Expérience fantastique: Je voudrais remercier mon instructeur, Nicaelo. C'est un très bon instructeur. J'ai eu des cours avec lui depuis juin 2024 (pour 18 heures), il est très calme et poli. Il m'a beaucoup aidé avec mes compétences de conduite, il m'a guidé et m'a encouragé face à l'anxiété de conduite que j'avais. J'ai décidé de pratiquer davantage avec lui après avoir terminé mes 18 premières heures, pour me sentir confiant, j'ai continué à pratiquer avec lui jusqu'à ma première date d'examen dans la rue, en novembre 2024. Expérience fantastique: Venant de l'UE, j'ai eu du mal avec le style de conduite canadien et les différentes exigences pour réussir l'examen de conduite. Nicaelo a pu m'aider très rapidement à adapter mon style de conduite et à me préparer pour l'examen de conduite. La planification avec Roanne a été rapide, fluide et organisée.

Expérience fantastique: Je ne pourrais pas imaginer avoir un meilleur instructeur de conduite qu'Edgar. Il comprend vraiment ce que c'est que pour les nouveaux conducteurs de prendre le volant et c'est un enseignant incroyable et patient. J'ai réussi mon test N du premier coup, et tout cela grâce à la capacité d'Edgar à créer un environnement d'apprentissage aussi sûr et efficace. Je lui donnerais une note de 6 étoiles si je le pouvais, mais Google ne me permet de donner que 5.

Le formateur de premier ordre Nicaelo m'a appris à être confiant et en sécurité tout en me rendant extrêmement à l'aise pendant l'enseignement. Expérience fantastique: J'ai eu une expérience incroyable avec Doel et Rain ! J'ai acheté un forfait de leçons et je suis parti sur la route pour la première fois avec Doel. Très détendu, informatif sur les bases, et il a inculqué de bonnes habitudes de conduite. J'ai acheté des leçons supplémentaires spécifiquement pour les tests simulés avec Rain. Super professeur aussi ! J'étais très anxieux pour l'examen de conduite et il m'a aidé à bien me préparer + il était très compétent sur des scénarios super spécifiques pour prendre les bonnes décisions en toute sécurité.

Expérience fantastique: En tant que personne qui a suivi deux séries de cours avec RainCity sur deux années non consécutives, je recommande vivement cette auto-école. Leur service a été constamment amical, clair et raisonnable. J'ai eu Edgar comme mon instructeur pendant 9 heures de cours en préparation de mon examen de classe 7 et 3 examens blancs en préparation de mon examen de classe 5, que j'ai tous deux réussis du premier coup. L'enseignement d'Edgar est très patient et clair, avec plein de bons conseils. J'ai vraiment apprécié qu'il soit particulièrement strict pour mes examens blancs, ce qui a rendu mon examen réel facile !

Expérience fantastique: J'ai récemment réussi mon test de conduite de classe 5 du premier coup. Tout cela grâce à mes leçons de conduite avec Nicaelo à l'école de conduite RainCity. Dès la première leçon, Nicaelo a démontré un niveau de professionnalisme et de patience qui m'a immédiatement mis à l'aise derrière le volant. Il a une excellente manière de communiquer des concepts de conduite complexes d'une manière à la fois facile à comprendre et à retenir. Que ce soit pour le stationnement en parallèle ou pour naviguer à travers un trafic dense, ses instructions étaient claires et concises. Apprendre à conduire peut être une expérience stressante, mais le calme et la nature de soutien de Nicaelo ont fait toute la différence. Expérience fantastique: J'ai récemment réussi ma classe 7 en n'utilisant que le véhicule loué et l'aide des instructeurs de cette école. J'ai essayé 3 fois, et il est évident que cela a nécessité une grande patience pour m'aider à progresser, malgré ma maladresse et ma tendance à oublier. Et ils l'ont fait. J'ai eu Doel en premier puis Edgar, et tous deux ont été très soutenants, patients et compétents dans leur enseignement. Un grand merci aussi à la maîtresse de l'emploi du temps Roanne, qui a été extrêmement compréhensive. J'espère que tous ceux qui travaillent dans cette école peuvent être en bonne santé, heureux et réussir. Note : c'est très amusant de parler avec Edgar si vous jouez à des jeux PC/console, bien que vous ne deviez pas laisser la conversation vous distraire pendant que vous conduisez.

