Expérience fantastique: Je viens de rentrer chez moi après un test de conduite de classe 6 réussi avec ICBC lors de ma première tentative. Je le dis parce que je le dois à Randy et Katrina de Cedar Motorcycle School. Ils proposent d'excellents cours dans une ambiance détendue (préparez-vous à rencontrer de très sympathiques golden retrievers), et adaptent leur enseignement en fonction de la préparation, des besoins d'apprentissage, etc. de chaque élève. Ils sont clairement très instruits et expérimentés en conduite de moto. Ils sont accessibles, sympathiques, et vraiment très drôles aussi. À 62 ans et en tant que nouveau conducteur, je n'ai pas hésité à suivre trois cours avec Randy et Katrina : le cours MST de 4 sessions, et deux cours de circulation, un avec Randy et l'autre avec Katrina. C'était utile d'avoir des instructeurs différents pour le même cours de circulation car leurs styles variés ont augmenté mon apprentissage. Même contenu, juste une livraison légèrement différente - et les deux très efficaces. De plus, il s'est avéré que l'itinéraire que nous avons suivi dans les cours de circulation était exactement celui requis pour le test de conduite - quel bonus ! En tant que personne de nature prudente qui se tourne vers la moto un peu plus tard dans la vie, je dis à quiconque envisageant ce sport : appelez Randy et Katrina immédiatement et bénéficiez dès que possible de leur expertise ! Formez de bonnes habitudes tôt. Quand vous tenez votre permis de classe 6 dans la main, vous serez heureux de l'avoir fait. Moi, je le suis vraiment !

Expérience fantastique: Je viens de terminer le cours de compétences en moto et je suis impressionné par la manière dont le cours est enseigné. Katrina et Randy s'assurent que vous avez les connaissances et les compétences nécessaires à la fin du cours. Je recommande vivement l'école de moto Cedar.

Expérience fantastique: L'école de moto Cedar est de premier ordre !!! Randy et Catrina sont les instructeurs les plus soutenants, attentionnés, compétents et hilarants que j'ai jamais rencontrés ! Je suis tellement heureux et chanceux d'avoir eu l'opportunité qu'ils m'aient formé ! Et je suis plus qu'excité d'avoir enfin mon permis de moto ! Je me sens enfin en sécurité en conduisant grâce à la richesse de connaissances et d'expérience de conduite qu'ils ont tous les deux et qu'ils m'ont transmises. Expérience fantastique: Juillet 2024, j'ai assisté à l'école de motocyclettes Cedar. Randy est un excellent enseignant et a été fortement recommandé. Il n'a pas déçu. Il n'y a pas moyen d'expliquer complètement sa méthode, mais il est authentique. Son style d'enseignement est complet et précis. Il apporte avec lui de nombreuses années d'expérience en conduite. En dehors de la classe, Randy est un entraîneur. Il enseigne et fait confiance sans effort. Je recommande vivement le cours de sécurité de deux nuits et deux jours.

Expérience fantastique: Je viens de terminer le cours de MST, c'était incroyable. Randy et Katrina sont formidables, drôles et extrêmement compétents. Ils travaillent avec vous et n'ont pas peur de corriger vos erreurs, et ils le font à chaque fois. Ils ont une large variété de vélos à essayer, ce qui est génial pour voir quel style vous aimez. La confiance et les connaissances en sécurité que j'ai acquises grâce à eux ne s'oublieront jamais. Je voyagerais de Victoria à Nanaimo n'importe quel jour pour suivre un autre cours. Randy se soucie vraiment et est enthousiaste à propos de ce qu'il enseigne, et c'est l'un des meilleurs instructeurs que j'ai jamais eus dans n'importe quelle industrie.

Expérience fantastique: Absolument incroyable, je le recommande fortement, tout le monde était super sympathique, beaucoup de blagues géniales m'ont aidé à briser de mauvaises habitudes, j'ai appris beaucoup plus que je ne pensais, des instructeurs très compétents et serviables !

Expérience fantastique: Thank you Randy for all that you taught me this summer on your MST course. Yesterday I completed the road test and passed very well. For anyone looking to get into riding motorcycles take lessons regardless of past experience. I learned so much from Randy and still have more to learn but at least now I know the necessity of defensive riding/driving. Left hand turning cagers can kill or injure you if you are not always scanning and paying attention.

The way you are as a person, and the way your are around motorcycles, made me fee confident as a participant. I passed my road test on Tuesday afternoon and it was partially due to the knowledge that your course teaches. The only concern I had about the test that I could control, was the u-turn. I did it relatively well, all things considered. You were spot on about the u-turn location: dead end, wide enough for cars to park on street. Anyway, hope you’re doing well. Thanks again. Expérience fantastique: Randy and Katrina are fantastic, they make the course a lot fun. I have been riding off road for years and wanted to gain some road skills for my new hobby, so I took their course/MST. They go through all the beginner basics, but include some additional knowledge of clutch work and touch on higher speed turns. Push right to go right, simply FANTASTIC. Thank you very much Randy and Katrina, I feel more relaxed street riding, even in traffic.

