Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional, disorganized, immature, and in many ways straight up criminal. Please consider other businesses for driving lessons. When asked if there was a fee for using the car for the road test we were told there was not. Then on the day of the test Mark did not show up even after multiple texts and calls, eventually we received a text saying Mark forgot and had scheduled other lessons. With lessons being booked out multiple months this is clearly extremely frustrating. While running around trying to find a last minute solution guess who we see? Mark giving his other lessons! Great. Then after not being able to find a solution we re-booked and got extremely lucky and found a cancellation by re-loading the booking page at 4am over and over until we found one. The coordinator had apologized and sent 25$ to try and make up for the cancellation fee and we booked the car to use again. Which was brought by the coordinator herself; because she is Marks damage control I guess? After passing the test Finally after all the stress and grief we saw Mark and he told us he was sorry and that he had been busy with lessons in Crofton… umm no man you were not because we saw you? And you were giving lessons in duncan? Maybe later or earlier in the day but not during the time of our previously scheduled test so why bring it up? Im under the impression that Mark lacks the ability to take accountability, hence his coordinator doing all the damage control. When we got home we received a text and were told; And I quote “Mark asked me to let you know that the charge for using his car for the test is $105” I'm sorry? Why were we not told this? What kind of business charges you $105 after never bringing it up previously? We will not be paying this new fee that we we’re not informed of and if anyone else experiences a similar issue I suggest you do the same.

Negative experience: I had quite a few lessons from mark and they were good but when it came to my test I waited there for him for 20 mins after my test time and by than he was no where to be seen so my test was postponed I was told he forgot and was in croften teaching when I had seen him past the test center driving with someone else at the time of my test, I was also not told about any fees to use the car for my test until 7 hours after taking my test I was told I owed 105$ to mark for using it. I was extremely disappointed after being stood up on the most important day and having these hidden fees

Fantastic experience: Mark is great, a professional driving instructor and gave me all the tools I needed to pass the road test. He give me clear, direct to the point instructions. The office manager, Erica, made it easy to book my sessions and take payment. Their training vehicles are clean, well maintained, and easy to use especially for learners. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: What a poor experience. I had booked lessons and confirmed via text the with the Coordinator that pickup would be at our home. Our lessons were scheduled to begin at 10: 00 am today. No one showed up. I get a text message asking for my address 10 minutes before the lesson. 23 minutes after the lesson was to begin the Coordinator is asking if she should send our instructor to our home? I then called and she says she or the Driving instructor Mark have NO RECORD of our confirmation on pick up. I proceed to resend her the text which was in the text thread. She still can't find it after I send and asks again as she now does not know if the instructor will be able to complete the lesson? I ask her if it is her responsibility as the Coordinator to have the needed information such as address, time, and location of pick up. She seemed unsure and at this point despite the fact that I had asked for written confirmation that I would be receiving driving lessons for the time I paid for she tells me she's now not sure? She also asks me " Treena, how can I send the instructor if I don't know where you live?". Wow , that is kind of the point???I tell her how incredibly unprofessional this is and ask if this is the type of experience we can expect going forward? Again she does not know if this will be the norm? Lots of attitude. Driving instructor shows up an hour late and I tell him I am not comfortable sending my child out with a company that is clearly so disorganized. They will apparently be refunding me. My daughter received these lessons as part of her birthday gift. I am really shocked at the lack of accountability. I would not reccomend. Please ask in comments if you wish to see proof of correspondence. Treena Miller

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with my experience. Mark was prompt, professional, calm and knowledgeable. That means a lot, having driven from Comox Valley for my training and road test. Everything went off without a hitch and I passed my Class 4 unrestricted easily. I can honestly say there is no way I could have passed without Mark's help. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Mark is very irresponsible person. I came for the lesson from Nanaimo to Duncan and waited for him 20 minutes. Didn't warn about cancel the lesson. I texted and phone him, but he did not answer. Mark even didn't say sorry. I I strongly do not recommend him.

Negative experience: When my son took driving lessons from Mark things seemed to go well. The issue occurred when the road test came up. He was supposed to have a refresher lesson before and use Mark's car for the road test. I confirmed this on the Friday, but then on the Monday, Mark did not show up. Not only that, any efforts that I have made to contact him since then have been completely ignored. I had prepaid for the service and now I am out the $150 for the services that we never received. Very disappointed. I can understand that it was just a mistake but the childish behaviour of hiding from it afterwards is really weak.

Fantastic experience: From November 9th to 12th I had the pleasure to have Mark as my driving instructor. From the first few minutes of driving under the supervision of Mark I started to gain confidence in my ability. Mark was always letting me know where to improve and very repetitive without making it feel like it was due to a lack of skill rather getting me ready for the test. Had it not been for his help I doubt I would have passed! Thanks again Mark for being so patient and helpful. If you need to brush up on some areas before your test I strongly recommend West Coast Driver training. Especially if you can get sessions with Mark.
