I had tried 4 other instructors before finding him, and he’s the BEST I’ve worked with. His teaching is super systematic, every lesson feels well-organized, and I always learned something new. His teaching methods made driving concepts easy to learn, and I especially found his usage of drawing on an iPad to be very useful to my learning. Going from no driving experience to achieving my N in 6 sessions with him, my experience can attest to the quality of his lessons. As an instructor, Alan is very nice, and his dedication towards his student's goals and success is very much evident. So despite my horrendous schedule and fast-approaching road test, he was still able to accommodate to my needs. Overall, this driving school is hands-down, THE BEST!

Fantastic experience: The ‘Good Job’ comment from the examiner said it all :) It was my second attempt after relocating to Canada, and I failed the first one with another instructor. Alan was then referred by a friend, and amazingly checked ALL the boxes of everything I was looking for. He is very clear with all the instructions, remains calm and gentle always which definitely helped A LOT with my nerves. My confidence was shattered after failing the first time, but just a couple of lessons with Alan built it back up! I tend to make silly mistakes when I am nervous, but not once did Alan lose his patience. On top of correcting them, Alan also gave clear explanations of the rationale behind each move, which is crucial for my learning instead of just memorising the moves. I improved a lot on speed control, merging, and especially pullover and parallel parking (which I’m sure is many students’ nightmare). The car was also another thing to consider as that’s the vehicle I would be using in the exam. It’s easy to manoeuvre, very comfy, and super well-maintained. The hand brake also comes on automatically after parking, so one less thing to worry about in the exam! All in all, I would recommend Alan to anyone without any hesitation. THE BEST instructor I’ve ever had! And OMG the feeling of seeing that ‘Pass’ box checked after the exam was exhilarating!

Fantastic experience: I have a bunch of great things to say about Alan's driving services. However, I just want to extend my gratefulness towards him once again for fully supporting and guiding me during these 10 lessons. Alan is very knowledgeable in the field, and his teaching methodology was just OUTSTANDING! - Being a kinesthesic learner with no experience, I could easily learn about roads, strategies to pull over at easy, traffic lights and many tips and traits about driving that I never heard before from other instructors (as I took a few lessons with two other instructors in the past). Alan uses a tablet to clearly show you roads through Google maps or, even better, he draws roads and visually exemplifies concepts to explain driving rules and even better highlight any mistakes. Alan is quite punctual and will never run late or cancel any class unless really needed. For the last 4-5 lessons, we did mock exams at the end of every lesson (1.5-2hrs each), which were very useful for me to know my areas of improvement. Besides all this, his teaching method is so effective that he was able to teach me even in different ICBC driving center areas and highways once. Overall, Alan went over my expectations, and I have no hesitation to recommend his driving services to anyone seeking a great driving instructor. Additional feedback: He carries a very positive and friendly energy, which allows your learning experience to go pretty smooth. He always pushed me to be confident about myself when driving, and that was also appreciated. Thanks so much, Alan !

Fantastic experience: Guys, if you are confused about which driving school to choose, go with Bluesky. I have taken classes from three different driving schools. For me, the experience was fantastic not only because I cleared the test on my first attempt but the tutor was super friendly. More importantly, he spoke good English, trust me Guys, if you want to understand the rules properly, you might need someone who can explain everything in detail and who is patient enough to help you out regardless of how many times you ask the same thing (but don't be too stupid). Lastly, the car they had was super clean and comfortable. Go and give it one try! See it for yourself and let me know.
