Fantastic experience: Mezo is hands-down the best driving instructor I have ever taken classes with. She is knowledgeable and supportive with a clear communication style. Over the years, I had taken driving sessions with other instructors and my fear of driving pushed me to quit every time. I was lucky to find Mezo through reading these reviews. With Mezo, it was a completely different experience. From the first session, she helped me develop my confidence by explaining everything in theory first and then, practicing all those concepts with me on the road. I didn't feel overwhelmed with new information as she taught everything step by step and I could see myself progress with every session. Thanks to her, I passed my G2 test on the first attempt! I cannot recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: I just did my first in car for 2 hours. I know how to drive already but haven't driven in quite some time. Despite suffering with pain, Basil helped me and assured me that everything would be calm and that I could stop at anytime to get out or take a break. Fantastic experience: My instructor was Imtiaz and she was absolutely amazing. She was very patient and easy to understand. She explained everything well before driving and made sure to let me know what I was doing wrong and what I was doing right. We practiced all the required things for my g2 test and I only had 10 hours with her but still passed my g2 test on my first try. She always reminded me to check my blind spots thats why I did very well on my test. I would definitely recommend her if you want someone who explains everything visually and theoretically and helps you get your g2.

Fantastic experience: My trainer was Basil. He did an excellent job. At the beginning I felt he was harsh with me but I soon realized it was for my own good. I had never driven prior to training with him but he taught me so well, all the road rules, signs etc. He was just simply excellent in imparting knowledge. He's also very patient and easy to talk to. I was a bit skeptical to book my test when i was good to go but he encouraged me and said he thinks I'm ready. On the day of my test, I almost canceled at the last minute because I felt I wasn't ready for that day, he encouraged me to continue and just do it. I passed!! I didn't believe myself though I knew I had learnt enough to make me pass the test. Basil is a wonderful trainer and I'll recommend him to everyone. My kids are coming to train with him too. Fantastic experience: My daughter has had her G2 since January this year but has lacked confidence to drive alone and in busy towns. After 3 lessons and 4 hours with Basil she is now confident to drive in downtown Ottawa and on the highway alone. He was able to adapt to her learning style as someone with complex needs (ASD, Anxiety and LD). Well worth checking out!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Five Stars Driving School. I had three G road test preparation sessions with Basil. He’s very professional and explains where you need to focus on your driving skills. On my road test day, I found out that my car’s battery died due to the extreme cold weather. I called Basil only 2hrs before my G road test in case the battery boost didn’t work and I was going to request him for the test day package. Even though it was a very last minute request, he made himself available. Thankfully, my car was good for the test and I passed my G road test! Thank you so much for your teaching and support.

Fantastic experience: I had Mr. Basil as my driving instructor and he was such a patient and helpful instructor. Not only does he believe that the secret behind a good driver is through increasing a driver's confidence but his philosphy with regards to driving also contends that drivers should have fun driving. Basil is a very chill instructor, is very experienced, and definately has a talent for teaching. Basil does not just teach the techniques of driving kinaesthetically but also has a washable board where he first teaches the technique visually by drawing. No doubt, he is a instructor that genuinely wants to see his students succeed in their driving tests and will accomadate your schedule. He will tell you exactly what your issues are after every driving lesson and then will spend a suficient amount of time praciticing them with you in your subsequent driving lesson until you are comfortable with them. Moreover, his method of teaching serves for all learners, visual, kinestatic, auditory etc. I would definately highly reccomend getting lessons from Five Stars.
