Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant experience of learning the practical driving practice sessions with mr. Param at Larry's defensive driving school. I am a new immigrant and was so lucky to pass my G test and G2 test for my wife on first try under his supervision. Though I had years of experience in driving, the road signs and regulations of ontario province is completly new to me but with his experience and expertise as a driving instructor, everything runs smoothly and I am thankful to Mr. Param's support, encouragement and guidance. I have known Mr. Pujji for several years as he has helped some of my friends and family members obtain their G2 and G driving licenses. Mr. Pujji is a very calm, extremely patient and polite teacher who is very easygoing and cooperative. His knowledge in this sector is mind-blowing and reflected in his teaching style. He is one of THE BEST instructors I have ever come across. Being an anxious & novice driver a few years back, Mr. Pujji's guidance has helped me become a responsible and confident driver in a short period. I think of Mr. Pujji every time I drive and know that it would not have been easy and possible without his exceptional support and guidance. Mr. Pujji showed me some very insightful tricks which have significantly helped me stay safe on the road. He took the time and explained some important concepts step-by-step which are now set in my brain. His techniques and reasonings on why certain things must be done certain ways were very logical and on point - such as shoulder checks to ensure blind spots are covered (He demonstrated the true meaning of blind spots while driving and why it is important to not just solely rely on the mirrors), uphill/downhill parking (He took the time and helped me understand the significance of curb and positioning of the wheels to ensure safe parking), parallel parking and high -speed lane changes (He showed me a step-by-step approach on lane changes which boosted my confidence while changing lanes on expressways) etc. I can go on and on with all the positives that Mr. Pujji brings to the table. Besides his remarkable teaching abilities, Mr. Pujji is also very friendly and supportive. Despite his busy schedule he took the time for my lessons and accommodated more lessons as and when needed. Words fall short to describe how thankful and blessed I am to have been one of Mr. Pujji's students! I would VERY HIGHLY recommend Mr. Pujji for anyone learning to drive. Fantastic experience: Firstly I'm a senior citizen and had my class "G" driver's license taken away and replaced with a G1 license because I made a mistake on the ministry's Clock Test. I needed a driving school in the west end of Ottawa experienced enough and patient enough to help retrain someone like myself. Param was my driver instructor he was really good explained everything in simple and clear terms while I was in training. I was very happy with his techniques and with the hourly rate this company was charging. Param helped me get my class G driver's license back and I couldn't be anymore happier. Thanks Larry's Defensive Driving School you and Param did a great job! I would highly recommend Larry's Defensive Driving School to anyone that needs help getting their license reinstated and most definitely with defensive driving training.

Negative experience: My Drivers License, Class G, was suspended due to Medical Reasons Section 47 (1) of the Highway Traffic act. The Drivers License will be reinstated when you file a Satisfactory Medical Report. I regret Larry's Driving School and DAC Medical Clinical. They seem to be more interested in money rather then my Success. The Occupation Therapist never reviewed my clinical report and I had to ask may times what were the results, only to find out that I have had passed. I did not pass the on road assessment. In order to try the test again I had to pay $1000.00 with no refunds. Even though I passed the clinical exam. I recommend that you shop around with other centers and not LARRYS DRIVING SCHOOL DAC MEDICAL. I will also make my Complaint with the MTO that they should be reviewed.

Negative experience: I had a very uncomfortable experience in this place. There was an old instructor, first of all, he was late and grumpy, but ok, people are not obligated to be nice, I could stand that. Then, he was supposed to take me to the driving test route, which he did not and I could not prepare for it. But the worse part was when I told him I was married to another woman and he asked me 3 times again if I said wife and not husband and gave me an extremely prejudgement look and did not say anything else, an apology or anything. It ruined my day. I was already nervous about the test and I did not have to experience homophobia from the instructor.

Negative experience: During business hours they don’t answer there phone and they insist you leave a message so that they may call you back. I asked for private lessons for 20 hours and didn’t get past the reception because she did not understand the inquiry. Seems they don’t offer private lessons along with good customer service.

Negative experience: I completed almost everything and the virus took its toll on the business therefore it was shut down and I was told by the old man there which is about probably 71 years old who was my driving instructor that I could come back and finish when they reopened. Then I call and text and they tell me I'm not in a system anymore because it's been over a year when all I had was one sheet left of the in-class work everything else was done and I have my test coming up and he told me no you're not in our system so I'm going to retry and ask again if he can get his information correct then I will change my rating immediately as for now I feel stolen from