L'une des choses que j'ai le plus appréciées de nos leçons était que Nicaelo pouvait se rapporter aux jeunes conducteurs, indépendamment de la conduite, nous avons eu de bonnes conversations qui m'ont mis à l'aise sur la route, et ce n'était jamais gênant. Expérience fantastique: Je n'ai commencé à conduire que depuis quelques mois et j'ai réussi mon permis de classe 7N (nouveau conducteur) du premier coup à ICBC Lougheed. Un grand merci à Rain et à l'école de conduite RainCity pour toutes les leçons et l'aide ! J'ai pris 11 heures de leçons de conduite avec Rain et cela en valait vraiment la peine ! C'est définitivement un bon instructeur : patient, aimable, compétent et prêt à se donner du mal pour vous enseigner correctement. Pour moi qui n'ai jamais possédé de voiture ni conduit auparavant, Rain a été d'une grande aide : très clair dans ses instructions, bien informé des lois en matière de conduite et des directives de l'ICBC, et il a certainement des réflexes rapides pour vous garder en sécurité ! Je souhaite encore plus de succès à Rain et à l'école de conduite RainCity pour l'enseignement de la conduite intelligente et sûre (et bien sûr pour que les élèves réussissent leur examen de conduite tout de suite) !

Expérience fantastique: Je suis allé à l'école de conduite RainCity avec presque aucune expérience (je n'avais conduit qu'une ou deux fois auparavant) et en environ huit cours, j'ai réussi à passer mon examen de conduite sans aucun défaut. C'est le meilleur que ma famille ait jamais fait dans notre histoire de conduite. S'il y avait une option de six étoiles possible, je l'aurais choisie, le personnel est si amical et toutes les instructions sont faciles à comprendre. Je ne peux pas les remercier assez !

La communication pour réserver et payer était simple, le seul problème était de réserver des leçons puisque je ne les avais pas planifiées à l'avance. Expérience fantastique: My experience learning to drive here was excellent, thanks to my instructor, Rain. He was super helpful in getting me prepared for the driving exam. Rain was great at pointing out areas where I needed improvement, but also quick to praise the things I was doing well. I also really appreciated his honesty when it came to scheduling more lessons. He gave me a spot-on estimate of the additional hours I would need to be totally ready for my exam. It never felt like he was trying to oversell or add unnecessary lessons. Overall, I felt really supported and well-prepared. Big thanks to Rain for making my learning experience so positive!

Expérience fantastique: I booked two 60-minute lessons as refreshers for a Class 5 test. Despite some hiccups in the beginning to due to some miscommunication with RainCity, Edgar, my instructor, was the perfect teacher. He walked me through what an ICBC would look for and immediately pointed out what I needed to work on given our limited time together. Edgar didn't beat around the bush; he told me what would fail me and made notes for me practice/remember during my own time. Thanks to Edgar, I passed my test on my first try the following week!

He took the time to draw things out to further better his explanation. Took my N test yesterday, and I passed first try :) It really helped having Edgar be super encouraging and giving me the confidence I needed by reminding me that I already know the maneuvers (all thanks to him). He even took the time to do a session before my test to further make sure I was prepared. Highly recommend them!

Edgar was my instructor and he was really patient and gave me the confidence to take the N test and pass on my first try! Expérience fantastique: Roanne was great through email, phone call and scheduling. Before our call, I wrote down a bunch of questions and want to ask her, and during the call she pretty much answered everything without me even asking anything. That shows how experience she is and how much she know what the students want to know or care about before signing up with them. The price is very reasonable imo. It’s cheaper than some of my friends’ driving schools in Vancouver. I had Doel as my first instructor, and then in the later half had Doel and Edgar switch between the lessons. Both of them are very good instructors, different style, both very informative, knowledgeable and patient. Even on the days when they are not in the best mood (very rare), they would try very hard to be patient, and would apologize if they think they were being too loud or anything, which I really appreciate but I really didn’t think it was that bad tbh. If I have a student who is about to hit another car, I would probably yell… but It shows a lot of their professionalism and how much they actually want you to have the most comfortable experience. Before the test they take you to mock test and help you identify what you need to improve and pay attention to in the road test. On the day, they also take you for an hour drive before the road test, which was SUPER helpful. They were also super encouraging and help you feel as confident as you can get. I didn’t do well with all of my mock test, and they still told me that I could pass, just need to relax, focus and be confident. Those words didn’t sound like a lot, but it definitely helped. I passed first try with only 2 errors for my N! Thanks Doel, Edgar and Roanne for helping me through the journey. Will definitely come back before my class 5 test in the next couple years!

