Fantastic experience: My instructor was Mr. Balvir, and he did a very great job. He was very friendly, patient, made sure that I knew my mistakes. He calmed my nervousness, and made me more confident in driving. Highly RECOMMENDED!!

Negative experience: Driver always ended the sessions early and was very unorganized

Negative experience: Driving instructors are very unreliable. They are either late, absent or don’t even acknowledge appointments. My daughter used them last year and they let her down many times. Find a better driving school.

Negative experience: My only interaction with this company happened yesterday while out walking in our neighbourhood with my wife. We were crossing West Ridge Drive at Hazeldean, we were in the cross-walk and we had the walk signal. We were half-way across the intersection when a driving instructor in a car marked "Ottawa Driving School" turned left off Hazeldean right in front of us. I made eye contact with the driver, so I know he saw us. I gestured to him and he just shrugged his shoulders and kept driving. If you are a parent reading this, please don't consider using Ottawa Driving School when your kids need driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: I had a really great experience! My driving instructor Ashish taught me everything and I passed my road test with no mistakes. 10/10!

Negative experience: Still dealing with this business through BBB. They actually responded to the complaint by saying they "Sold the business and are away on vacation"! Since my complaint, they have changed their website and removed some of my points of complaint. Interesting to note: other students done reviews and have had some of the same issues/complaints. My review remains. *DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL * Take your $ then you cannot book road sessions. You pay, do the theory class then try and book driving lessons, only "then" they advise you up to 4 wks to book an instructor. Class instructor says, "for xtra $200 you can bump ahead of the line". Endless circle of text messages, drivers respond at 11:48 pm, some drivers don't work weekends, there is NO list of instructors. Can't book more than one lesson at a time. Office staff give the run around, they came recommended. Sign up and be sorry - take your business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My instructor Balvir did such an amazing job when I did my hours with him. He is patient, friendly, funny and overall did such a bang up job. He never yelled or got upset if you made a mistake and did an excellent job at being professional while also making me feel comfortable and safe to drive. When you book your in car learning, BOOK BALVIR!!! :)

Fantastic experience: 8 out of 10 hours in the driving portion of the course and I already feel confident enough to drive with minimal assistance from my teacher! My teacher was always helpful whenever I had questions about my g2 test and stayed vigilant in correcting any mistakes I made driving on the road. I had a good experience with this driving course.

Fantastic experience: This was an excellent school to book your G test for. I had a wonderful experience with Majed as my teacher and not only did he help me recognize and fix my driving habits in order to pass, he as well treated me as a friend in order to make the experience less nerve-racking!

Negative experience: Driving instructor was on his phone during lessons, taught very little, wasted 6 of the 10 hours I paid for! Got a new and better instructor for last 4 hours but we couldn't get the wasted ones back and now we'll have to pay for more...with a different company for sure!!

Fantastic experience: Great program! The in-class segment was really well done and structured, my teacher was really awesome and nice! The in driving lessons are very informative and really shows you how you should be driving. My instructor Mustafa is really nice and knowledgeable, he has a very calming teaching style and makes sure that you're not stressed or nervous. His approach to teaching makes sure you understand everything perfectly and feel really ready to drive by yourself! 5 out of 5 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Just finished BDE course in Ottawa driving school , Kanata. * Well built web site with all necessary and updated information there, including nearest courses dates and prices. Registration is online as well. * They always answer the phone! * Teacher Sam was very professional, friendly and patient. Highly recommend!
