Fantastic experience: I started out with this one driver nice guy (I can’t remember his name) but over most of my lessons it seemed that he wasn’t really teaching me anything so I switched instructors and got Marleen, sweetest person ever and she got me all caught up in what i needed to know to pass my G2 test, which I now have. She was very comfortable and relaxed with me in the car and wasn’t harsh at all.

Fantastic experience: After a lot of searching I landed on AAPEX to take some classes for my g2 test. I went into my classes feeling anxious. I had Donna as a teacher and she was honestly the perfect teacher. She pushed my out of my comfort zone and made sure I got out of my head. But was the right amount of supportive and really helped me with my confidence. I passed with flying colours and I'll forever be grateful for Donna's help. I fully recommend aapex and their teachers

Fantastic experience: Today I passed my G2, because of a special person. Michael is one of a kind, from my first 2 hour session, to my prep 1 hour before the test today. He believed in me when nobody else did. My goodness this man deserves a raise, and a standing novation, as it takes patience and skill to do what he can do. I hope this message finds him well :) Thank you to Appex, I will be in touch in one year or so to book my Final Road Test :)

Fantastic experience: 5 stars I had zero complaints at first I had Tammy as my instructor, she was so patient with me driving 12 km an hour around my neighborhood for my first lesson but then got me driving confidently 50km an hour for my 2nd lesson. Then Aapex recommended that I go to a different instructor that would better suit my needs as I have CP (Cerebral Palsy). That's when I went in to the medical stream and met Melissa. Even when I met Melissa I was still nervous to press the gas. Melissa Like Tammy was so patient figuring out what additional equipment I needed to safely drive it took a couple of months. I needed a tri-pin and a steering knob attached to my steering wheel. Melissa got the job done and i passed my G2 test yesterday. A Big thanks goes out to Tammy and Melissa with out you guys my mom would still be scared to drive with me. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I signed up for driving lessons with AAPEX as soon as I passed my written test. They came recommended to me by my daycare provider and I can see why. If you're learning how to drive this is the place to go. They really prepare you by for being a safe driver and developing that skill. I had Heidi and truly if you get her as your in-car instructor you'll be so happy and lucky. Heidi is an amazing instructor, she's kind and gives give advice and critique, she will always find a way to explain what to do in a way you that works for you all while being your biggest cheerleader. I can't thank her enough for her patience and guidance.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous to drive and Michael did a great job of calming my nerves and giving me the confidence I needed to be able to drive. Thanks to Michael I was able to pass my road test on the first try and now feel confident to drive!

Fantastic experience: I recommend Apex Driving Academy to any new drivers. For the in-car lessons, Michael was a fantastic instructor for both my teens. My teens said he was a very calm and patient instructor. He communicated very clearly, was friendly and easy-going. My teens felt confident going into their road tests and felt Michael contributed greatly. They both passed!

Fantastic experience: I was super nervous when it came time to prepare for my G Road Test. Thankfully I had one of the best instructors. Micheal helped calm my nerves and fully prepare me to pass my test. Through his guidance I felt very confident in taking my test. Truly the best Aapex experiences I have ever had.

Fantastic experience: Great program! My instructor, Donna, was so amazing and helped me get over my nerves and learn a number of important skills for driving. I ended up passing my G2 on my first try!

