Fantastic experience: I learned to drive later than most and always had some fear around driving on the highway. I had an amazing experience at Safa Driving school, and the teachers genuinely care about their students, and provide constructive feedback in a positive manner. I took the 6 hour class package as a refresher and then the 6 hour highway session. Mrs Rashid is such a warm presence and always took the time to answer my questions and super helpful with scheduling. Claudia was so helpful in refreshing my driving skills and made me feel more confident for the highway. Mr. Rashid (the main teacher & owner) is evidently a very experienced instructor and gave me tips that my previous teachers didn't. He really taught me to anticipate situations and gave really helpful feedback for changing lanes and checking my review mirror after lane changes, which made me better prepared for the highway test. My highway lesson was a drive from Mont Tremblant and back. Mr and Mrs. Rashid were kind enough to treat me to lunch and coffee stops. I learned so many valuable skills during this session, from merging, lane changing, adjusting speed (especially in windy areas), navigating highway exits and even driving in snowy conditions. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience and I feel much more confident driving thanks to the Safa Driving School team. I highly recommend them! Big thank you!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this driving school! I took extra driving lessons here in order to prepare for the exam. The staff was very accomodating and caring! I was able to grow much more confident in my driving thanks to them! They were kind but very thorough and honest! I was converting my license and only took a few sessions to prep for the road test, but those sessions were incredibly valuable. Fantastic experience: The school gives a lot of attention to different driving techniques, safety, maneuvers and overall building the right attitude to drive on the road. The classes are thorough with a lot of time being spent on real-world examples and photos from around Montreal neighborhood. They make you practice on the highway as well so that you are comfortable driving at relatively higher speeds and changing lanes. Various assessments are held at regular intervals and feedbacks are very detailed. Overall a very positive experience.

I had a great experience with entire safa family and Mr Rashid and Mrs Rashid are the best as they treated me like their son and guided me throughout the process. Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the service at Safa driving school ! The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable, I was never stressed or worried during my driving sessions. Always attentive and trying to do their best to accomodate my schedule! The only school that offered English lessons in the late evening so it's very convenient for those who study or work !

Negative experience: Poor English and nonexistent French. It's a shame in Québec to not respect the official language (or even speak either of Canada's languages well!). He goes on tangents about how Montreal is getting worse, even when it has nothing to do with anything. However, I see from all of their previous responses to negative criticism (you are not a Safa student!) that they are too arrogant to learn or accept feedback. Oh, and if he lies and says this isn't true, call the number and test the French and English. It's pitiful and an insult. I only called because they only answer emails with a huge delay.

I had every reason to go to one of the "big and popular schools" in Montreal, but I focused on reviews and found Safa Driving School as a hidden gem. Mr. Rashid puts a lot of effort into making the theoretical classes more engaging and informative than what they should be, giving you more advice and real life examples and test preparation that you could possibly have gotten with a another school. The instructors are wonderful, helpful, patient, and give constant advice and encouragement throughout the sessions. They make sure you get the best out of the sessions and the tests so you can have a pleasant experience driving with them. The management really cares about their students and want the best for them, even calling you to remind you of your scheduled sessions to make sure you don't miss them. They will consult you to attempt scheduling the theory classes at timings that work for everyone involved, not just a pre-set schedule that is imposed on you. You get experience driving a wide range of cars including hybrid and fully electric, and sometimes a tesla. You also get to drive in all type of weather, no matter how "bad", as to make sure you get to learn under all circumstances. And apart from the regular Road Safety Education Program, Safa offers additional sessions, including highway and practical test preparation sessions. If you have any doubts, give a chance to Safa, they will make sure your driving experience with them is worth it.

Fantastic experience: SAFA is arguably one of the best driving schools in Montreal. Booking driving sessions is smooth, easy, and highly flexible. I was able to complete the entire SAAQ program (Theory classes and driving sessions) in just seven months! The school has excellent instructors, including Mr. Rashid himself, who provided me with the most honest and constructive feedback. Before giving me my attestation, he made sure I thoroughly understood all the areas where I needed improvement. He has a lot of experience, and he is both nice and honest and also cares a lot about his students, which helps in the process of becoming a safe and courteous driver.

Fantastic experience: SAFA is the best driving school you could ever find in Montreal. They prepare you in the real world, road situations, and circumstances. From the theory classes up to the actual driving sessions. Mr Rashid goes above and beyond in sharing his knowledge and experience, of course it’s up to the student to pass but I can tell he really tries to prepare his students. As for the teachers, I drove with Claudia and Bilki, they have different teaching techniques so make sure you try to switch teachers so you’ll get a full learning experience. Administrative stuff in terms of booking lessons and reminders are well organized with Jamila and Attika. Please consider this school for everyone’s safety on the road. You also get to try to drive their Tesla as a bonus.

