Young Drivers of Canada - Woodstock Driving School

Negative experience: The place was kinda crap, overpriced compared to others. The only reason I picked them was because there is no in class all online which I did during school hours. However I’ve come to learn many other places do this and there not special. If you ever plan on getting your license within the year this isn’t the place scheduling is SO BAD. They have scheduled WAYYY TOO MANY people to an instructor. And calling in to the office is also really bad half the time they don’t even anwser even during office hours. However my instructor JIM was the greatest guy ever he was very kind and informative and teached me so much. This man deserves a raise in every way. If you do end up using Young Drivers ask for Jim he’s the greatest. There’s my honest opinion and someone that complete it at the end of October 2024.

Fantastic experience: My son was trained with Mr. James Culcutt for the past year , he’s an excellent, honest man, fully devoted and dedicated to his work as trainer. He gave my son all the training he needed and gave him all the advice, encouragement and support he needed to get him on the road. Thank you so much for everything you did to my son . I really appreciate you work and help you provided to him.

Fantastic experience: I had Jim as my instructor, passed my g2 test first try thanks to his help. Absolutely would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had James Calcutt (Jim) as my driving instructor. He was very helpful and made sure I was more than ready for my final test!

Positive experience: Throughout my driving lessons and experience at Young Drivers I had Matt, and then Jim for my last couple lessons. Both instructors were kind, patient, and very helpful. They taught me excellent skills while being patient with the learning process. Thanks to both of them I passed my G2 on the first time! Overall, I had a good experience with Young Drivers. Booking for appointments was very easy and the people that answered the phone were always kind and helpful. I’d definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Honestly, it's not worth the money you can find more inexpensive driver's ed elsewhere. I started before most of my friends and finished last. Scheduling was an absolute nightmare, so I went ahead to take the test before finishing the program. When I did that, my instructor was not happy and she was hostile towards me during my final days of training. Overall not the greatest in my opinion. The course does teach you good things but I've never regretted spending that much money on anything.

Fantastic experience: Used YD for my g1 and g2 and my instructor (Matt) was amazing I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a chill dude you can learn from and have a good time with.

Negative experience: Tired of disgusting losers of Woodstock trying to drag people down. The review claiming Julie used the "r" word was someone who mocked people with disabilities and had his lesson cancelled due to his very public breakdown. So pathetic that the school allowed such a hostile person in their facilities to endanger everyone.

Negative experience: Worst driving experience of my life. I had Julie as an "instructor", who I could tell was clearly in a bad mood as soon as we met. She muttered insults at me the whole time, even calling me the "R" word, before straight up telling me "you're dumb". I pulled over & cancelled. Clearly their vehicles don't have dash cams or microphones like most driving schools, otherwise she wouldn't be verbally harassing & acting so unprofessional. Save your money & go to any other driving school.

Fantastic experience: I had Vicky as my instructor with young drivers. She was extremely patient and helpful towards me, she always has great words of encouragement to give, she helped me be as prepared as I could be for my road test, she’s the nicest lady ever and very helpful and genuine, I couldn't have asked for a better instructor, I wouldn't have for my license without her help. Thank you Vicky! Thank you young drivers!

Fantastic experience: I had Julie as my instructor. She is just simply amazing. Very professional yet friendly, soft spoken and very knowledgeable. She was prompt for all her lessons and patiently waited in the rain , while I used her car to take the test. Needless to say, I passed. Thank you Julie for all your help and words of encouragement. It was a pleasure learning from you.

Negative experience: Not good. Personnel were not very customer orinated. Will never go back. Second bad experience at the Woodstock location.

Fantastic experience: Had Julie as my guide, older new driver ( 33) getting my licence for the first time. She was excellent to work with, very informative and answered all my questions, along the way. Successfully got my G2 today

Fantastic experience: I was an older driver (33) getting my liscence for the first time. I was a super nervous driver. My instructor made me feel very comfortable and in the end made me a very confident driver. I passed my G2 with a perfect score!!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this school to everyone! My first contact on the phone was very helpful and informative and my in car instructor Julie was extremely patient and helpful. I used the G exit package and it was well worth the money spent. Julie was extremely calming in the car and gave concrete things to work on at the end of each lesson. I would wholeheartedly suggest using this driving school to anyone who wants to pass their G test.
