Negative experience: I missed an online class because of the floods in Montreal recently, and as a result, I couldn't attend the in-person class. After explaining why I was absent, they told me that I could have made it since I was marked as present in their systems, but I wasn't there. Last Saturday, the class was held in Repentigny. After spending 1 hour and 40 minutes in traffic, I arrived 12 minutes late and missed the class. It's important to know that during this time, I was on the phone with them, and they told me they would do something to allow me to attend and avoid fees, but in the end, she said no because they don't wait for students. However, for at least 20 minutes, I was on hold, and I continued my way because she told me in the conversation that it would be possible... In the end, I missed the class and incurred fees of $254, but I lost a total of over $500 because my classes had already been fully paid. Thank you, technical team, for stealing from me. Multiple attempts to call back went unanswered, and their voicemail is disabled. An outdated service unable to resolve the situation fairly.

Negative experience: This deserves a negative review. Out of respect for the individual, I will not name the name of the instructor of the online course for the 3-wheel motorcycle course on July 18, 2024, at 6:30 PM. Around 8:35 PM, after 2 hours of online class that I was attentively following and taking notes on my computer (yes, I am from the generation that takes notes on a computer and not on paper...), I was expelled from the online class by the instructor. His reason: He mentioned that I did not have the right to take notes and that I should exclusively listen (which I had been actively doing for 2 hours). I tried to rejoin the Zoom for a good ten minutes. He did not let me in to finish the remaining 30 minutes of the class. Let’s remember that taking notes is in the course guidelines in question. I am speechless about this and very dissatisfied. I have made a complaint via email, the office being closed in the evening (that’s normal). I also denounce the fact that during this class, the instructor expelled at least 4-5 other participants without valid reason. There certainly needs to be a reassessment by Technic regarding this instructor, who clearly applies quite a power-trip management of his 'exclude participant from Zoom' button. I do not recommend this at all, and I am waiting for a response from Tecnic for the next steps, since my practical class is next week.
