Fantastic experience: My driving experience with Nadeem was incredibly effective he gave excellent instruction and guided me through my anxiety entering the g2 examination. He introduced a lot of important techniques for practical driving in real life situations. We did not avoid rain snow or even situations that were more complicated and instead helped empower me to get through difficult driving situations I feel a lot more equipped to hitting the roads after going through his instruction.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed a 4-day course at AMB Driving School and had a good experience. The theoretical portion was well-structured, and the lecturer explained the material clearly, covering useful details for driving. For the practical portion, I had five driving lessons (10 hours total) with Mohammad Al-Amin. He was extremely patient, provided lots of helpful tips, and made sure I understood what to expect for the G2 driving test. Great instructor! Overall, it’s a solid driving school, and I would recommend it.

Negative experience: Don’t take lessons here! Awful experience and a complete waste of more than $600 and my time. My instructor literally ruined my confidence before my first G2 exam. He said I was disrespectful after I asked him not to comment on every move I made, as it made me even more nervous. He claimed he didn’t feel safe with me because, during my last driving lesson, we almost hit another car on a right turn—which he said was entirely my fault and responsibility. However, it’s his job to monitor the road, react appropriately, and explain mistakes calmly, not by yelling. Instead of helping me work through my errors, he made me feel even more anxious. During my final lesson before the test, he constantly commented on everything I did, rushed me, and made me so uncomfortable that I needed time to recover afterward. He was often on the phone during lessons, which felt unprofessional and unsafe, and he frequently dropped me off before the full lesson time was over. He also“taught” by showing printed pictures instead of providing actual practical guidance. If I had only taken lessons with him, I would not have learned how to drive after 10 lessons! I failed my test because I was emotionally drained and distracted. Although I made one crucial mistake, all my other maneuvers were perfect—no thanks to him. To make matters worse, he couldn’t even park properly near my condo because the parking was tricky. Are you serious? I truly wasted my time and money. Choose a different school, or if you’re already enrolled here and feel uncomfortable with your instructor, request a change or a refund immediately. I thought I could manage and work through the odd behavior, but that was a huge mistake.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my g2 test all thanks to Faheem! He was an excellent instructor for both in class and in car lessons. I learnt so many valuable skills and he gave me some really good tips. I highly recommend going to AMB Driving School!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor Hossein was brilliant. I'd never driven before and he taught me patiently and I learned a tonne each lesson, and he was super easy to arrange lessons with. Because of Hossein's teaching I passed my G2 test first time with no issues! Absolutely recommend!

He was also able to accommodate any changes I had in lesson times. Even though I was a bit nervous before the test, I felt prepared and confident once the test started.

Fantastic experience: The AMB Driving School and my in-car driving instructor Mirza were instrumental in me passing the G1 and G2 tests from the first try. Mirza had a clear plan how to fix my existing bad habits and how to introduce new good ones, e.g. peeking at the rear mirror before braking. Definitely recommended.

Positive experience: Fun and interactive lessons with Faheem. My in car instructor, Iqbal, is practical and knowledgeable, but is very strict and harsh at times. If you do not know some things (whether it’s not taught before or you forget), you will be scolded. As someone already said, if you can’t handle stressful situations and harsh criticism (especially for young males), you can opt for another instructor. I passed my g2 test on the first try. Would recommend due to pricing and fun lessons.

Negative experience: If I could give a 0 star I would. My instructor literally forced me to write a 5 star review at the end of the lessons, he literally took my phone, tapped the 5 stars himself then said "write something nice and put my name in it too". (I deleted it after I got out of his car). My mom originally purchased the 10 hour pack because this school had high reviews, but now it all makes sense - I think some of the students are forced to write them so it artificially inflates the rating. Also on top of that awkward experience at the end, my lessons were broken into 2 hour days and there was not a single day where the instructor didn't: a) show up late b) drop me off early c) go to the washroom for 10 minutes d*) bonus: he once went grocery shopping for 20 minutes while I was in my lessons. Like genuinely I totalled up all the time that was wasted that was paid for and it ended up being a full hour. If you are charging students $553 (after tax) for 10 hours, and one of those hours is spent just waiting around for the instructor to go to Tim Hortons then I expect $55 in refund. Aside from just the overall slobby behaviour, the driving instructions given were not clear at some points. I felt like most of my time spent was just driving on long straight streets with lots of traffic lights, which is the easier part of driving. We spent very little time practicing the things that will actually be tested like parallel parking, three point turns, etc. Overall probably the worst $553 ever spent and I hope that after reading this at least someone will get saved the trouble and wasted money.

Fantastic experience: I was able to pass my G2 with flying colours. My in-car instructor was Hossein and his method of teaching through calm communication, guidance and correction made it possible to figure out the ebb and flow of car control. I would definitely do my G license practice with him also because he is just that amazing of an instructor. Thanks AMB driving ans Hossein.

