Fantastic experience: I took the 10 hour course with talat. She’s a really good instructor and makes you feel safe and comfortable whenever she’s with you. I learned a lot from her since I never had experience with driving.

Fantastic experience: First of all, the booking process is such a breeze and all the support staff make everything work amazingly. When my in car lessons were booked, the times did not work out and I called, and they were more than happy to fix that for me!! Thank you so much As for the in car lessons, Simon is an ABSOLUTE GEM of a person. He makes you feel not like you're on a test, but as if you're goin for a nice Saturday afternoon drive with your friends. But at the same time, is a AMAZING teacher. If all of my teachers were this good maybe I'd be good at school haha. I cannot thank him enough for not only having the knowledge, but also being able to teach it in a relaxed and comfortable way. Fantastic experience: 100% satisfaction rate here! Paul was my instructor and he was incredible, I would recommend him to anyone. He was extremely confident, supportive, calm, competent and helpful! Never once did I feel uncomfortable driving with Paul. Any mistakes I made he correctly quickly and calmly. I heard so many horror stories about friends drivers instructors but I was amazed with mine at AAPEX I’m a late 20s female getting my license for the first time so I really appreciated my instructors demeanour. I was nervous to be practicing getting my license so late but Paul was incredibly accepting about that and never made any off comments about it. I did the lessons and booked the road test with my AAPEX instructor and happily passed!

Fantastic experience: I just finished my last in-car lessons with aapex. My driving instructors name was Simon. I could go on about all the positives he would bring to each lesson. Simon made the effort to make me feel comfortable in the car every lesson as well as making close connection with every student. He would let me choose what to practice the most on at our lessons as i felt that i needed more practice in some areas. Simon is very friendly, understandable, and most importantly the person who is helping me and many other civilians stay safe on the road! I couldn’t thank Simon enough for making this big moment in my life feel so much more easier! I would also like to thank Dan, my in-class teacher for teaching me all about the safety hazards, weather conditions and so much more. Dan was a very positive, funny, and great teacher! i appreciate all the work he does in making smarter drivers! Thank you Simon and Dan and Aapex for everything you do to make me and others safe while on the road!

Negative experience: Emailed them through the website contact with a question - almost two weeks later no response. Can’t imagine how bad the service is once they get your money. This is a red flag so I’m looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Jaideep is a true man, at first I stressed didn’t know how to drive his car because it was different compared to my car multiple times I said I was going to reschedule my test because I didn’t feel ready but he told me not to and today I went for my license and passed. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have been confident in myself so if your doing for your test do not stress you will do good.

Negative experience: Do not use this company. Terrible. Awful public relations. After spending all the money my daughters course was still never completed and to make it worse they blamed us for their incompetence Use Gibsons better prices and better service.!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Jaideep is the best driving instructor! He makes sure you know everything before you take your test, and is really good at explaining his concepts. I wouldn’t have felt as confident for my g2 without his help. Highly recommend him!!

Negative experience: I was going 105 on the QEW, where the speed limit was 100 and an Aapex car with a student and instructor attempted to pass me, but once she got beside me, she failed to continue to accelerate. She sat there for quite some time while traffic stacked up behind her. It didn't help that the instructor was on her phone the whole time.

Fantastic experience: I had Stacy as my driving instructor and I couldn’t have been more lucky. Within 4 lessons I went from practicing in a parking lot to passing my G2 road test today! She’s very kind, patient, knowledgeable and really knows how to make you feel comfortable. She always went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident and ready for the upcoming test. I can’t thank her enough!

Positive experience: Did a G2 Prep course with these folks. First session with Diane was good although practicing at night made things a little harder. My second session was scheduled with Diane again for the 2.5 hours before my G2 roadtest, but the email they sent me was apparently wrong. The second lesson was only supposed to be 1.5 hours, and finding this all out right before my test was stressful. Thankfully they managed to get Scott to do the lesson with me before my test and he was an amazing instructor (even teaching me a trick to make parallel parking easy). I'd highly reccomend asking for Scott if you are able when booking with AAPEX

Fantastic experience: Had DAN as my Aapex in class and in car instructor and he was great! Made the concepts in class entertaining keeping most of the class very engaged and for the in car lessons he was very helpful and I passed (G2) without a hitch!

