TNT Motorcycling Ltd: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Totally worth the $700 cost. If you never rode a motorcycle it's a no-brainer. You will learn so much but also see if you even like motorcycles, or if that's for you. Instructors and the program they teach you are great, and you will learn a LOT in those 2 days. I thought it will be "everybody-will-pass-because-you-paid" class, but no, this is an actual riding school. Some people will struggle and maybe fail, and not because the instructors/program is bad, but because learning to ride a motorcycle is hard. Just like any new skill you learn. And motorcycling is one of the ones you really have to take seriously and have respect towards. It's not like your pottery, or cooking class. You also get the same bike you practiced on for you registry road test!
Negative experience: It's a SCAM! Don't come here if this is your first time riding a motorbike. I paid more than $700 and ride for about 14 hours in 2 days under the UV rays. They would ask you to pay another $225 if you can't keep with their expectations. It seems they don't care about their students to learn riding. I'm expecting that they will accommodate students who might need more time because IT'S THE FIRST TIME RIDING A BIKE, right? For them, it's about money.
We have been training new riders for 25 years and adhere and exceed the required training requirements for the province of Alberta. We understand that people get frustrated and lash out online when their skills do not meet the requirements to pass. Yes, riding a motorcycle requires dealing with the weather, sunny, wind, rain or cold. That’s Alberta in the summertime.
Fantastic experience: Took the rider elements course this last weekend, it was amazing! Instructors explained everything, and answered every question. My husband took a course with a different company in Edmonton… the differences between our two experiences are extreme. His only allowed 1 person to ride in the lot at a time and did most of the time sitting instead of riding. He also got no road time! He was lucky he already had previous riding experience as a child. Otherwise he wouldn’t have felt prepared for the road. TNT was the opposite! We were riding the whole time, gaining experience! and we got road time which was awesome! I left the course feeling excited and hopeful for my future rides! I can’t say enough good about the quality of this course! I will highly recommend TNT to everyone!
Fantastic experience: Great instructors, very helpful and very knowledgeable.
Fantastic experience: Took my beginners rider training here in May 2023. Ernie, JF and Chris and the entire staff were fantastic. Highly recommend. Looking forward to see you all out there riding!
Fantastic experience: Great school with top notch instructors. Did my fundamentals course back in 2018 and have nothing but good things to say.