Fantastic experience: I recently passed my G2 test on the first attempt. My instructor is Nadeem. He is friendly, professional, and patient. He goes beyond teaching you how to pass the road test, and gives you helpful tips on how to become a safe driver, especially for driving in the city. I strongly recommend Nadeem as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: So I was looking to do my G2 and stumbled upon this school's website, as it was the first thing that popped up. The sign up was pretty straight forward, I did the G1 Exit lessons for 10 hours, gave them the appropriate payment and information needed and just like that, I got paired up with my instructor, Mohammad Al-Amin. Overall, I had a really good experience with my instructor and driving here in general. He was a very chill and nice guy as a whole. He kept things simple but straight to the point and noted my improvements at driving, as we kept practicing together. Me and him bonded a bit, sharing our stories and music interest in Bob Marley. And when it was time to do the actual test at DriveTest, he helped take me there and was able to pass in the end. Mohammad, if you're reading this, I'm truly grateful for all the help you've done and offered for me during our time together. If you're still around next year, I hope we can meet up again to do the full G license. Overall, AMB is a very good driving school to attend to if you're looking to do your lessons on the road and aim towards getting your license at DriveTest Centre. If you get paired with Mohammad, then he'll surely help you pass your test with certainty.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended to go to this school by my cousin. This school provided me with a lot of knowledge in just 4 days. The location is along danforth and less than a 5 minute walk to Chester subway station. My in class instructor was very polite, he was funny and he made the class very friendly and entertaining. He would make a joke every now and then. As for my in car instructor, Bob, he is a very polite person. I have a health condition that slightly affects my head movement and he was very patient with me. He would give me advise that helped me get better behind the wheel. AMB would be a great choice for you to pick as your driving school. I’m thankful I picked this school.

Fantastic experience: I purchased the 5 hours + road test package hoping and praying would pass my G1 Exit Test and get my G2 license. AMB assigned Nadeem as my instructor. Over the course of 4 individual days, Nadeem showed me safe driving tactics and maneuvers to make me a better driver.Nadeem was absolutely calm and relaxed while giving instruction and he allowed me to learn quite easily. I’ll never forget what he did for me 10/10

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Nadeem. He was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He was always punctual and had a very appreciable attitude towards teaching. He managed to show me some of the difficult cases covered in the MTO guide, and was always eager to explain how to drive in scenarios which are a bit ambiguous in the guide. In cases when I made mistakes, he would not let me panic and nicely point out how I should have performed in those cases. I passed my G2 and I am confident driving. I highly recommend Nadeem. It was a great experience.

I took 5 hours lesson before exam having a pause of a year of driving. I am recommend Iqbal as an instructor. For G2 I chose AMB school and passed since first attempt as well 1 year ago. Fatah was my instructor during 3 hours lessons. He taught me perfect in all aspects of exam in details. I have trnted instructor’s cars. I recommend also Toronto Metro East exam centre.

Negative experience: Terrible. They ripped me off for the package. I completed in class in March 2020 and they refused to give me my driving lessons once everything opened up. No refund given. Horrible driving school! They keep deleting my reviews and I’ll keep putting it back up.

Fantastic experience: I did the G2 package 2 of AMB and it was definitely worth it. The in class sessions were super informative and the teacher was super nice. When you get your in car driving instructions, be sure to ask for Iqbal too! I passed my G2 with only the in-car hours provided with the package and Iqbal was super patient and really helps you to prepare for your G2!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school. Took my driving lessons with Nadeem and he was brilliant. Very calm, and taught me all the basics of driving in a chaotic city like Toronto. Broke down all the forms of parking into simple to follow steps and gave good feedback whenever I made a mistake on what to watch out for. As a result, I passed my G2 test despite being slightly nervous. Faheem taught the theory section and was also great in answering any questions the class had. Overall, a great experience.

Negative experience: Do not take your driving lessons from here. I signed up for 5 hours of lesson to prepare me for my G2. My instructor was Nadeem. He was helpful in my first lesson, but stopped teaching me for lesson 2 and 3. He would sit there and instruct me where to go, without teaching me anything new. He was not paying attention to the road and CONSTANTLY going onto his phone. I felt like an Uber driver driving him around. I tried to complain about him to AMB, and they claimed he was never on his phone. Do not waste your money!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my experience working with Nasim!!! He's an amazing instructor. When I was studying to take my G2 road test, I had a different instructor who was horrible. I asked AMB if I could get a new instructor and they paired me with Nasim. He was very patient but firm in how he taught me and his experience is very high in working wih all levels of drivers. As a driver who was in a car accident years ago, Nasim coached me and helped me build my confidence on the road. I overcame a lot of my fears and was able to pass my G2 test in one take. He was such a great teacher that I recently called him to provide lessons for my G road test, which I also passed. Thanks so much Nasim!!

Fantastic experience: My driving instructor Tajul was a very effective teacher, and by the end of my lessons I felt very confident to pass the g2 exam