Fantastic experience: Had my G2 exam today after practicing with Stacey twice. Well, no surprise; I passed! Throughout the process, Stacey was both cheerful and welcoming, turning driving practice into fun endeavors rather than stressful things. I have zero regrets picking Aapex, and am truly happy with the outcome.

She was very polite and allowed me to learn many new driving skills and allowed me to correct any bad habits or mistakes that I made. Tina was great with communicating and she creates a friendship-like bond with her students. After my lessons with Tina, I feel confident that I will pass my road test. Fantastic experience: Currently in the middle of my driving lesson with Aapex, with Scott Moore as my instructor, and it had been an amazing experience so far. Today he guided me as we drove in the highway, which I wasn’t expecting seeing that’s it was my first time. He is really confident with my driving skills and I can thank him for that.

Fantastic experience: Overall a very good experience with AAPEX. Today I got my G license ! Scot was my instructor and he is an amazing individual. He comes with a lot of patience and always makes you cheerful during the classes. He gave me lot of tips and corrected my common mistakes. AAPEX in general from my experience is very professional. You have a website where as a student I can login and see the upcoming classes and pay the fees. Reception is good attending the calls. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Did the 5 private driving lessons to prepare me for my g2 test. My instructor was David and he was awesome . Very informative and helped me learn parallel park, 3 point turn everything you need to know for your drive test. I successfully passed my road test today thanks to his help! You can also rent there car and get a hour of driving prior to your test which is super helpful . Definitely recommend aapex and instructor David to anyone who needs help with driving.

Fantastic experience: I did the 5 private driving lessons with Leslie and she was awesome ! Very helpful and informative, super sweet lady. You can rent cars if you don’t have one of your own for your drive test so I rented my instructors car to use for the test, you also get a hour of driving prior to your test and they drive you home. But Leslie really helped me prepare for my test and thanks to her I have my g2 ! Really recommend aapex they are great .

Fantastic experience: I did my driving lessons with aapex because I didn't have anyone to teach me. They were amazing. The in class portion was very informative and I believe was definitely needed in making me a better driver. My instructor was Bart and he made me feel very comfortable from Day 1. Would highly recommend anyone learning to drive to go to Aapex!

Fantastic experience: I would like to say “Thank you!” to AAPEX!!! I really enjoyed my online classes with Melissa, she is great! It’s very convenient to study from home! Thanks Dan for making our classes fun! Also, my driving classes were excellent! Even though, I had different instructors, Simon was the perfect coach and mentor for me! He has the unique ability to explain things properly, so you can actually understand and do it right. He is making the roads safer by teaching his students (!) and we will keep all these advices forever and apply on practice every day. I also booked a G2 prep and found it extremely helpful! Simon gave me many tips on how to succeed on the test, and I am 95% of his students who successfully passed and got the license from the 1st trial. He is very patient and answered all my questions. I am thankful for all the confidence on my test and for my driving skills! Thank you again!

Negative experience: I started my driving lessons late July After I completed the in-class lessons before Covid. I told my instructor to book my G2 test as soon as possible on my First driving lesson. After a couple lessons, he tells me that he cannot book me my G2 test until I finish my driving lessons since they were having technical issues. But once I finished my driving lessons I was told that they were booked until February next year. I’m frustrated because I was given excuses to why they couldn’t book me when I requested them to book me. Now I have to wait 6 months to get my G2 test for my license??

Negative experience: Just a waste of money and time. When I cancel the class 2 -3 hours early at that time they said it’s fine when the class time passes they texted me by saying I have to pay cancellation fee. But I never mentioned anything when there instructors cancel my class 5 minutes before my lesson. Such a awful experience. Will never recommend anybody to Aapex .

Negative experience: I had Dan for all my in class lessons; he was great. I wish I had someone like him for my in car lessons. I started with Stimit as my driving instructor. He was really impatient and would easily get frustrated. He lacked the encouragement and positive demeanour necessary for teaching young people how to drive. I called and asked to switch instructors. I was then assigned to Tammy. She was alright. She spent most of the lesson on her phone; however, she did a good job teaching me the basics in things like parallel parking, uphill/downhill parking, and 3-point turns. My biggest issue with her was her inability to show up on time. She would arrive 15 minutes late to a 2 hour lesson and then drop me off 15 minutes early. I would only get 75% of my scheduled lesson. When I mentioned this to her, she would try to deny it. Due to the coronavirus shutdowns, my test was delayed. Now, 8 months later, I noticed that Tammy did not instil necessary driving habits into me like others did to my brother or sister when they took Aapex. Habits like blind spot checking when turning, driving in the centre of the road/not accidentally straying into other lanes, etc, were never perfected, as she never noticed or said them. As a result, I am struggling to implement those into my driving now, not when I had the certified instructor.

