He was patient, knowledgeable and helpful with all her questions. The staff booking her driving lessons had excellent customer service. Always, informative and willing to help and accommodate our schedule. She aced her test and was told her she had great skills, safety and was ready to be on the road. My son went thru the program as well and passed. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend VDS 10/10. Especially AMALIA , She is a gem and prepares you and trains you under maximum difficulty which makes you feel more confident for the road test . If have a choice, ask for her and you will pass first try.

The back-office staff was incredibly helpful—every time I had a question, the online chat was fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I also appreciated their clear pricing with no hidden fees, and the online booking was simple to use. My road training started always right on time, which was great. My instructor, Amalia, was wonderful! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but we also shared some laughs, which made learning enjoyable and not just about passing the pre-trip and road tests. She offered tips that were invaluable, and I truly believe her guidance helped me pass on my first try. Without her, I don’t think I’d have been as confident or successful. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: My experience with Zaman as a driving instructor was not positive. He seemed more focused on his phone than on teaching, which made me feel unsafe and unsupported during truck driving lessons. I would not recommend him due to his lack of attention and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Fred from Valley Driving School was amazing. Two days before my Class 7 road test, I had no car and no help, and no other driving school could send someone. Fred stepped in and took time, even on his day off, to make sure I was ready. His help and support were great, and because of him, I passed my test. Fred's dedication and kindness make him a fantastic instructor. I would definitely recommend this driving school to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Valley driving school in Coquitlam was an incredible experience. I was fortunate to have Zaman as an instructor who got me ready for my class 3. The Instructors are so knowledgeable, they adapt to different learning styles and give you plenty of resources to form your own way about going through pre trip etc. Valley driving school is the sole reason I was successful in passing my road test. Can’t say enough good things about them I highly recommend their services!

Positive experience: I went through both the in-class and on-road courses and with my road test tomorrow, I can't imagine being more prepared. Fred was my instructor the entire time and as long as you practice in earnest there is no better teacher out there (just beware of moose jokes). My schedule was very open but those who aren't may find it difficult to book appointments. However, I was taught every relevant skill theoretical and practical alike and was helped through all of my shortcomings. I recommend valley driving school to anyone wishing to pass a driver's licensing test anytime in the future.

Fantastic experience: I was taught how to drive a truck from valley driving school to get my Class 3 license. Zaman and Mickey were both very great instructors that were thorough and had a great sense of humor. They're both very experienced and knowledgeable and I felt very confident for my exam. I also want to say that September is a fantastic receptionist that helped me set up my driving lessons despite my hectic work schedule. I believe all 3 set a very high standard for all driving schools and I definitely recommend getting your class 3 from here.

Fantastic experience: I went in for my air brake endorsement last weekend. The theory course was laid out very well I felt like the way it was taught I was able to retain all the information easily. Gregory as an instructor was outstanding he made everyone feel comfortable and made it a very nice place to learn. The Hands-On course the next day was also taught by Gregory and it was fantastic, I felt 100% confident in actually doing the air brake Hands-On. I passed to the ICBC written course with flying colors and couldn't be happier!!

Fantastic experience: I passed my class 3 so smooth, I was totally prepared going into the exam, the learning process was exactly what I needed. I had Zaman as my instructor and he provided an amazing learning environment with really clear and obtainable goals set out for each day. I also really appreciated being able to drive the truck from he school to my road test at icbc. Gave me the perfect extra practice to get the pre test jitters out before the actual test. 10/10 id recommend Zaman for his teaching process and his wonderful attitude!

Fantastic experience: The classes I attended here was more fun and interesting than government education has any right to be. My instructor, Fred, has enough experience driving that I wonder how he has time to teach the classes, let alone put as much effort into making them interesting as he does. I'm sure the things I learned here will be nothing short of vital on my official road test, and my real one afterwards.

Fantastic experience: I took 10 classes with Fred and learned a lot! Passed the first time I took the test because he taught me how to drive safely! Which is really important for ICBC tests and in real life. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I had Jessica as my instructor for my Class 2 and she was great and instructed me well as well as gave great tips on how to successfully pass and get my class 2 on pre-inspection and driving. Unfortunately she was ill on one of the weeks, but September managed to help me out and reshedule my lesson, and I passed the test! Definitely highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Started with valley back in june for airbrakes and class 3. My instructor was Zaman. Fantastic instructor! Patient, thorough, can see your strengths and focuses on your weak points. His method allows for the whole process to come through clearly and thoroighly. Passed the pre-trip 0 mistakes in less than 30 minutes.passed my driving he really gets you comfortable behind the wheel .