After just a few sessions I was able to retake my N test and successfully pass it :) The person behind the phone number is so nice and accommodating. I rescheduled classes and road tests 3 different times and they were still able to fit me in with short notice !

Expérience fantastique: I drove for almost a year with just my parents without taking any formal lessons and a month before my novice test I decided to take a couple lessons with RainCity, which was definitely the right choice to make. I had Edgar as my instructor a couple times and Doel once, and both of them were such amazing instructors. Edgar gave me concise and easy-to-understand instructions and helped me whenever I was unsure of what to do. He answered all my questions and gave me so many useful tips to improve my driving. The first time I had a lesson with him, I did a mock road test and I failed six times. My second lesson with him, I only messed up once, thanks to all the advice he gave me during our first lesson. Doel was also an awesome instructor, he was very patient and friendly and didn’t judge me for the ridiculous amount of dumb mistakes I made, but gave me plenty of tips on how to fix them. I can confidently say that the reason I was able to pass my drivers test on the first try was because of how well they taught me during our lessons. I would very highly recommend taking lessons with RainCity and if you want instructors that are patient, knowledgeable and helpful, ask for Edgar and Doel!

Expérience fantastique: Exceptional driving school … I hadn’t driven in 10 years, and I started my first few lessons with Gene. I could not have been paired with a better first instructor- He is very kind, and provides very clear instructions. He helped me to learn the processes and instilled my confidence in driving. At one point I jumped the curb, and I truly appreciated his calmness in that moment. I then had lessons with Rain. Truly an amazing instructor, who went above and beyond helping me learn the rules of the road. He is very adaptable and has strong communication and listening skills. Edgar was my instructor on road test day and I found his teaching style mirrored Rain’s. He knew exactly the pre road-test lesson I needed. I ended up passing on my first road test attempt (N). They were great at communication and very flexible in their scheduling. Doel was an excellent instructor who taught our daughter everything she needed to know to safely drive in the city. He was very patient and knowledgeable and had great tips for parking. It was wonderful to see our daughter grow in her confidence on the road after each lesson. Doel did a great job preparing her for the road test and she passed on her first try! We will definitely be choosing Raincity Driving School again when our other two kids are driving age. I highly recommend them!

Roanne was quick and easy to communicate any changes to driving schedules. My instructors were Gene and Edgar. Gene is great at nailing down good driving habits by sharing his simple processes for safe driving. Edgar is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable with any driving question. Expérience fantastique: Attending Raincity driving school has probably been the best choice that I could have ever made! I was to take my class 5 license and I wanted to increase my chances if passing my road test so I chose this school among many other options as I particularly liked the way Roanne made it so convenient to make bookings on top of being very professional and likeable. Among the instructors, Gene has been the one I spent most of the sessions and has helped me a lot to gain confidence in driving. Edgar has given me very useful tips on top of my confidence and Rain has been extremely helpful for the session preceding my road test. All of the instructors there were extremely patient and helpful and each of them gave me very useful tips to help me gain a lot of confidence in driving on big and busy roads (where I come from, we do not have such roads) and to pass my road test with success. This school is really worth the price you pay for it and if you are not confident like I was to drive in BC roads, Raincity is definitely the place to go to!

At that time I was a new driver with little confidence on the road. But after four lessons with Edgar, who’s very knowledgeable and patient, I passed my third road test and got the N licence with ease! I wish I had come to RainCity before my first road test.

Expérience fantastique: Took one brush up class with these guys for my Class 5 exam. The booking process was speedy and simple and the instructor was friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they let me use my own car, which a lot of the other places that I contacted did not. Also, one other driving school pretty much insisted that I needed at least two classes during initial booking despite not knowing anything about my skill level so I really appreciate the Raincity instructor telling me that I didn’t need further lessons at the end of our session. The honesty and integrity is respectable.

If you’re ever unsure of something, you’re welcome to ask any questions you may have. You’ll have confidence when you take your Road Test — and of course driving knowledge you’ll apply even after your Road Test! You’ll likely be driving a Toyota Prius. (Downloading the owner’s manual online can help with familiarity of the 'windshield wiper lever' and the 'lights lever', which will be a part of your ‘Pre-trip’ Road Test).

