Fantastic experience: My instructor, Gary, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and informative. During our driving lessons he taught me how to drive properly according to the class 5 road test rubric which allowed me to go into my test immediately after our lessons finished, fully prepared, and I passed on my first attempt. As well as prepare me for my road test, Gary taught me about the important parts of the car, how to act in emergency situations, and how to drive defensively. Overall, City of Champs Driving School prepared me for my road test, but also made me a better, more informed driver.

Fantastic experience: I had a great driving class experience with Gary which was an ideal decision to take some classes with him since despite driving for a while I came from New Zealand where it was a right hand driving and I couldn't confidentially drive. I failed in the first attempt that dropped my confidence even more and I got his assistance by all means taking brush up classes, he understood my weakness and strength and supported me so much. I knew I could drive well but I lost hope at time since I failed over again and it was a bad experience , biting bullet and Gary help me ace it. He checks all your moves, give you advices at any point and make you feel confident. After 2 disastrous experiences with other driving school I was at low point and thinking I would never get my driver license. But after a week of practice with him I aced my test at the first try, and I have to say is all because of him. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Carlos is a gem! I needed to exchange my Finnish DL. As Alberta doesn't have a reciprocal agreement with Finland, I had to go through the GDL process. Had only one brush-up lesson with him before the test, and I am so glad to have met an instructor like that If you live in Edmonton/St. Albert, this is the driving school to go to! I needed only one class to get used to the conditions in AB, but you are in great (not just good) hands if you need to learn to drive. I wish I had Carlos as my instructor ten years ago! And the lady who managed my request was extremely polite, thoughtful, and prompt too! You can't go wrong with this one

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of driving experience in Europe and Ukraine, but in order to get an Alberta license, I had to pass an exam and pass a road test. I am very grateful to Mr. Silviu, who very intelligibly explained to me the main features and differences of driving in addition to my skills, traveled with me in different conditions and gave me maximum information in a short time. Fantastic experience: Great place to learn I was referred to City of Champion from a WhatsApp from of community of Nigerians in Edmonton. I literally went from no driving skills to acquiring it in just 8 days of practicing with an awesome instructor Mrs AMANDEEP. She will teach you all there is to know with the easiest, most effectively and efficient way to get it done. She taught me Parallel Parking for the very first time ever and I "WOWed" Is it that simple? I asked. She is such a great teacher; not just an instructor. I have never driven a car before and even when I get nervous, she will encourage me that, I've got this and that I can do it. She helped me build my confidence behind the wheel. Negative experience: How is it possible that this school is 5 star? Only explanation, family and friends of this business are reviewing and rating the school. The instructor that taught my daughter was poor and did nothing to prepare her for the exam or teach her how to drive. I specifically went with this school in hopes that my daughter would receive top notch and professional instruction. My daughter was left unprepared, little to no confidence and confused. This was her feedback, not mine. I only was able to see first hand when she would practice with me. It unfortunately showed. I am not a teacher and did not want to pass on any of my bad driving habits to my daughter. Hence the reason I went with this school thinking they were amazing due to all the rave reviews. Stay away and look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I needed some practice before my drivers exam so I did some research online and found City of Champions Driving School, I was very pleased with the outcome. I did not purchase any classes but rather brush up courses. Valentine was very patient and very communicative, he shows you what to do and explains it very well so that you have the knowledge and confidence when you do your exam. I also used the company vehicle for the exam as well and recommend it for anyone curious about the vehicle rental as it is good to use the same vehicle for the exam as the one you use for training.

Fantastic experience: My son took his drivers training course and driving lessons from City Of Champions Driving School and they are amazing. My son took his road test today and passed on the first try. I am not posting this because my son passed, but posting this because they gave my son the confidence he need to be a good driver. My son has a learning disability and learning for him can be a challenge. My son requires someone to show him and explain things over and over to him until it sticks without getting frustrated . Valentine, his driving instructor gave him nothing put the patience and the time he needed to be successful. After every lesson my son came home more confident and excited to show me what he learned. When my daughter started her drivers training course she had zero driving under her belt and just after 10 hours in the car she was doing so much better. Fantastic experience: I'm so thankful to City of Champions driving school for helping me pass my road test. For context I have almost a decade of driving experience outside Canada. As a new comer to the country I felt I had enough experience to ace the road test without much trouble, I was wrong. I initially signed up for a two hour brush up. Thinking that was enough. Looking back I can see now that I was not at all ready for the test. I didn't have enough hours behind the wheel to practice and build confidence before the test. I had already booked a date before training with city of Champions, that's was also a mistake. After failing my first test at the end of February Valentine the owner of CofC was full of encouragement. I was about to book more comprehensive lessons with CofC before COVID hit and put a stop to my plans up until August when I was able to book another test. This time I wouldn't make the same mistake. Even though I'd been driving a lot in the last few months I called CofC to book sessions in the days leading to the test. I also booked the car I would be training with for the test. This is very important because after training with the car I knew I'd feel familiar with it which would also help with the test. My second trainer was AJ. He was awesome, very friendly guy. He let me drive and was only critical on things that would lead to a fail. At this point because I'd driven a lot more I felt more confident, AJ reinforced that with his style of training. Training with him really made me feel calm and relaxed. On the day I booked a 2 hour session right before the test. AJ took me round the area of the test on the west side and prepared me. It felt like I was driving with my friend instead of an instructor. In the end I passed with only a score of 45 points which the kind examiner explained were not due to any major violations but minor things like timing of my lane change. I would recommend CofC to anyone looking to pass the test. They offer a full range of in class and on-road training. I only wish I'd taken advantage of the very low prices they offered and booked enough lessons way back in February. Perhaps I might have passed my test then. Fantastic experience: City of Champions is a real jem. I highly recommend them to any young driver just starting, or anyone looking to brush up on their driving skills. My instructor, Valentine, is by far the best teacher I've ever had. Patient, very well spoken, and a great sense of humor. His way of teaching/instructing leaves a lasting impression, and I found myself learning faster than I normally do. Fantastic experience: Here is a brief story of how I ended at this professional driving school: I came to Canada with great experience of driving but I went for the road test with that confidence and I failed hands down, the first time so I was advised to look for a driving school to familiarize myself with Edmonton driving way, as I was frustrated on Facebook and googling all names I found City of Champions driving school which indeed trains champions like their name, I did 10hours of driving, did my last 1.5hours of the 10hours on the day for my road test, and wow exactly what the best trainer named AJ a friendly and amazing person to drive along with taught me, I passed my test with absolute great performance that my examiner was so impressed herself when she learnt that I had not driven in Canada. My long story is to show you there is a professional, a very supportive driving school that is going to stand with you from day one til you have passed your exam and it’s only CITY OF CHAMPIONS DRIVING SCHOOL that produces champion drivers. Let’s reduce road accidents by going to professional driving schools like this. (I have put my first results when I failed to make sure you believe this is a true personal experience) Thank you for helping me be a professional driver and helping get my beautiful car on the road.

He manages to stay clean and sanitized car. Every time I managed to exacerbate, he would teach me the right way. The car is really amazing to use for a road test. I would recommend because I had a blast with my favourite instructor. As we had very good conversations overall.

He was really good .All the small tricks and methods he showed came into use during the test.In fact it became difficult for the examiner to find mistakes during my road test .I would highly recommend taking lessons under him and I dont think you will face difficulties in passing the road test if he's your instructor!

Yes I failed twice, was referred to Valentine and then We Did It. talking to him over the phone to set our first appointment he told me "I am gonna teach you all you need to pass". It turned out to be a promise. It was three hours with Valentine and I knew it is completely different experience driving Canada.