Fantastic experience: I had Zaman as my class 3 instructor. Im getting my class 3 for fire fighting and was very nervous about road test. Which i passed first go. It was reassuring how confident Zaman was in his ability to teach letting me know constantly that he would have me ready to go. Fantastic experience: Valley Driving School at Port Coquitlam was incredible. Very easy to deal with scheduling lesson plans etc. The air brakes course was delivered very well and my driving instructor, Zaman, was brilliant. Fantastic experience: My experience with valley driving school, in particular Rob who did my driving lesson and pre-trip check for my class 4 unrestricted was amazing. The administrative staff were extremely accommodating with my schedule and road test time, and my instructor Rob was very friendly, knowledgeable, a great teacher, easy to learn from and ask questions to, and all around made a nerve racking situation feel calm and achievable. Getting my class 4 unrestricted was a requirement of my job, so I had a lot riding on passing the first time (which I did), and I couldn't have been in better hands. Rob had a fun way of teaching and did everything he could to help me pass my test. Zaman helped me out as well with my warm up prior to my test and was very helpful in getting me ready to go, he listened to my concerns and was quick in addressing them and helping me fine tune my knowledge and skills. Very grateful and thankful for the excellent service, top notch skills and friendly service that I experienced at Valley Driving School. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I just successfully completed my ICBC Class 2 (bus) test following 10 hours of training with Zaman (pronounced “zah-mon, but should probably be “ZA-MAN” because he is Tha Man, lol). Zaman is a thorough instructor who will provide you with fantastic techniques to memorize all of the information you will have to regurgitate during the Class 2 examination at ICBC. I highly recommend asking for him personally when you book your lessons: Zaman Khan. Thank you, also, to September in the Port Coquitlam office for being so friendly and organized. All around, an awesome experience!

He really knows how to make you understand everything about the trucks and what to do etc. I'd advise to ask for him for a class 3 instructor I passed and I couldn't have done it without sher there thats valley you guys are great!

They prepare you very well for the test. Would recommend you wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as you will be under a truck during training and for the test.

Positive experience: Almost Always impressed with these guys I see on the road!! However some issues with The car folks who seem to have issues teaching drivers correctly. Then I watch semis left lane travel. Wide right and stay center. Then I watched one stop at a yield with nothing approaching. Not the same outfit I was trained at. It's apparent times have changed. Other then this... great place for knowledge base. Friendly and seem to know what they are doing.

Positive experience: I learned a lot with Valley Driving (instructor: Zaman) and he got me prepared to pass my Class 3 driving & pre-trip inspection tests on the first try! Not only was he knowledgeable of what the test would look/feel like but he made me feel at ease on our 4hr driving lessons around PoCo (which he referred to as "Sunday drives"). If you have any questions I suggest you talk to September at the front desk, she is very informative and helpful. They really care about your success here at Valley Driving and I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to learn to drive truck.

He curates his teaching to your strengths and weaknesses. He even goes out of his way to make sure you're a competent driver. It was a real pleasure and he makes learning fun. Fantastic experience: I completed my class 2 w/ air through lessons with Zaman at this branch. In short, just about everything you would want from an instructor. He even gave a great tour of some farmyard animals, what more could you ask for. I passed on my first try despite the ICBC examiner being late and letting the pressure build. Valley Driving with Zaman is the way to go. Catch him before he retires. You za man Zaman. September is also the best in creating a schedule with the drivers that works for you. Working Full-time I was still able to complete the program and get my license. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my class 3 exam on my first try, Zaman was my instructor and he was excellent in preparing me for the pre trip inspection and driving test. Im a hands on learner and he made sure to gear his teaching style towards that by making me focus on my weaknesses and improving on them.

All this happen because of my Instructor "Mr. Seth", how well he taught A to Z to me of Truck and Trailer exam preparation. Mr Seth was extremely professional, helpful, and detailed oriented and well precised in his feedback. Fantastic experience: I recently competed the Class 1 Career Program at Valley Driving School in Port Coquitlam. All of the training I received from the air brakes course to the pre-road test on road training was excellent. My instructor Seth was very experienced and professional. He adjusted my training to suit my personal training needs which was exactly what I needed to be successful on my first class 1 road test. September was very helpful in the office as well for organizing my schedule ect. I highly recommend instructor Seth and Valley Driving School Port Coquitlam!

