself and you will see that I am not exaggerating. 1) Philosophy - The school’s philosophy is to teach people how to be a defensive driver and drive safe FOR LIFE, not just to pass a test. Andre takes his student to various environments and not just the ICBC area as some driving schools do. I’ve gotten exposure to highways, downtown, “rural” areas with no controlled intersections, Victoria’s most hazardous intersections, rush hours…etc. This gives me a lot of confidence as a beginner driver when I drive on my own as I have already become familiar with all sorts of circumstances. 2) Dedication - I have monocular vision and cannot see with one eye. Naturally, I am weak in depth perception and peripheral vision. Andre spent 2 hours of his own time driving with an eye patch covering one eye to fully understand my challenges and gave additional guidance catered to my needs. I am very touched by his dedicated and responsible approach to teaching. 3) Well-structured Lessons - All lessons are well structured, and there is a written commentary and checklist provided after every lesson that highlights what the student needs to reflect and improve on which I find extremely helpful as it provides maximum clarity and transparency. 4) Professionalism - I’ve had instructors in the past that were very unprofessional, ask personal questions and spend the lesson being chatty about topics irrelevant to the driving. Andre makes good use of every minute and teaches me everything I need to know to drive safely. He is very calm and patient, and acts like a coach. Everybody makes mistakes as a beginner, and I appreciate that he gives positive encouragement and rational solutions to correct mistakes so that the student is always comfortable, at ease and in the right mindset. Conclusion (TL;DR): I love learning from Andre, and I thoroughly enjoy every lesson because I know every minute is well spent in preparing me to be an excellent driver for life. I am forever grateful for his guidance, understanding and patience. : )