Not surprisingly, he drives much more safely and confidently right after finishing the course. His instructor focused on safety and correcting his driving weaknesses. Fantastic experience: I have made enquiries at many places and decided to go with Safa driving school. I must say that I am amazed by their service. Mr. Rashid and his family is very friendly and easy approachable. Mr, Rashid is very honest and knowledgeable. He takes at most care to make sure that his knowledge is completely transferred to all the students. The only downside is being a recognized driving school their extra driving lessons are expensive. I took my additional practice sessions outside for less than half the price. Be mindful about that especially when you are on a tight budget.

Fantastic experience: Before Safa school I was in a different school and it felt as if they were more interested in talking about their experience in driving or teaching then teaching the class and couldn’t pass the learners exam after five tries, so I deceived to switch school and found safa driving school, Mr. Rashid take the time to make sure each and every student understands the lesson and is on us about focusing on the lessons which helped a-lot and after one learners exam with him I passed. He is the same about the actual driving, they will make sure you work on your weakness and there end goal is that all students are great drivers. They are kind and very caring especially Mrs. Rashid.

Fantastic experience: Safa driving school does a superb job at teaching you the Road Safety Education Program. From the theoretical classes to the practical classes they put an immense amount of effort to teach you the right way to drive. My favorite part is the administration they make the process of booking classes and driving sessions very easy and they are very attentive to all of your needs. I had the pleasure to drive with all the instructors and they are all top quality instructors that make you feel comfortable but also make sure you are driving the correct way. All of this for a better price than most of the other driving schools!

Fantastic experience: I learnt driving here and passed my test recently at the first attempt! The teachers are very good and thorough - if they seem strict sometimes, it is because road safety is important and must be taken seriously. I learnt a lot at the school and loved all the instructors and their patience in answering all my questions. They are currently 4 instructors and 3 cars, so it is easy to make appointments. It is a family-run business and all the Rashids are very sweet. I will miss their smiling faces. Thank you for your guidance and support.

Fantastic experience: I needed a few lessons to renew my long lapsed license and searched online for a good driving school. I chose the SAFA school because it had a highest Google rating and is conveniently located. I am very glad that I chose this school as 1) they nicely accommodated my schedule and needs, 2) all three instructors that I practiced together were very nice and helpful, and 3) the 3-hour exam prep session was the best. The last one was really important and helped me a lot to pass the exam. I highly recommend to take this prep session - Thank you for the instruction and tips during this session, Mr. Rashid !

Fantastic experience: My experience at this driving school was very good. The theoretical classes were very clear and easy to understand. They give you a lot of attention and always make sure you understand everything before the lessons end. It’s a very easy and nice way to learn. The driving sessions are also amazing. Fantastic experience: I was a student at Safa Driving School. I would like to share my experience with the school. One of the most best qualities of the school is a way of theoretical class teaching by Mr. Rashid and he is a master and well knowledgeable teacher. He evaluated me the practical driving class and gave me valid inputs and formulas to remember. At the same time, he is very strict and makes everyone pay attention during the theoretical class. The car driving session, I had a great experience with two insteuctors, namely Mr. Mushin and Ms. Bilkis. They are very polite and taught me with good skills and they give us strength and weakness after every class. Also, I would like to mention Madam Ms. Jamila, she is such a kind person. She makes an appointment with us by proper phone communication and calls and informs us every day before the class. I do not know this kind of culture with any other schools they have. Therefore, I would highly recommend the Safa Driving School to the english speakers who want to learn professional driving techniques. Best place to learn.

Fantastic experience: Safa driving school is by far the best driving school they thought me how to be safe in the road I feel more than confident to drive on the road and the highway the instructors were all amazing and gave me really good advice. I also loved driving their Tesla I had the best experience ever. I highly recommend the new drivers to go learn from safa driving school.

Fantastic experience: Amazing school , the staff is amazing the teachers are patient and very nice people , I really enjoyed learning from Sara driving school I enjoyed very much all my car sessions with teacher Claudia , shes my favorite since she taught me most of year , Mr Rashid is great and Very fun to learn and his technique and it is different than other schools . 100% I enjoyed the online classes , very professional and on time ! I finished quicker than I thought .

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy I did my driving lessons at SAFA driving school, I feel super confident as a driver thanks to them. Mr and Mrs Rachid are very kind and never made me a feel like a number. Whenever I called them, Ms Rachid always took the time to ask me how I am and how my sister is doing (who also did her driving course with them). The courses, both the theory and driving, were super thorough and the teachers always made sure we perfected every driving manoeuvre. I recommend everyone to take their driving classes here!

Usually in the first few sessions they will show you all the mistakes and how to correct them. Very patient and caring instructors that want only the best for the students and want to make them better drivers. They went above and beyond for me. If you pay attention to Mr Rashid's online classes, it’s even more valuable than the book and he gives very precise measurements while driving which is super important. Top admin help from Mrs Rashid, always making the necessary arrangements with me. Definitely recommend the school.

By the end of my course, I was capable enough to drive confidently and also guide others about the rules and signs .
