Fantastic experience: I took my classes at Omega and passed all exams with flying colors! Amazing staff and amazing instructors! I would 100% recommend it to anyone who wishes to prepare for their licence.

Positive experience: My experience with the school was fine in general, but if you can avoid the theory teacher Pierre-Paul Seguin, please do. He makes innapropriate comments about the students and makes it into a joke pretending that the student can't understand the humour. He often interrupt the student and goes on unnecessary tangents. His tone is often patronizing especially towards women and he often makes stereotypical comments and you can see the student being done with him in classes. But whenever someone calls him out, he gets defensive and ignores the student on the next class. Multiple students have made complaints about him but because of the lack of teachers, he remains at the school. At least be warned if you have to take him as a teacher for the English section.

Fantastic experience: I took about 9 driving classes with omega driving school to refresh before passing my practice test at Longueuil. The staff is very nice and accomodating, and my instructor Sofiane is EXCELLENT, he really helped take my driving skills to the next level and gave me so many good tips for the exam, he is professional, punctual and i recommend him fully! Thanks to this, i was able to pass my practice test from the first try!

Negative experience: Extremely bad service in terms of teaching and providing knowledge, and the customer support is no different. You just can't find anybody in that NDG Office, just close it since there is no one to pick up the phone for any inquiries. We paid the full package of the course for my daughter plus additional one for extra driving classes because the driving practice is not enough in the regular one. She failed the practice exam because she was lacking basic knowledge in a lot of areas that were not covered. I had to find a different competitors company and pay 4 more classes of driving so she could pass the exam, and she did pass the exam. She said that there is a huge difference between the teachers and how they worked with her. The Omega teachers just don't care, they are not helpful at all, and they don't even provide any useful tips for the actual exam. The other place offered much more personalized service, and they actually cared and wanted her to pass! It is just one big waste of money. I wasted mine, please don't waste yours!

Fantastic experience: I finally got my license thanks to this school. Nothing, but respect to the staff. They have been super helpful from the beginning to the end. The teachers and instructors were very nice and helpful throughout the courses. They want you to succeed and they make sure you are actually ready for both the knowledge and road test. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Taking my driving lessons, albeit late, was made easy and a great experience by Omega. I want to especially shout out Jen and Sofiane, who both managed to make me feel comfortable, and more confident in acquiring a new skill. Jen's calmness, sense of humour, and great pointers will definitely stay with me long after my classes are over. Sofiane's chill, relaxed attitude, and great input helped make this experience one where I knew it was alright for me to mess up a bit as long as I listened to his input and corrected. Thank you both so much for everything, regardless of the results of my future tests, I owe a great deal to you.

My instructor Jad was patient, professional, explained everything I needed to know in order to pass, and took me out to the exam location so I could practice there before the test. I passed on my first try. 5/5, highly recommended.

Also for the road test, they prepare you fantastically so that you can pass at one go. Tommik is the best and so available and humble. I definitely recommend this driving school.

Having had a bad experience with a driving instructor, he offered me makeup and considered my feedback. For in-person driving lessons, I highly recommend Jennifer! She is a great teacher, calm, and understanding to her students. Her tips for memorizing important things in driving greatly helped me. I highly recommend Jennifer for in-car lessons!

Fantastic experience: For someone who has insane road anxiety, my instructor was very patient with me throughout my lessons. Four years and 2 driving schools later, I finally passed my road test thanks to my instructor Jaques :) Thank you for dealing with my weekly panic attacks xoxo The secretary is super sweet too, she helped me navigate my way around my driving lessons. Very nice environment!! Ps: if you learn how to drive downtown, you can drive anywhere in life!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)

Negative experience: - 5 STARS NOT 1 STAR My comment and the other 1 star comments represent the reality of this school / the experience you will have if you enroll at Omega. DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR AND AVOID THIS SCHOOL. The lack of professionalism is OUTSTANDING. Driving teachers are always checking their phone during class which means that you are not fully safe with them. They will literally BULLY YOU for the smallest mistake especially Zineb, Franc and another middle aged man I forgot his name. You will never ever start your driving lesson on time because the teacher you are scheduled with will ALWAYS be late OR if you are with Franc for example, he will let you wait for him to finish smoking his cigarette. All the drivers certainly know how to drive but do they have what it takes to teach? DEFINITELY NOT. Besides, you will hardly be able to communicate with the school. If you go in person, you will most likely walk into an empty office and wait for an unknown amount of time because the guy secretary is getting Starbucks. Also, they very rarely pick up the phone so the best way to contact them is via email and even that, they will send you an email that is written in an unprofessional manner/ literally sounds like they are yelling at you. The theory teacher will put you on the spot infront of the class and humiliate you and the list goes on and on and on. I honestly feel like they were short staffed and hired anyone and everyone to give driving lessons. !!! Just go somewhere else where you will be RESPECTED as a student.

