Expérience fantastique: Being that we are purchasing an Air Brake enabled RV, we needed to get our Air Brakes endorsement and we were referred to MTI by another past student. First eight hours was theory with the instructor (Patrick) was great. Very easy to learn the theory including the use of the custom air board which showed each component with them actually working so you could see why the Air Brake component was needed and the benefit. The following day was four hours theory with John (MTI owner) whose experience and ease of understanding exactly how the theory applied in a real scenarios. The theory had 20 students but the practical was only five students for each group allowing everyone to be able to observe each students practical sessions with the final testing be not only about retention but also included questions on how it would apply and why it was needed. While our RV will only be towing an electric brake trailer and that with the RV (Prévost) some of the tasks in pre-trip and post-trip would not apply, John took the time after the class to provide us with resources and advice on what Prevost’s specifically pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as referring us to very experienced Prévost mechanical shop as this is required as part of the on-going maintenance and inspection. Highly recommend MTI for not only Air Brakes but in reviewing the comment board we saw that they have very high reviewed from past student of the Class 1, 2 and 4 classes.

Expérience fantastique: I needed to get out Air Brakes Endorsement to allow use of our Prevost RV. I was referred to MTI and I can understand why! My course consisted of 8 hours of theory and 4 hours of practical. With the theory, the instructor was Patrick who knowledge is vast, with his teaching ability being both informative yet personable. With the practical, the instructor was John (who is the owner of MTI). Not only were we shown the practical pre-trip we were shown the benefits as well as full explanation and John is again very informative yet personable. I strongly suggest that you consider using MTI as not only are the instructors top notch but the location in Castlegar allows drivers to be to be challenged with professional guidance the two mountain passes which border Castlegar.
