Young Drivers of Canada

Young Drivers of Canada, serving the Kenora community, stands as Canada’s premier choice for safe, confident driving education. With over 50 years of experience and more than 1.4 million graduates, this MTO-licensed institution is dedicated to instilling lifelong safety habits rather than just helping students pass a test. Their unique "Collisionfree!" approach focuses on proactive hazard perception, defensive driving techniques, and advanced evasive maneuvers, ensuring students are prepared for real-world road challenges.

Their Kenora location offers flexible learning options tailored to your schedule, including online self-paced courses, virtual classrooms with live instructors, and in-person sessions. A key differentiator is their commitment to 1:1 in-vehicle training, guaranteeing that every student receives individualized attention from provincially licensed instructors, with no sharing of vehicles with other learners. This personalized approach helps build muscle memory and confidence in critical skills like parallel parking and emergency braking.

Graduates of the Young Drivers program enjoy significant perks, including exclusive insurance discounts with major providers and an early road test opportunity, potentially saving hundreds of dollars and time. Beyond the license, students gain access to the YD Perks & Rewards program, featuring discounts on vehicles, entertainment, and automotive services. Whether you are a new driver seeking full certification, a learner needing extra practice, or a senior requiring assessment and retraining, Young Drivers provides the support, flexible payment plans, and expert instruction needed to achieve driving independence safely.