Negative experience: Please note if I could give 0 stars I most definitely would. I was excited to get my daughter a few lessons with Aapex as They were highly recommended to us. I signed up after speaking with someone online who was very pleasant. I received a date that worked for us so the lesson was booked. I received a call to see if I would reschedule that date and time so I agreed and another day was scheduled. I later received a message on the Wednesday from Tammy who would be the instructor (2 days before the lesson) to see if I could reschedule for the day before. Mind you I am still not sure if the message was intended for us as it was addressed to’Myles’. I did not respond to this message as I had stressed before we were not available the day we were being asked to come in. I received a follow up message stating that not to worry about the request as the time was filled. On Thursday I received a call from Tammy basically yelling in the phone that she just wanted to confirm that we were doing the lesson the next day as “no one answered her message or called her back “. I tried to explain to her I didn’t think it was necessary to reply as 1) I specifically said we were not available on the day she had suggested and ,2 ) she had messaged back to say not to worry because she had the time filled. She continued to just be ignorant and quite rude. The morning of the appointment I pulled in the parking lot I was directed to go so my daughter could start her lesson. We were there approximately 15 minutes early. Eventually I saw a car with the Aapex signage on it. I approached in a very polite way to introduce myself and my daughter to make sure she was going in the correct vehicle. Well the rage I met from this lady was unbelievable. She was so nasty I eventually asked her if my child was going to be safe in the car with her. Otherwise I’m happy to leave. She appeared a bit calmer so the lesson was done. I went to the office and was explaining to the staff there what I had endured. The staff stated they were not surprised as Tammy has an attitude towards the staff as well and that there are many complaints about her. I was then directed to call Ami, who I believe to be a supervisor. I didn’t think it could’ve gotten any worse. She made it seem as though I should not be complying about the situation and even stated it was ‘out of character for Tammy’. I guess her other staff got it wrong. Ami told me she would call me on Monday as she would investigate and get back to me (I spoke with her on Friday). Waited all day Monday and no return call. I called back the office this morning ( Tuesday) and was informed that Ami had detailed documentation that she had spoken to me on Monday. I tried to explain I did not receive any calls so therefore I’m not sure who she called. Person on the phone began to make excuses trying to explain how busy Mondays are. In the meantime I realized I had an email from Monday with account details with password ( that we apparently requested, which we had never requested at any point nor was it given to us prior to, as well an appointment was rescheduled for a day we were not available. I went in the St. Catharines office and was once again trying to cancel the appointment ( that up until then I had no idea when it was scheduled for) and was met once again with the utmost arrogance by Stephanie. I was so frustrated that I had to ask her if being arrogant was a prerequisite for the job. Everyone from the top down was extremely arrogant ( except for the initial staff I spoke to on the day of the 1st lesson ). My daughter was extremely excited to get on the road and get a chance to book her G2 and we just wanted to make sure she was ready to do so. If this is the way you treat customers that are new, it’s truly sad. I have cancelled my appointment and unfortunately would never use this service again. Up until this point I’m yet to get an apology , not that it really matters at this point. This entire experience made me realize Tammy is not the problem. It seems this company has much bigger issues.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend aapex to any young driver. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with my driving instructor, Jeddi. He was incredibly thorough and clear when teaching, and he shared so many helpful tips snd tricks that made everything easy to remember for the G2 test. I never left a lesson confused, and as someone who can take a little bit to catch on to thing's he was extremely patient when giving extra instructions. After my second lesson with him, I felt really confident in my abilities. His kindness and reassurance truly made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. I’m definitely coming back in a year to prepare for my full G!

Fantastic experience: I’m glad I chose Aapex Driving Academy for obtaining my g2 license. Special mention to my driving instructor Heidi U. She’s a rockstar! She’s very knowledgeable very informative and she will make sure that you get her instructions either by drawing it to your workbook and explain it while your parked or by instructing it while your driving. Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience doing driving lessons with my instructor, Jeddi. He was very thorough and clear in the way he taught the driving laws and provided lots of helpful tips to make it easy to remember for the G2 test. After a couple of lessons with him, I was very confident in my abilities to complete the test and so was he! His compassion and reassurance helped me feel comfortable in the drivers seat. I would definitely recommend this driving school to new drivers, especially students in university or high school. I will for sure be coming back in a years time to practice for my full G :)

Fantastic experience: The staff and instructors care about your young driver’s safety and experience end to end. Our son’s experience was fantastic. In class and in car lessons are thorough. When my son’s driver’s exam was late, and our car died, they walked us through a boost and shared safety advice with my son during the process. They checked in to make sure we were ok. Fantastic experience: UPDATE: I just finished my last highway lessons with Michael as my instructor. I can proudly say that with his instruction, help, and encouragement, I am now a confident, fully licenced G class driver. Last year, when preparing for my G2 (also with Michael) I couldn't imagine being behind the wheel, let alone drive on the highway on my own! Although, I took my G test (and passed! YAY!) before finishing my lessons, I decided to finish off the last of my lessons as the instruction I received from Michael were very valuable, whether it is preparing for my road test(s) or for everyday driving. Thank you so much Michael and thank you AAPEX driving academy for turning a very nervous learner/beginner driver to a now confident fully licenced G class driver. I had Michael as my instructor. He understood my anxiety and attitude towards driving and helped me develop confidence in myself in preparation for the road test. Fantastic experience: Absolute 10/10 goes out to both the AAPEX academy, and my instructor Michael. If you are lucky enough to get him as your instructor I say with certainty that you will have no issue passing come your test. Driving with him has really helped me boost my confidence behind the wheel, and I have learned so much that I didn’t know before. That reinforced with respect, and encouragement has helped form me into a confident, safe driver. If you lack confidence behind the wheel, or would just like to learn more about the rules of the road before you go out there and get your G2, then I highly recommend considering trying AAPEX driving academy.