Gene pushed me to up my speed and gain confidence because I was being to hesitant and to remember my hill parks. And Edgar helped me understand real life driving situations and how to get myself out of them. He also was so amazing at explaining everything with drawings and talking! Which helped me because I learn best by seeing things. Would highly recommend this place ❤️ if I ever need "brushing up" one day I'll definitely be coming here again. Would give 6/5 if I could!

Expérience fantastique: Doel and his brother, Rain, were really great instructors to have for someone learning to drive with zero experience. They were very patient and created a low pressure environment to learn in. That helped with my stress levels when I first started and eventually, I managed to pass my N on the first try! The only downside is that they're fairly busy, so it was difficult to book any additional lessons without tons of notice, but that wasn't anything on their end.

Roanne makes scheduling lessons super easy and both Doel and Rain are some of the most patient, kind, and chill instructors I've met (and I've met quite a few). Despite being easy going they are VERY serious about road safety and will help hammer the good driving habits into your system. I highly recommend them if you're also struggling with getting your N license (I passed with them in the rain!). I'm already considering them for getting my full license in the future. Good luck!

Great pointers were brought to my attention for practice that prepared me well and made a lasting improvement to my road skills despite my booking for a last minute crash course (bad pun not-intended as it was a very safe driving experience with zero crashes haha ). He listened to my main priorities of focus at the beginning & made instant adjustments to the mock run with those in mind, was well-versed with the testing routes and clearly addressed all my weaker maneuvers with practical feedback for correction. A thorough summary of the session along with pertinent advice is also emailed to you upon completion which I thought was nice to have for personal review afterwards. Another big kudos to the warm & friendly service from the kind ladies as well who were able to schedule me in on short notice based on a restricted availability, I could tell they cared to accommodate as best they could and the rates here are more than reasonable compared to others. All in all I'm very grateful to have come across RainCity and definitely plan to return for more lessons when getting ready for the class 5 in the future!

I enjoyed Rain's patients and the learning environment he provided, each lesson it proved efficient for my driving. He was sure to point out any bad habits or actions in a calming, non-judge mental manner. While driving on the road I think this is important, and one of the things I had feared would not happen before starting my lessons. At some point in time it didn't even feel like a lesson anymore, just a drive. The first time I met Rain I knew I would be comfortable learning from him, I really appreciate all the support I received. Thank you Rain! Doel assisted me with my pre-test lesson. He was able to ease my pre-test anxiety and correct any actions that wouldn't get me a pass. Doel also provided a wonderful learning environment that helped me get comfortable on the road. Expérience fantastique: Awesome driving school. I passed my N test on the first try :))) Doel is so great! He is very nice and super patient, which is very helpful for learning drivers. He offers a lot of good advice regarding technique and skills. I was comfortable enough to ask questions, even ones I was embarrassed of for not knowing the answer. Doel has a neat teaching style that helped me learn to drive very quickly, and I never felt out of my comfort zone. He stayed calm and collected, even when I was making mistakes. The company was so awesome for letting me use their car to practice on, as well as on the test. It was a huge help, as it would’ve been a hassle to find a different one (my family car is not a sudan, so it’s not easy to learn to drive on it). They are very accommodating, easy to contact, and overall very friendly! Most driving schools are fairly expensive, but Raincity is a great bang for your buck. I used the 9 lesson package that included a practice session right before my test so I was extra prepared. Thank you RainCity, thank you Doel!! 10/10 recommend.

Expérience fantastique: I took several lessons - off and on, a couple of lessons with Robert and half dozen with Doel recently this summer/fall (as well as a car rental mini lesson with Rain). DOEL They’re all good, but I found Doel’s instruction, clear precise and calm. His patience / natural calmness really lent itself to being a great instructor. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Doel to anyone who needs a brush up or is starting from the beginning. Awesome all around. By the end of the half-dozen lessons with Doel, I felt really comfortable and confident, so can only recommend! RAIN For my last lesson, it was a pre-test mini lesson car rental for my Class 7, and was with Rain. I can't say too much about it since my time with him was short, but he was great in that time. BOOKING The booking process and communication with Roni was also great. She was flexible and pretty prompt. Email and text. Easy to work with. VEHICLES The cars were all easy to maneuver and I felt safe driving under their supervision. Passed my test on the first go. So yay!