Positive experience: Instructor Alex was great. However, the office itself can be quite disorganized. After my second attempt at the class 7 license I called Valley to ensure my GLP was on file since I gave the form to my examiner on the first exam. Lady on the phone told me it was already on ICBC's file. My license came in the mail shortly after and my earliest exam take was 24 months after instead of 18, so I called again to double check and this time they told me I needed to bring the form to the second exam and that I needed to go to ICBC and hand them the form which at that point i no longer had. So I drove all the way to the office in POCO to pick up a copy of the form and than went to my ICBC appointment to give the form to an advisor. The advisor told me the form was already on file.... it would have been nice if Valley Driving School gave me the correct information so I wouldn't have wasted my time. Although Alex was great, I likely won't use Valley in the future due to this situation.

I never drove semi truck in my life,but after 50 hours of driving with Seth,i felt very confident to take road test right away. Highly recommend Valley Driving School and instructor Seth!

Fantastic experience: I do not usually do reviews but felt compelled to for this company. We are so happy with our experience at Valley Driving School. Both our daughters went there with little to no experience and after completing the course they passed their tests on the first try. September in the office was fantastic. Big shout out to Alex for teaching our youngest to drive. From coming home in tears after the first lesson to passing her test on the first try, Alex had the personality and patience to help her succeed. Fred taught our oldest and was great too. Fantastic experience: I worked with September for my schedule which she was awesome and very accommodating! My instructor was Leroy.... he was awesome,calming,funny,explained things and examples very well and shared his experiences and very positive with all feedback and areas to focus on to prepare me for my roadtest! Along came the roadtest and well...I passed and was told a great road test score. This is in part to both the great skills and teachings of Leroy but also the accommodating factors of everyone at Valley. I will definitely use them again if need and highly recommend anyone to use in future. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Took the class 3 driver training manual shift with Seth as my instructor. That man is a Saint. I would have gotten out of that truck so many times. He was very patient and his teaching style was a perfect match for my learning style. He let me make mistakes and taught me how to avoid them in the future. I was panicking on the lesson before my test but he calmed me down and I passed with flying colors. I will be requesting him when I decide to do class 1. Thanks buddy!!!

Fantastic experience: I took driving lessons with Alex. He was very patient and gave useful, practical feedback and helped me feel confident behind the wheel. Even with Covid restrictions, he made the experience stress-free and I passed my test on the first try. I would highly recommend valley driving school and especially Alex!

Negative experience: I've just recently finished up training that I was allowed to take at this school and passed my class 1 using this schools truck for the test. I signed up for the class 1 complete course, which includes classes on transportation of dangerous goods, defensive driving, national security code, airbrakes, and a few other things. All I was able to take in this course was the on road training/pretrip lessons. These are the courses I have not been able to take because of classes being shut down: -Air brake course day 1 and 2 (I've already got my airbrakes, so no biggie here) -Defensive driving course -National security code (log books) -Load security and hauling freight -Transportation of dangerous goods -Smart driver highway trucking -Mountain run course (they have stated I could take a mini version of this course, but not until late May) Now, paying $4200 to have the education on nearly all aspects of CDL training, and receiving only a fraction of that is not something I would deem quality service from a school. I was told I could take them in a few months when classes open up again. Because I have passed my class 1 road test I can now get started in the industry, but I still lack the vital knowledge needed in many aspects of the trade. I was not made aware of the classes I was not able to take until I inquired about it early last week, less than a week before my road test was to happen, so I am immensely disappointed in this schools lack of communication. The training I did receive was pretty good, my onroad instructor did a great job, but nearly every other aspect of this school (lack of full communication and inability to utilize the courses I PAID TO TAKE, unwillingness to come up with other solutions) is subpar at best. Due to this experience, unless there is some way to rectify this other than the "wait x amount of months to then finish the training" response I've got, I can not recommend this school for others to take.

Negative experience: Requires you pay for half your class before showing you the schedule. Upon paying, they do not offer the course I wanted on weekends or at the location I live near. In order to take the class I would have to commute to another location on a Monday night and stay up several hours passed when I need to be asleep for my morning shift. None of this can be viewed until they have already taken your money.
