Expérience négative: The worst drive test I have ever visited in Ontario. Just remember even if you need washroom and you go they will remove you from the list . They don’t respect your time . My number was on the board they didn’t serve me for 30 seconds that I was at the corridor . The raise voice on poor newcomers . Such a disaster. I never recommend that to any one .

Expérience fantastique: Young Drivers is an amazing experience that I believe everyone should take! They teach you how to safely drive and show you the ins and out of what you should or shouldn’t be doing. It’ll stick with you and it’ll make just that much better of a driver. My Instructor is very passionate with what he does and makes sure that whoever he’s teaching doesn’t become another person who gets in an accident. 5 stars is a fitting rating!

Expérience négative: I attended YD over 30 years ago and had an amazing experience. My daughter is doing the virtual course. We paid for 10 driving lessons and it took more than 6 months to book them. Nobody ever answers the phone at this business, it always goes to voice mail. If it doesn't go to voicemail then expect to wait 60-70 minutes to talk to a person. After over a month since the last message I left, I finally had a message returned and was able to book lessons for 7 weeks from now. They are short on instructors and short on people answering the phone also apparently. It's a shame the website doesn't discuss any of these issues or offer any kind of apology. If you are expecting home pick up/drop off for lessons like they used to do apparently it isn't currently being offered. At least that I can understand. Overall a terrible customer experience so far, will see how it goes from here. Update #1: well the lessons are underway and my daughter's instructor is excellent. Unfortunately as it has been nearly a year since we signed up we have until December 31 to complete all the in car lessons or risk losing the insurance certificate that was the whole reason we signed up in the first place. The instructor had limited availability and the last lesson is booked for just before Christmas so we may make the deadline as long as nobody gets sick. Added an extra star to the review as things seem to be back on track. Update #2: lessons completed literally just under the 1 year wire. But if either my daughter or the instructor had been sick we would not have made it. Overall, the customer experience was definitely poor and I think we will look at different options for child #2.

Expérience négative: It has been a very frustrating and upset experience in dealing with this school. After I enrolled my daughter for her driving education course and tried to book her the lessons, we ran into tremendous amount of difficulties. First, in June, we were told that there aren't lessons until August. Second, after having received the initial two lessons in early August scheduled by YD head office, we were told there is no further availability for balance of the summer. Now that my daughter is in Peterborough for University, I had been trying to contact their franchisee there for past two days without success. This leaves us in limb because as per recently MTO memo, all courses started Covid must be completed by Dec 31, 2022. So, I am left with no option but to write this review