Fantastic experience: Even for experienced drivers like me, it’s important to get an idea of the rules and policies prevalent in Canada. I would recommend at least 2 one hour on-road sessions before giving the final road test. My special thanks to Mr Jad who gave me invaluable tips which helped me clear the road test in a single attempt. He is calm and patient, makes you feel comfortable while driving and takes you to specific areas where you get a feel of real life test conditions. Would definitely recommend this academy to both experienced and new drivers.

Negative experience: I'd like to write a complaint about Mme from Tunisia. I had worst experience a student can ever imagine with her. First of all, I was booked for 1 hour lesson, she offered me to stay 2 hours and I accepted it. Afterwards, I told her in the beginning that I might be tired towards the end of the course and I might be prone to make mistakes and she has to be careful. Anyway, shortly after we started our class, a car illegally changed lane in front of us and she told me she does the same but never got caught by police before (even she told this jokingly, I believe it was the truth). Later, she told me I turn the wheel right and left. I answered her the car inclining towards left when going straight and I even showed that to her as going straight, the car was turning slightly left by itself. Anyway, my real complaint is that towards the end of the course, she told me in french "tourne vers la droite". I signalled right before at least 25 meters and made my intention clear that I want to turn right. She was playing with her phone during that time and did not pay attention to my signal. After I made the turn, she told me its one way traffic and we did a U turn and saved the situation. She told me afterwards that she "meant" change to right lane. After, I was told her in the beginning that I might be prone to make mistakes because of 2 hours long drive fatigue and she ought to be careful and stopped/warned me BEFORE making the turn, she became EXTREMELY aggressive, JUMPED on the wheel while driving and started turning RIGHT AND LEFT screaming towards me. I told her she doesn’t have to be mad as the class was already over but she kept her aggressive attitude. I told her that I had a similar problem after 2 hours long driving with Mr. Joseph( I believe his name) but he was careful and he immediately stopped me before making the turn. She took this personal and became more aggressive, screamed saying it is "NOT" her mistake and she could do nothing bla bla... Overall, I do not think this person suits Omega Guy-Concordia's reputation to be a driving instructor. Male instructors are quite experienced and I did NOT have a single issue with any of them. After this incident, I decide to leave Omega for 4th phase and register somewhere else. Any instructor, for whatever reason, has NO RIGHT to be AGGRESSIVE to a student even if they make mistakes because they're there to learn in the first place. If I knew how to drive, I wouldn't be taking the course. My suggestion is that if you're a new student to Omega, ask specifically for male driving instructors as female ones might be quite aggressive and inexperienced. E.H 20/08/2022 !!!!!!!!!EDIT!!!!!!!!!!! They said they fired that “instructor”, rescheduled me for that course of 2 hours and appointed me back to my main real instructor. They might be reckless hiring new instructors but definitely listening and responding their customers for the most part. However, they asked me to delete my review in exchange for rescheduling me and getting me back to my main instructor, which I found impolite. I will probably stay and finish 4th phase. E.H 18/10/22

Fantastic experience: It’s a good school to learn and refresh driving when compared to other schools in downtown. All the driving instructors are good and they know what to do. Special kudos to zainab and jade. Both were outstanding , very friendly. I passed my exam today morning on the first try

Negative experience: You cannot choose english as language on the site. It this on purpose or just a mistake? Only online courses offered. Why not offer again face-to-face classes? Very limited. Pathetic.