Negative experience: Have emailed business twice for information as I work nights and prefer to do most communication that way. Have yet to hear back from anyone and am now looking for another place to assist me.

Negative experience: Don't waste your time with this place. And if you do, be smart and don't pay up front for all your lessons. Otherwise, you have to deal with mandatory "cancellation fees" if you try to reschedule. The reason I had to sit down and write this review: if you try to ask for a refund on lessons you paid for upfront but didn't take, you're not getting your money back! (which has been my personal experience so far trying to get money I stupidly paid up front for lessons I couldn't take due to a health issue). Here's the long story: A little over a month ago (July 27th), I called asking for a refund on the last few lessons I couldn't do due to some health issues (really the joke is on me for paying for all the lessons up front. I hope this hard-earned lesson helps other young and naive people make a better decision while they research different driving schools). ANYWAY, after 3 weeks passed and I saw no signs of the cheque anywhere, I called again to ask what's going on. It turns out, they hadn't even sent it! I was promised it would be done that very same day I called. Fast forward to a week after. Again, no signs of the cheque so I called again. At this point, I already know I'm just wasting my time and I'm never going to see my money. I was told my the envelope was "returned by Canada Post" because my postal code "was wrong." Once again, they promised to send it ASAP. A week later (yesterday) I called again. Honestly at this point I'm just calling to see what ridiculous excuses they come up with on the other end of the line, I've just accepted I got ripped off. The customer service rep didn't even bother to talk to me and just shot me off to a different line (without telling me who she was forwarding me to). Found out it was the bookkeeper. She said the cheque was ready to go and it just needed to be signed by the manager who still hadn't come in that day. A puzzling addition to this saga, since the cheque was supposed to have been sent after I gave them the right postal code, you know, a week earlier. The bookkeeper said she could return the money straight to the credit card I used to pay for the lessons. I agreed. She said she'd get to it right away and I'd get the e-receipt soon. Of course, I didn't get any such refund, or the email, and I know I'm never going to see that money again. All I can do is warn anyone and everyone considering to take lessons from this scammy, backwater mom-and-pop disaster that calls itself a business! Just go to Young Drivers and save yourself the disrespect and the headache of dealing with these people. P.S.: I'm looking forward to what the next excuse will be next week, and the week after that and so on, forever until we all grow old and gray and sad and bitter. My guesses for the next lineup of excuses are: -The office dog ate my cheque -The manager had a sudden bout of retrograde amnesia and forgot his name and the concept of cheques so legally he couldn't sign it -The bookkeeper accidentally used the cheque as a cracker for her Tim Hortons chilli and she ate it anyway because it probably adds flavor and spice to an otherwise bland lunch -The mailman slipped and dropped my cheque, and only my cheque, over Niagara Falls -Every time they try to write my cheque their pens run out of ink -Someone mistook it for a scrap of paper and doodled the peeing Calvin so the piss lands right on my name -Someone accidentally blew their nose with it, used it as an ashtray, or as toilet paper -The cheque had a midlife crisis and had to take some time off to "work through some stuff" and "find itself". It gets a divorce, goes to Costa Rica, starts dating a 20 year old, buys a Corvette, gets a tattoo of a giant cobra on its back and calls its teenaged sons who hate him "dude" and "bro".

Negative experience: One of the quizzes for the home links booklet is completely full of pop ups and spam, I tried it on two devices and to try and fill it out all I got was “you have one a free Samsung s7” “you have one extra spins on our online casino”. Gross that you can charge people hundreds of dollars for a course and have a booklet full of typos and links on your website for said booklets to fill out these quizzes that are full of unclosable pop ups and spam. I wonder if you guys get paid for clicks, this is gross

Fantastic experience: Great Dan made the in class interesting. I felt confident in my driving skills after spending 9 hours in car with Amie.
