Fantastic experience: I recently went thru the Z endorsement course. Shawn White was our instructor. I highly recommend him, and if you get to have him as a teacher, you will be in good hands. He has a down to earth manner and is great at helping his students feel comfortable. Fantastic experience: If you decide to do your truck training through TTCC and you are around the Cambridge area, request Sean White as your instructor! Sean made the process of training and preparing for the testing so easy and stress free and I was more prepared with him than I would have been anywhere else. He is by far the best instructor at TTCC and any student he teaches should consider themselves lucky!

Fantastic experience: I PASSED ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT. I had two instructors who trained me really hard and really good. I’d like to give a special thank to Mr. White, Shawn and Mr. Reez for deliberately teaching me everything I need to know about the truck, not only for the test, but for the real world as well. I had come a long way from a non-experience manual driver, and no knowledge about a truck whatsoever,to become knowledgeable with trucks and trucking industry. Negative experience: the class scheduling is so bad, I had to spend 2-3 months just waiting for my class to finish. One weeks class are done in two days, since 3 hours practical training is equal to 8 hour class. And if classes are cancelled Nobody calls you and says classes are cancelled for next week. There is no communication, they do leave one week gaps just because of no trainer or broken equipment. Whoever owns this school is making a ton of money and all the equipment are so bad condition. Really unfair for students and govt that fund the tuition. If anybody wants to join HEO course the location is good but the equipments are bad ( just check out the equipment before you decide) The owner or upper management do not spend a dime on new equipment, i think their only expense is diesel. For AZ course i think the better location are hamilton, kitchner or guelph since the exams are done in those town and you have an idea of the road. there is no AZ roadtest in cambridge and most of the turns near the schools are roundabouts, you dont get much practice turning on regular streets. I had to drive basically to another town to learn proper street turns. the school really needs to invest in new equipments and better costumer service, with all the money they charge.

Fantastic experience: Rebuilding my review here as I passed the road test on my first try, thanks to Shawn, Reez (instructors) Trevor and Kevin as fill-ins towards the end, and Laura Bennet on management for ensuring my classes were day to day the best she could, Reez was there during my road test, all during hurricane beryl, what a day, it was a crazy experience and I am now at peace, time to look onward towards my new career. Thanks to Bruce he held my 2 week in class portion, he made the classroom fun n easy Thanks to Shawn, a real great guy. He defiantly is a superstar. You simplified n made it easy for my brain to catch the concept of driving the big rig you know shifting up shifting down and drilling those dang air breaks in my mind Thanks to Reese, for being patient with me and teaching me how to drive a manual truck in a little under 3 months Thanks to Laura, She was the glue to this whole puzzle keeping my schedule in line, helping me breeze threw the course in know time I really appreciate all help thanks again everyone.

Fantastic experience: This school has been an experience. The in class portion was pretty good the instructor Chris was very approachable and was great to get along with. Fast forward to the scheduling section of the course. The scheduling was a little frustrating, the person at the Cambridge office wouldn’t work with my full time job schedule. After multiple conversations she would only give me one day a week. Shortly thereafter she was removed from the office and Robin took over. Robin was very understanding of my schedule and did everything she could to make the schedule work. Driving portion: I got to work with Shawn White as my driving instructor. Shawn is the most invested and passionate person I’ve ever seen. He will go above and beyond for you. Shawn will do anything and everything in his power to see you pass. Truly amazing teaching.

Negative experience: Do not give them your money it took months to get my certificates after completing the course, they didn't have the equipment to do all the training I signed up for. I had to get the BBB involved to get a refund on the equipment that they advertise and didn't have. Scheduling is a nightmare, if you have any commitment other then this they will schedule you for when your not available. This company has obviously screwed people over in the past the equipment has broken glass in it so some one has taken their revenge by destroying the equipment. The only good part of this company is the trainer, he was knowledgeable and a good teacher. Management just sucked. Just don't go here they are crooks.

