Fantastic experience: Brave driver training is definitely one of the longer, more time consuming drivers ed programs; however, it’s worth it because the program allowed me to pass my drivers test on the first try and acquire skills and knowledge that I wouldn’t have had otherwise. I had Coach Phoenix and she was amazing and a very patient, personable, and professional instructor.

I got to pass my road test on the first attempt only by taking few classes with them :) James was very helpful and attentive during the sessions; he is super fun so the trainings are very chill and relaxed. You are in very good hands to learn how to drive well in Canada (I wish more people take the sessions…) but do your part. Practice and you will get confident about it, even if you think some of parts of the road test are unnecessary, they have a reason to be… flow with it.

Fantastic experience: I am an experienced driver from another country, and I had to unlearn a few driving norms to get my Nova Scotia Driver’s License. Instructor James was professional, and communication was easy. He was excellent at teaching the driving skills that would help you pass your Road Test. He also taught me skills that would improve my efficiency when turning corners and doing the reverse parking. I went to another driving school before that was just adequate. However, I would give James and the Brave Driver Training School 41/2 to 5 stars rating. Also, the vehicle used for the driving lessons was very easy to handle.

Fantastic experience: Probably the best driving school in Halifax! Started with them back in September last year shortly after passing the written exam. I took the 35+ hour course which included both online material as well as the in-person training. The course really helped me define and create a foundation about what it means to drive from someone who had never been behind the wheel in their life. 9 Months later, I pass the road test and am happy to say that every expense put into this program was 110% worth it! Everything about this system just works, they really care about giving people the best material and are open to constructive criticism and feedback. I could've only wished to have taken the course sooner as I was previously very hesitant to learn how to drive in the first place. But this program gave me the confidence boost to proceed and challenge myself. If you are a new driver or someone who has never been behind the wheel before, once again, I HIGHLY recommend the 35+ hour course. Even someone who has a good idea or background on what you need to know before driving you will still learn new things taking the program.

Fantastic experience: We used Brave Driver Training for our daughter (who passed her driving test with flying colours!) recently and can't say enough good things about them. First off, James is the real deal. A great trainer, coach and overall human being. Our daughter enjoyed his approach to helping her tune her skills. Braves vehicles are well taken care of and a great size for a new driver. They always showed up on time or communicated with us if there were any changes. Brave was recommend by a member of our Facebook subdivision group and I'm so glad they shared the endorsement now.