Fantastic experience: Marleen was a great instructor. I was very comfortable from the very beginning. She was knowledgeable and easy to learn from. I had been driving with my G2 for the last 4 yrs, and had picked up some bad habits on the road over those yrs. Marleen corrected any bad behaviors I had and got me fully prepared for my G test. I couldn’t have passed it without her.

Fantastic experience: Jeddi was a perfect instructor, he showed all the tricks to make parallel parking, 3 point turns, backing in a spot and normal parking easier. Jeddi was understanding, patient and just nice overall. I would definitely recommend appex driving school and Jeddi.

Fantastic experience: I had Jaideep as my drive lesson instructor. He explained everything that I needed to know and do perfectly. He told me my mistakes and we worked on them together. Today I did my G test and passed. I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Jaideep taught me everything I know about driving. Before him, I never stepped foot in the driver’s seat before, now I passed my road test on the first try.

Negative experience: I contacted Aapex Driving Academy two months before my sons G test to schedule a number of lessons and their car for the G test. The lessons were set for one a week for the month leading up to the test, 4 lessons and one before the test. The first lesson went off without a hitch, the second was rescheduled at the last minute and the forth was canceled at the last minute. Following the last cancelation the manager called to reschedule the missed lesson. I voiced my concern about their reliability and they assured me the future lessons and the test would be fine. Then a week before my sons test they called to say they were down an instructor and were not going to be able to do the lessons or the test. They were unwilling to move any other staff and wanted to refund the cost of the lessons missed. I find this very poor customer service and would not recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I’m an international student and I did my G2 lessons with Jeddi. I am happy to say that I have passed my G2 examination! Aapex have been very helpful, and I would personally recommend Jeddi to any incoming students as he was very nice and helpful whenever I was struggling with my driving.

Fantastic experience: I took the online delivery package and was very impressed from the beginning with the detailed teaching videos, lectures and interactive situational videos. I never had any problem with the system. I began my in car training on May 26th and had the best driving instructor I could've asked for, Jeddi. Previously I had only been in a car about 4 or 5 times and had never been on the main road, never been to intersections, etc. He taught me to go out of my comfort zone and helped me get over my driving anxiety. The whole time Jeddi was very patient, clear to understand , honest and also funny! I felt as if he really cared about my success and wanted to help anyway he could. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to have Marlene as my driving instructor. She is very nice and calm and her lessons were the best. I easily passed my driving test.

Negative experience: Horrible! I went on two lessons and none of the two instructors I had found anything wrong and indicated that I was ready for my test. During my test the invigilator said everything was good but I automatically failed when I didnt yeild to a pedestrian that began to cross when I turned out of the exit of the test center. I made one mistake on the drivers test. The instructor, Jerry, then went back to the academy and made up other trumped up innuendos that I was a dangerous driver in an attempt to get me to pay almost another 300 dollars for more lessons. Ive been driving in the US and other places for several years. When I asked, "why did he call me a dangerous driver?" they wouldnt present me with any valid reason other than, "We will always trust our instructors". The pedestrian began crossing when I was turning out of the test center and it caught me off guard and I chose to just slow down on the exit and then leave instead of slamming breaks and waiting. It is still my 1 and only mistake which cause me to fail the test. To try and get me to take more lessons with no reason other than the mistake I made is arbitrary. They dont listen to the customer's side of the story and seek to get you to pay a fortune unnecessarily. Im not paying almost another 300 to total close to 600 dollars to learn what I already know. What I experienced was by definition racketeering! Just dishonest and one-sided.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I got the chance to experience Aapex driving academy! DAN RABY was in inclass and incar instructor and honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better person! He is knowledgeable, amicable, and funny! When I thought my nerves were going to get the best of me he calmed me down and reminded me I was ready! Inclass he was funny and personable! He didn’t let class get boring. Being late to the game I felt awkward being in class with children my age but he never made me feel that way he is just the best! Thanks Dan for helping me get my G2 I’ll see ya in a year! Let the shenanigans begin!

My instructor Heidi filled me in on anything I needed to know before getting on Canadian roads and she was absolutely awesome! She is not only a great instructor, but a lovely person overall, and I am very proud to say she is my number 1 reason why I was able to pass my G2!