Negative experience: I could not be more disappointed in my choice to have chosen to take my DZ course with this company. specifically the Cambridge campus has been a nightmare from beginning to not yet end. Starting with being talked into upgrading my program I was initially go to take to the package with the unlimited simulation use at the campus to learn to shift "double clutch " before even getting into a truck. Turns out after I paid the campus office was actually closed and I couldn't get in to use the simulator until after my second or 3rd day of in truck lessons. Totally not the point of the upgrading of the package not to mention the times I did get in were spotty at best and the woman running the office was always needing to leave or not there when I went. I was 2 days into my online portion before managing to get ahold of someone and find a place I could actually go pick one up before class the next morning. I had issues getting my in truck hours because we would always have to stop and figure out some new problem like how they would double book students so someone would show up expecting class and there's was actually canceled or how a few hours I got in for simulation counted as an in truck day so that was figured out while I was supposed to be driving and learning.. these situations cause a great deal of stress to a student while trying to learn new skills. Those missed hours we then made up by me have to call into work for the day because we'll of course my road test was the very following day.. we had no truck in good enough condition for the road test so we spent mine and another students time heading to another campus to get a usable truck. Another stress builder right before test day in a truck I had next to no experience in. I didn't pass I grinded a couple too many gears on the test. That was in October 2023 I went in for a simulation day and at the end requested my test re booked December rolls around and iv gotten no confirmation so I call and txt the woman I had been always in contact with or for the most part. I get a reply I don't work there anymore... ok so I call TTCC and no one seems to know what's going on my re test was never booked. I finally get a spot for January 18th. The day rolls around iv been driving my dads little 5 speed manual truck since October for what practice I can get in and I'm ready... 7am call truck blew the drive shaft my test is canceled... ok they say and Phil I was bringing the automatic too... what? "Yea doesn't matter for your DZ" it doesn't shoe on your cvor that's only AZ ... um ok well whatever bring me the manual I'm ready no can't the tires are cooked... and now I'm still waiting I won't even get into getting hung up on by someone who claims to be upper management and been with the school for years. There is so much more but this is long enough. Il update it when I get my license. Worst money spent ever! Oh I suppose I should add this massive delay cost me a job with the city that was lined up if I had the license In time.

Negative experience: Horrible school! My husband has been trying to get his DZ since beginning of September. They talked us into spending another $1000 for the simulator that was always available they said. But then we learn after we buy it that the campus isn't even open to do it for weeks. Then finally when it does open everytime he went or called to get in no one was available for it. He went for his test in middle of October on a standard and failed. Then didn't get him another test till middle of January. Then he learns from the instructor that he didn't need to do the test in October on a standard truck and could do it on an automatic one which he would have then passed in October. Then comes around test day in January, the truck doesn't work a few hours before the exam and had to cancel it. So now they cant get him in till end of February. When we talk to someone 'higher' up on the phone she just makes excuses. This is ridiculous

Fantastic experience: The instructors did a great job for the whole course follow the guidelines of MTO and teaching best driving practices. Chris and joe did a lot of help training me on manual, I was hesitant to drive Manual earlier. They taught me safe and easy way of making right and left turns through intersections. Chris has good knowledge of schedule 1 and internal inspection while joe taught me safety in driving. Lauren did a great job managing classes and while busy every time she managed a solution for me. Overall it was a great experience of getting trained under experienced instructors will help in my future driving. Thank you

Positive experience: Successfully completed my AZ training great trainers NINDY & CHRIS took time to make sure students fully understand M.E.L.T & SCHEDULE 1 and have the patience with students to get you prepared for the ROADTEST. I'm currently on my 4th week of HEAVY EQUIPMENT and so far so good I can honestly say I'm getting ALL the proper training from Alex. Negative experience: “You get what you paid” customer service is a word they have never heard of. The clerks are just rude and not trained to assist students. Pay the extra 100-200 to go to where you’ll have proper training support.

Fantastic experience: Just finished the AZ program here this week, and received my licence after passing the exam on my first try. Came into this program a complete beginner. The instructors have a lot of industry experience and have plenty of knowledge to pass on. No complaints what so ever. I mainly have Kevin to thank for preparing me for the exam and ultimately driving a truck. Great guy, had a very good experience at the school. The head office staff and campus manager are always helpful and were a pleasure to work with. Renee was always friendly and helpful. I really appreciate all the work she did while I was there. I would recommend this school and certainly this location to anyone interested in getting an AZ licence.

Fantastic experience: If you are interested in upgrading your license to an AZ or a DZ I highly recommend Transport Training centre of Canada. I resently just passed and upgraded my license to a DZ. All of the instructors know what they are talking about and will give you the tools to pass your road test with confidence. They work with you and will spend extra time on areas that you feel need more work. This is a good place to go if you want to pass your road test and upgrade your license!!

