Fantastic experience: It’s my first time driving and Abbas as instructor helped me get confidence and understand better the road.

Fantastic experience: Abbas is a very good instructor. He gives detailed instructions using ICBC issued handbook. When in doubt, he draws the situation in his white board to make it even clearer to the student. I was very nervous about the test and wanted to cancel or reschedule the test but he convinced me to take the test because he had trust in my skills and knowledge. Because of his teaching, I passed the test the first time. This place is one of the most affordable places to get driving lessons. I would highly recommend any student Wise and Smart driving school, wheather they are complete beginners or just looking to sharpen their knowledge. I am sharing my result in the bottom:

Negative experience: I do not recommend this driving school. While the instructor knows the traffic laws, he lacks both teaching skills and professionalism. He is rude, impatient, and has no empathy for students. Knowing the rules of the road is just the basics—what truly makes a great instructor is the ability to teach with patience and respect, which he completely lacks.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience ever!!! I took 5 lessons and passed my exam after only driving 5 hours. Abbas taught me everything and how to park perfectly on the day of my exam, I made no mistakes on my exam, and couldn’t be happier. Best driving school and best guy to practice with. He was so patient and supportive and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Abbas :))

Negative experience: This was probably the only disappointing interaction I had in 3 years living here in Victoria. I booked a class 5 driving lesson with this person because my car is a stick shift so I didn't want to complicate the test. I wanted to learn how to drive an automatic and, preferably, use the same car for the road test. I told him all this at the beginning of the lesson so we're both on the same page -- and to get the most out of my money. I realized, though, that there was no understanding like that at all, in that, while I was trying to get some advice on how to prepare for my road test, his whole focus was on finding ways to book me up for more lessons. When I asked about my doubts, he said he'd answer them all in our next session. Even the feedback form he sent me after the lesson was blank! My recommendation would be to look elsewhere, or if you're a safe driver who's brushing up on your skills, just book your road test and treat it as a lesson. Even if you fail, you will only spend 50 bucks and get accurate feedback from professionals. In fact, I did exactly that after this lesson and passed on the first try, even with a stick shift.