Fantastic experience: Passed my exam this morning in Longueuil. It was my second time trying in a month but I stayed positive and kept taking lessons with Jad in between. Finally got it! I'm so proud! Thanks Jad, Yasmine and François. I remember reading the bad reviews before I chose this school, but as I'm getting older, I try to find out for myself. Good thing I did.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this driving school. Customer service is horrible. (male employee) I have a class on the weekend, so I visited the office located in Guy. It was my first class. There was a male staff member, so to ask about the class I opened the door and went in. Suddenly the guy got mad (literally suddenly) "You mustn't come in here. I'm on break and you shouldn't come in if the lights are off in the office. If I wasn't here, you would have stolen the stuff from the office." He shouted and treated me like a thief. I swear I just had someone in the office and politely asked where the class was. I don't know what bad thing happened to him personally. But at least you shouldn't treat your customers that way. I'm not a thief, just to ask about class. He is a very hot-blooded person. If the boss sees this article, I gently suggest that you should fire him immediately if you don't want to lose potential customer in the future.

Fantastic experience: The in car sessions have been very informative and helpful. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the teachers offer up reminders and helpful tips. I have learned a lot. They helped reduce the anxiety and stress that can come from driving in Montreal especially the downtown area and during winter. I felt safe at all times and the teachers offered up encouragement. As far as the in class work i see a lot of people complain about the teacher taking attendance etc but the Government requirements are very strict so it needs to be done. I see several students arrive late and using cell phones and eating during class with very little respect for punctuality and others, of course the teacher must do his best to maintain order. The issue is mostly with students not the teachers. I have always been able to get someone on the phone or email and have all my questions answered. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I think most of these negative reviews were written by fake profiles or immature people that have no respect or understanding of how difficult it is to maintain and operate a business during a pandemic. The staff works hard to get all the students enrolled and ready to pass. I have several friends with children approaching driving age and i recommend this school to all of them. I have almost 300,000 views and interactions on my Google reviews i take it seriously and i only wrote truthfully.

Fantastic experience: I want to give a huge thank you to this school not only for the end result but for making the journey an amazing one as well. There is a great sense of ownership and passion at this school and it shows in the classroom, the instructors and the staff. They are very personable as well as patient and caring. I have had a great year here and got to know some great people. If your looking to find a school to learn, train or start your driving journey than I highly recommend Omega. They really go the extra mile and to them you are not just a client your a guest in their home. Lots of businesses could take notes from them on customer service! In the classroom they take the time to explain everything beyond what the SAAQ requires and show practical examples. In the cars the instructors are patient and have a wealth of knowledge to help you understand the roads as well as utilizing what you have learned in the classrooms. They adapt the teaching to each student and cater to individual learning needs. It was overall a great experience. Once again thank you and see you on the roads!

Negative experience: I booked one month before to get the time where I am available. On Saturday I got a call asking me if it was possible to come 30 minutes before on Monday there was no problem since I was off. Today for my tomorrow's class I just got a call they said they had a car issue and they canceled my tomorrow's pratice. I've already paid for 8 hours. Canceling changing what was scheduled one month before makes me so worried.

Fantastic experience: Passed my driving test on the first try! Driving for the first time in my thirties was intimidating, but the teacher was great. To the point and direct in his instructions, which is what you need in this situation, but also friendly! They can be hard to reach by phone (pandemic not helping I'm sure) so email is best. Five stars!

Negative experience: J'ai passé l'examen pour avoir l'attestation Mars dernier et dès que l'école recommence les cours en Juin, il m'appelle pour savoir est-ce que je continue les cours sans me donner aucune information sur mon attestation et comment je peux l'avoir. Depuis j'appelle presque chaque semaine sans réponse. L'école doit travailler sur la communication.

Negative experience: This is the WORST driving school in Quebec. Very poor communication not reliable not professional they are very lazy and hate speaking on the phone. If you want something you got to go there and ask them in real life. Do not waste your money in this place because you will have a hard time obtaining you driver's license. Teachers only speak english and their english is not understandable. Please chose any other driving school than this one.

Fantastic experience: Mon école de conduite ne m'avait vraiment pas bien préparer pour l'examen de conduite, la plupart du temps ils m'emmenaient dand le traffic perdre mon temps. (CAA-Quebec) J'ai donc rechercher ailleur et j'ai trouvé cette école. Superbe expérience. Vu que j'avais mon examen de la SAAQ dans la même semaine le secrétaire m'a fait de la place pour um cour de 2 heures. Le prof super sympa m'a réellement aider avec tout ce que j'avais besoin et m'a emmener loin du traffic avec l'inttention de vraiment m'apprendre à conduire. Au final j'ai passé l'examen du premier coup. De plus les prix sont meilleurs que ladite CAA.