Negative experience: Terrible school to go to. At first theyre unorganized and communication isn’t great. walking in and being thrown into the classroom with instructors who expect you to have a knowledge of trucks/truck driving is over whelming and adds to the confusion. was told to come in 4 hours before my sechdueld road test (which was postponed a full month) to do only 1 hour of driving and sit and wait for the rest. Instructors care more about being your friend rather then actually instructing you and making sure you’re okay and ready for your test. it’s understandable that it’s a driving school and the schooling aspect is never great, but because this license determines jobs, the cost for it, and the road test is 10x harder then a G2 or G, more time should be put into making sure students are confident and really prepared for their test. Instructors also need to be consistent with what they tell students. i was told 3 different things from 3 different instructors regarding inspections and pre-trip planning. As i’m writing this review, my instructor, rather then helping me before my test (which i’ve asked) he is speaking with a friend about random topics. My case rested.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for a DZ training course in February 2018 looking for something new and different to do. I walked into TTCC with ZERO truck driving experience and a bit nervous if it was something that I could even do at all. As of today Match 29th I have my DZ licence in my wallet and I successfully passed the road test for a new job that I start on Monday. I got exactly what I wanted from the course, 1. Learn the Drive 2. Get a job. I learned on a manual which happens to be the type of truck my new employer operates. I had the opportunity to work with all three of the trainers, Kevin, Brian and Dan. All of the them played a part in building the confidence I needed to successfully get my licence and be prepared for what my employer asked me perform during the hiring process. A special shout out to Kevin who taught me from scratch on day one. By day two he had me comfortable enough hit the road. Renee and Marcy were also great helping me with schedule conflicts as I had some unexpected events during my training. I They were always willing to chat whenever I came to class I enjoyed my time at TTCC very much and feel that I made friends doing it. I am considering upgrading to a AZ sometimes in the future .

Negative experience: The only postive reviews posted here are employees. This is shameful.the students don't get what they pay for and if you go to head office about it they will find a reason to ban you frm campus, iam a student till Feb 4th. But banned frm the campus because myself and now other students are also wanting the time we lost back.( rumors has it i was the one going around telling ppl to laywer up and Sue apperently and even waiting at the drive test for students lmao single mom of 3 kids busy life. Cause I got time for that) Yes we filled out the logs according to our time secd but we are told if we don't the instructor don't get paid so it had to be the same, so being worried to make someone angry and do as Ur told by the instructors we did.. if the truck is empty or needing fuel and it's Ur drive time. U loose that time off Ur driving time I lost hours due to fueling aslo. Each student is given 3 hours of drive time. Log says yard work 1 hours 15 mins .meaning secd 1 backing and coupling and airbreaks. 4 weeks in truck I coupled 3 times .. and backing 5 times. Secd 1 we were told to study at home, these 4 things make up 80 percent of ur test. Results frm the students test show we are severly lacking this. Had a instructor down frm head office he seen it himself. But because I stood up for myself once we all realized how he does the 3 hours and it should be this way of course we knew we wouldt pass we were not educated on the biggest parts to pass the test.. Sure some students pass az but not many dz is passing. Needs less knowldge . How can you study a truck at home and how to perform when u don't have a truck.secd 1 was only ever done once with us that was when a instructor came down frm home office. Before that we were told this is homework study. Well how can u study the steps needed to take involves truck and truck components . I been blamed for sleeping with a instructor, because he would work with me on our free personal time, the school it's self was very dirty until I made a formal complaint, as only a instructor would clean it on his free time. I would clean it myself.so I didt get sick and I can't stand dirt. So much i only used a male washroom for the inclass part of school. So after I complained for issuing me a truck i never drove during my training with diff parts than I was shown on the 2 I drove and was told of the difference between the trucks 815 the morning of my test while at the drive centre, wast even allowed to drive the truck to the test to get a feel for it , as well being told u get to drive the unit to the road test as it's normally a mth after Ur last day before u actually go to the test centre. That too is a lye. Only way u drive if Ur first on the test day. Stay away folks, they dont use actual proof (test results) to back up the students reports to campus instead they blame a student for making issues. When Sadly all we wanted was the time we paid for that was wasted instead of doing what is urgent to pass. failing due to one of the 3 steps we should have been taught and shown not one or 2 students but most of us all failed for one of the same 4 reasons that we were told don't worry bout it and or study at home. Never driving tho cause all our time is spent driving. Driving is 20 percent of Ur test .. 80 percent is the other 4 major parts they fail to teach. Sadly because we all frauded our time sheets so our instructors got paid, makes the student a lyer and out to make teouble, of course we do what we are told. No student would complain if there wast a issue. Once u fail they want more money, 120 a hr. Why would you pay the same school u paid for a course that didt educate you enough to pass. fail over and over, test results showing for the same reasons clearly, I can pay a diff place to tech me what iam paying for and actually get educated on what's needed. As the rest of the students comments state, Stay away. The postive comments are frm employees (lmao) there option is bias. The trucks are falling apart and not maintained. Stay away in my option .

Negative experience: Please people do not go to this school. It is a complete waste of time and money. The only thing this school cares about is money. The equipment is in shambles and run down. There is zero communication with the students. I beg you not to attended this place.

Negative experience: DON'T GO HERE!!! Their are three things that they don't care about, their students, their instructors, and their equipment.

Negative experience: Incompetent school, and trainers who don't show up to training appointments. Trucks are in very poor condition.
