Fantastic experience: My experience with Gennaro was incredible! Barbara found times that worked well with my availability and made sure I had all the information I needed. My instructor, John, was amazing. He helped me learn the pre-trip within three lessons and I felt confident for the test. He gave me a lot of good advice for the road test and tips in order to succeed. Gennaro is a great company and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a particularly tough day on my test date, and Barb was there to assist me through it, which really turned things around for me. Fantastic experience: I did the Class 1 Melt training with these guys and can't say enough good things about my experience. They were both professional and accommodating, so they were very easy to work with. Due to the length of time required for this training, the administration personal were very helpful and worked very hard to get everybody the times and days in the truck that worked best for them. The instructors were great and went out of their way to work with the individual, to address weak points or differences in understanding, and to get them ready for testing. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I had Roger as my instructor and he is an absolute riot. He turned learning into something fun. He was a great teacher, he knows his stuff! He was friendly and encouraging and most importantly honest-which is important when it comes to preparing for this road test because you need to know what you’re doing well on and where you can improve. I did my road test and passed the first try and I hadn’t even touched a truck before coming for my lessons! I was encouraged to study the material they gave me and practice which I did and I couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend coming here if you’re looking to learn and upgrade you licence

Fantastic experience: I attended the air brake endorsement course so I can obtain my Q to drive our Class A diesel pusher. I was very intimidated when I arrived as I thought this would be very technical for all the commercial students. Colleen was leading our class and I was very impressed with her delivery and patience in answering questions. She really did make me feel comfortable, which made the day that much easier. It is a lot of content in a short amount of time, but emphasis was made on the right information. She recommended to review the book a few times to really get the information to stick. Great advice!! The practical had me stressed. The moment I got in front of the air system board, all of the numbers I learned went out the window. Joe was completing my practical with me and helped me through it. He gave me some very sage advice to spend a few days re-reading the content before I challenge the test at the registries. He provided a few pointers and was very supportive. Today I went to challenge the test at the registries office. Passed with one incorrect answer. Thank you Colleen and Joe! Both of you are great instructors and I highly recommend Gennaro for getting the Q endorsement for your RV.

Fantastic experience: My time at Gennaro Transport Training had been amazing. The training I received was very professional, and honestly really fun! I've never driven a semi truck before, and thanks to my instructor Doug, I quickly grew confident in my driving. He took the time to explain everything from my turns, braking, acceleration, traffic signs, and so much more. It was a lot to take in at first, but Doug's teaching really boost my confidence. I appreciate his lessons and experience as a truck driver! Thanks to him, I was able to pass my Class 3 road test on the first try! Fantastic experience: I would give more than a 5 star if I could. Right from the start Barb and Carmella were able to work me in as I had a tight schedule to get driver training and testing done. It was all clear what the process was and even with all the daily changes they have to manage they still got me completed. The Airbrakes course was done with Roli and he did a great job and applied real life experience to make the course more beneficial. Then I had the driver training with Roger. He was a gem of a trainer. I learned so much from him and he applied real life experiences and situations as you drove. He would take extra time where you really needed it. Not only does he want you to pass but he really wants you to be a safe driver once you get out in the road. With his training I was very confident that I would do well in the testing. I did pass with only a few minor errors on my pre trip inspection portion. Overall if you are looking at Gennaro for training you don't need to look anywhere else - just sign up and get ready to hit the road. Thanks Barb and Carmella for all you do!

The ladies in the office Barb, Anita and Carmela are always on the ball working with you for scheduling around your availability and making sure you’re doing what you have to to get it all done in a timely manner. Roger did an amazing job keeping us involved instructing the classroom portion of the Class 1 MELT Course. Provided everything I need for my future on the road. Robert was my driving instructor. I can definitely say he boosted my knowledge, confidence and skill behind the wheel. My first day out on the road I was a nervous, the sweats, anxiety and adrenaline were all there but Robert totally changed that. Within a few lessons it was all “normal” to me with his instruction. Oh! Can’t forget Joe in the back for keeping the fleet held together! A++ Training Facility and would recommend to ANYONE looking to obtain their commercial drivers license or to simply better their skills

