Expérience fantastique: Linda S. was by far the best instructor I could've asked for. She was tough, relentless and took her job seriously, while also being personable and sensitive to my own personal challenges - especially given the fact that NOT having a full G license yet is typically seen by my generation as a shame-worthy embarrassment. It's because of her I've successfully achieved my goals of passing both certification and license testing - and am now car shopping. As an IT Professional who's had over 12 years of experience in training/educating individual clients and teams in residential, commercial and government settings - I know a passionate and dedicated professional when I see one!

She is clearly very experienced as both a driver and instructor, and I now feel much more comfortable in the drivers' seat because of it. :^)

I experienced a lot of driving anxiety and overall no driving skill but Audrey helped me overcome this and become a fearless excellent driver! She was very patient and knowledgeable! She is compassionate and caring instructor who wants you to succeed. I will definitely go back to Audrey for my G license!

She took an over 40 yr old mom of 2 unexperienced timid driver and turned her into a confident road worthy driver in little over 5 weeks. She put me at ease immediately with her knowledge and charm; she help build my confidence with each lesson with her constant encouragement and direction. She has the best personality for teaching. I will miss my in car lessons with her but look forward to have her as my road instructor next year to obtain my full G license.

Expérience fantastique: My experience with Canadian Tire Drivers Academy in Kingston was outstanding and much more enjoyable than I had ever expected. The in-class lessons were very engaging and delivered in a way that has really made the key points sink in. As a ‘mature’ driver (50+) with zero driving experience, I was certainly apprehensive about learning and mastering this new skill. I was so relieved to have such a patient and understanding in-car instructor. Through all ten lessons Audrey was always so encouraging and supportive. I really never imagined that I would look forward to the sessions so much. I passed the G2 test with no anxiety and am now enjoying driving so much that my wife rarely gets the keys but can now relax in the passenger seat after so many years as ‘chauffeur’. If I had kids or grand-kids that needed driving lessons, Audrey would be the one to do it!

For the past year I've had the pleasure of having Maryam as my Driving Instructor at the Canadian Tire Drivers Academy. Audrey was my in class and in car instructor and she is absolutely amazing! The class was never boring and I learned so much from her, she made the class so enjoyable with very professional teaching skills. I can’t believe how fast I progressed during my in car lessons with Audrey, I was comfortable and confident driving on my own as soon I got my G2. I was taught how how to parallel park and back up into a parking spot perfectly every time, learned defensive driving, highway driving, recover from a skid and sooo much more. I know now how to parallel park and reverse park everywhere and I am also very comfortable on the 401 because every lesson we would go through all of these skills. The in class, also taught by Audrey, was interesting and fun! Most kids complain about having to go to the in class because it’s so long but she made it go by so fast and I actually enjoyed going. I have had nothing but support from this Drivers academy. From the point I signed up, to giving my instructor a big hug after I passed my G2 test with flying colours. I 100% recommend this driving academy!!

Although I already had my G2 license, I needed a lot of refreshers with the road rules and she was very patient in teaching me all of them. My ONLY driving experience was in car with her over the course of 9 lessons and thanks to her I was able to still pass my G2 test with flying colours! She was very insightful, provided great techniques and strategies to improve my driving, and encouraged me every step of them way. I HIGHLY recommend her whether you just need a refresher or (like me) need to learn everything starting at the beginning!

She was patient and funny and gave me so much confidence that I know I will be fine passing my road test next month...seriously, give her a payraise...I was unfortunately stuck w TOM my first few lessons when I came back to Kingston and HE WAS ABYSMAL...RUDE, INCONSIDERATE and at one point when I was following what I had been TAUGHT in the classroom about changing lanes (SMOG) ripped the WHEEL out of my hands and chastised me for doing it wrong...seriously, he's 84 and needs to retire. Also he teaches ppl to never leave a space when pulling up behind a car at an intersection? and got pissy w me when I refused to pull all the way up. Newsflash, YOU NEED TO HAVE AN ESCAPE ROUTE!!! He shouldn't be teaching young ppl how to drive bc he is teaching them WRONG... UPDATE...I successfully passed my G2 test easily! I was so nervous beforehand but Audrey took me on the 2 routes over and over again during my pre exam lesson and said you can do this and you will do this! I even had the supervisor as my examiner and passed easily. Which is ironic bc that TOM stated I would never pass?!!! What does that tell you CTDA about his abilities...he needs to STOP TEACHING OUR COMMUNITY HOW TO DRIVE...bc he can't. AUDREY IS AWESOME, AUDREY IS QUEEN OF CTDA and I will be finding her in a few years time to prepare for my G license test.

Expérience fantastique: Incredible! My driving instructor Audrey's lessons are unparalleled. Her love of giving lessons is evident by the compassion and motivation with which she teaches. She celebrates your every success, directs your attention to everything you need be looking at (to inform you to habitually do the same), and has an arsenal of tricks for performing parallel parks, three-point turns and every other driving maneuver. Even myself, possessing no natural skill behind the wheel, can parallel park with ease and confidence after just one lesson. Driving always scared me, however the road looks less and less like a gladiatorial ring the more I drive with Audrey. Now I know where to look as if reading off a checklist to ensure my safety and that of others. You can't go wrong by picking this driver's school - your safety and confidence is worth every penny (especially with Audrey).

Expérience fantastique: Bosaina was an amazing driving instructor. I wasn't able to do any practicing on my own and was worried about how that would effect my driving skills. But with only 10 lessons from Bosaina I passed my driving test!

I took lessons and also reffered my son to her too and he passed in first attempt as well in only five lessons. She speak multiple languages and is specially good for South Asian people. I give her 5 start rating and would recommend her to everyone.

Expérience négative: I wish I can say something nice about the Canadian Tire Drivers Academy. I can't really though. All I had to deal with is their horrible customer service. I called today to see why the discount was no longer listed on their site and was told it ended on August 30th. I didn't see that anywhere on their website (that or I missed it) and I told her how I needed the lessons to find a career in my field and that I finally had it all saved up. Instead of empathizing with me or telling me when the next deal might be, all the lady said on the phone was that she was sorry and there was nothing she could do. So next time someone comes to my workplace and says "Hey, I want this coupon but it expired yesterday, is there anything you can do?" instead of approaching my manager and seeing if we could work out an agreement that will make both parties happy, I will instead say "Sorry, it expired yesterday." and leave both parties unhappy.

The in class lessons had a lot of important, practical material, and the driving instructor (Audrey) is the best thing about the course! She is very fun to drive with and makes driving much more interesting than it would usually be.

(Especially about the winter tires vs All season). My perspective has changed while on the road and now I am able to spot out the mistakes people make and which they could have avoided. i really enjoyed the Maintenance session as well. I highly recommend everyone to take this driving course even if you are an experienced driver!! Better stay safe than be sorry !!
