Negative experience: To the driver coming out of sooke this morning, do you not know that the left hand lane is for passing only not for Traveling in ? Maybe you need to go back to the driving school

Hi Jason, my driving instructors are very aware that there are passing lanes in particular spots along the road in and out of Sooke. aka the Sooke-a-Halla. The instructor informed me of the situation before you commented on social media. The instructor was aware of a backlog of traffic moving on to the road from Gillespie Rd. he moved over to allow their entry. All my instructors are also aware of the speed limit which is the maximum speed in ideal conditions. One would be breaking the law passing another car above the max speed limit.( I know that is not reality.) From your profile I note you use the platform to inform others. Have you thought of becoming a driving instructor? Our goal is to always contribute to a smooth flow of traffic and be safe. If we model good driving it may catch on. Joan