Excellent school, very knowledgeable instructors who know how to get through to the student and explain things so they understand. The whole experience was very professional. The atmosphere even at the front desk is very warm and welcoming, Barb is super friendly and goes out of her way to make sure you have all your bases covered. After how impressed i was obtaining my class 3 license through this school they did not disappoint for my class 1 course. My instructor Rob really did go above and beyond to ensure i was prepared for my test. Classroom instructor Colleen and Practical Test instructor Roger are passionate to deliver the course content perfectly. Fantastic experience: This is the school you will want to go to if you want to learn the right way. My experience has been extremely positive all throughout the course, everything from the classroom lessons to the driving lessons to the front office helping with paperwork and scheduling. You will leave the course feeling prepared and ready for your road test and for real world work conditions. I had Roger for my driver lessons, and me being someone with zero previous experience he was extremely patient and taught me at my own pace in order for me to develop the skills needed in this industry; not only was he extremely knowledgeable and kind but he went above and beyond to explain things in different ways in order to ensure you understand the underlying concepts. I have zero complaints about my time here and would recommend Gennaro over any other training center. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: I attended the Class 1 MELT program at Gennaro and had a wonderful learning experience. Every one of the instructors were extremely helpful and great to spend time with. Can't say enough good things. The office staff were excellent to work with and helped ensure a timely completion of the program. Barb was my main point of contact and she was absolutely fabulous to work with. She had great communication with me and the many students that she deals with. Colleen was my main instructor and she was truly fantastic. Her expertise and experience really helped me understand the concepts and really prepared me for my exam. Fantastic experience: Gennaro is a great place to get your class 1 I had Roger for the classroom training he makes the dry government program easier to get through with little stories. For beginning in truck training I had Colleen she is very easy to get along with and is great at training she will take you on your first day thinking you are going to destroy the transmission to on your second lesson shifting in traffic and feeling confident she is a fantastic teacher. I had Rob for the end of my training he is a easy going laid back guy with decades of experience to pass on he will take you on jobs delivering to loading docks around the city which is a great way to prefect backing up in unique or super tight situations which will make the back ups on the test a breeze also a awesome teacher. Last but not least is Barbara the face and voice of gennaro on top of handling all the emails and paperwork also goes above and beyond in working around dozens of people's work schedules making the training schedule work. I contacted Gennaro, off the get go, the receptionist Barbara was friendly, efficient and informative.. The air brake and driving skill training was completed with a couple of fellows Roly& Doug, around 90 years of real world experience between the two of them.So if you want to start a career or supplement a income, you can do it with confidence and a fair price at Gennaro training.They served me well! I really loved the family atmosphere, and I will miss getting to visit with the staff in the office while waiting for my driving sessions. Rob is an excellent instructor, especially if you like on the job training. He had me going through downtown Edmonton in a semi truck, despite me never wanting to take my personal vehicle there before. He is also a great guy to chat with, and will truly inspire you to drive to the best of your ability (good life advice too!) I passed my driving test with 0 points deducted, and completed both of the backups in a little over 3 minutes thanks to Rob’s teaching and support. Within a week these amazing people got me to the point where I was confident and passed my driving exam with ease. Colleen was my primary instructor and she was wonderful. So much knowledge and so fun to work with. Rolli gave an excellent airbreaks course and Rob helped me get rid of my pre road test nerves! Fantastic experience: Started my trucking career with training at this wonderful family owned and operated school. The Instructors and everyone who works here are beyond friendly and make you feel like family. Roger was my instructor and his desire to help his students learn and succeed was very prevalent. His years of experience in the industry led him to share many tips and tricks that I felt had a huge impact on my experience here. They strive to help in any way they can. That goes for all the instructors I had lessons with. Coleen, James and my primary instructor Roger. Barb at the front counter always knows how to put a smile on your face when you walk in too. Positive experience: I wanted my class 3, so I Came for 3 days of training and then took the test, Before the test I was nervous and I didn't think I would pass. But with the training and expertise at Gennaro I easily passed my test.
