We understand how frustrating technical issues can be, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the system malfunction that occurred last December. Technical problems are rare but regrettable. Unfortunately, as required by the SAAQ, we must have proof that students successfully completed their evaluation - Module 5 before we can deliver the attestation which allows them to receive a Learner’s Licence - class 5. Due to the system malfunction on the evening of December 21st, the grades for the students who were taking the evaluation that evening were not saved. Retaking the test was necessary to ensure compliance with government regulations and fairness to all students.We would also like to take a moment to clarify the SAAQ’s requirements regarding online theory lessons. For the course to be valid with the government authorities (SAAQ), we are obliged to ask you to have a functional microphone and activate your camera throughout the whole course. Otherwise, we will not be able to attest your presence during the course and you’ll have to take it again. This ensures we can confirm the student’s presence and participation. If the student is not visible for the full duration of the lesson, not paying attention or if tools such as FreezingCam are being used, we are obligated to request that the lesson be retaken to meet the SAAQ’s requirement.Lastly, while we value our relationships with clients and aim to provide excellent service, we are equally committed to maintaining a respectful environment for both our students/clients and staff. Verbal abuse, such as yelling or using offensive language, can not be tolerated.
