As an immigrant driver who has no driving experience in Canada or my home country, my learning experience with Taylor was very smooth and faster than I expected. Negative experience: Terrible experience with instructor. The instructor was very rude and unprofessional. When I made a mistake, they'd yell things like "Gosh!" or "What are you doing?" without telling me what I did wrong and how to do it correctly. They were so often texting on their phone. They were also late 45 min for a course and did not want to compensate. I passed my G in one go, but still decided to hire a coach at a different place for 2x2 hours to enhance my skill. Right after that I was able to drive a uhaul 10' truck (first time driving on my own) for 700 km. The experience was very traumatizing and I cried twice after lessons. Of course my experience is specific to this instructor and not the school in general. Response to the owner: Of course you cannot find a student under that name.. But I'm sure the instructor I was taking about was with you because they had your sign on top of their car, and their first text message introduced them as with you. As for your second point, I got an G license package from you (I forgot whether it is 8 sessions or 8 hours but each session was 2 hours). The 2x2 lesson I talked about was from another instructor with another school. And no thank you I don't want you to find out who I am and where I live. I just want people know my experience.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would! Driving lessons with Taylor exceeded my expectations! She had an incredible way of understanding what was tripping my brain up understanding certain concepts, she's SUPER patient. As an immigrant to Kingston/Canada from Scotland, I had a couple of lessons to familiarise myself with driving on the right hand side of the road and with local road rules. Richard tailored the tuition to meet my needs in a friendly and professional manner. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely amazing experience having Taylor as my Instructor. She was calm and kind which made the entire experience a lot less stressful than i thought it was going to be. I had only driven once or twice before my lessons, and today i passed my G2! She always made sure i felt comfortable, but also made sure i was learning new things and slowly stepping out of my bubble and improving as we went along. I dont think i would have been able to do the G2 without her, I appreciate her and The Kingston Driving School a lot!

Fantastic experience: I passed my G test thanks to my instructor, Taylor! I did the delta package since I had not driven since I passed my G2 over a year ago. Taylor made it very easy to book all of my lessons and was ALWAYS on time, if not early. She was very knowledgeable (former driver test examiner), patient (very alert and will let you know how to fix mistakes while remaining super calm and chill), and kind - a wonderful teacher. I had so much fun on my lessons and will miss them! Really happy with the experience and would recommend Taylor and the driving school to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I had Taylor as my driving instructor and I swear she is the only reason I passed my g2 road test. I only had 4 lessons with her and in those lessons she taught me a lot, some things that weren’t in the test but rather to make my life easier as a driver. She didn’t make me feel dumb if I did something wrong or when I asked questions which I was pretty nervous about. Another thing was that she wasn’t an anxious passenger. She intervened when she had to but other than that she tried to let you figure it out. I recommend her as an instructor if you decide to go with kingston driving school!