Expérience fantastique: Came for the lessons, stayed for the golden retrievers. Randy and Katrina are fantastic instructors. So good, that you don't even realize you are learning. Spent the better part of 4 days with mosquito ridden evenings, monsoon like weather, and scorching sun. Through it all Randy kept morale up with and endless parade of jokes and witticisms while he and Katrina patiently walked us through the series of drills. If you do take a course with Cedar Motorcycle, say hi to 'Brat' for me ;)

Expérience fantastique: I joined Randy and Katrina for a weekend motorcycle skills course (with MST) in May 2023. I had absolutely zero experience on a motorcycle and very little idea of what to expect. Despite my inexperience, Randy and Katrina managed to get me up and riding over the weekend, passing the skills test, and now hitting the road with heaps more confidence and riding comprehension than I had going in. I can't imagine getting into riding without taking a skills course first, and I can't imagine a better course experience than that provided by Cedar Motorcycle Riding School. Expérience fantastique: Randy and Katrina are awesome. Aimed at all experience levels and a great learning environment. All the slow speed skills you could ask for starting out and the MST at the end seems easy compared to what they get you to practice.

Expérience fantastique: Took my mst course with this company, first time riding a motorcycle, and I passed my skills test. Randy and Katrina are excellent instructors with tons of knowledge to help guide you. They have plenty of bikes to choose from to practice on, and the bike you think you may like might not be for you. Go at your own pace, listen and keep trying. Practice is the key. I made friends and felt like family under their guidance. It's clear they love what they do and I would highly recommend newbies to learn with Cedar Motorcycle Riding School. Expérience fantastique: It has been an absolute pleasure being part of Randy's courses and getting to know him and his wife (and his animals!!). It has been a great course with very honest and revealing information about true-life situations, physics, function and practice. The atmosphere provided gives a sense of levity while providing facts, information and a pursuit of 'truly 'knowing' for ourselves' - individually - what we must expect from the bike, as opposed to what we may think we know. I appreciate the process Randy uses to help me understand the motorcycle, riding, and awareness for riding confidently moving forward. It was fun and informative course, it does help to go in with the attitude for learning and being a classmate as well as have great classmates who want to promote safe riding. Expérience fantastique: I have been riding since 1975 and recently took Randy's advanced course for handling bikes at slow speeds. As expected I knew some of the techniques however and also as expected I took some nuggets away with me. Thanks Randy for the great work you do. Pushing this 950 pound plus bike just got a lot easier and safer at slow slow speeds.

Expérience fantastique: Randy is down to earth, has a great selection of bikes and is incredibly thorough with his process. I learnt so many crucial things that have already saved my life several times over. Before the course I was trying to teach myself and constantly stalling the bike, had no clue how to do truly tight turns from a stop, and clutch/throttle control. I took him up on some private riding training to prepare me for my ICBC road test and because of his training, I was able to Ace the test, complete all maneuvers and I am now beginning to pursue my dream to Race Motorbikes and taking racer training courses in Vancouver. I always highly recommend that ANYONE riding a bike take his course, to ensure you are starting your journey with strong and correct fundamentals. His ongoing support as a friend and giving back to the biking community by hosting events and get togethers is awesome too.

The detailed care and clear guidance that he offered in his advanced theory program has become central to how I ride a bike and the more I ride, the more it's all coming together for me. The five people in the course were all at different levels. Randy took the time to care for everyone individually. You get what you put into it - practice as much as you can while having Randy there for guidance. Cost very fair for the intensive, thorough course. Randy's a pro!

Expérience fantastique: Never rode a bike before and in the course of four days Randy taught me what I needed to pass the MST. I learned a lot of great safe riding skills that I use everyday. He also took me out prior my road test and I passed the road test with flying colors and ZERO demerits. Highly recommended! :)

Randy has the experience and training to inspire confidence and safe maneuvering, while delivering his unique curriculum in a relaxed, fun environment. Small classes, a variety of bikes to learn on, and burgers on Sunday. Cedar Motorcycle School sets the bar.

I knew nothing about bikes or riding (had only been a passenger) and what he taught in 4 days has stayed with me ever since. I still hear his voice as I'm approaching every intersection, and see that car waiting to turn left. Thank you Randy!!

Expérience fantastique: At the age 53 to start with motorcycles was not easy decision, I'm sooo glad I did and with Randy's help it was way too easy. First year I did 28 000 km and still can't get enough - Thank You Randy !!!!!

Expérience fantastique: I took the course to cross learning to ride motorcycles off my bucket list. With Randy's help I am now enjoying riding for my second season with a full license. It wasn't always easy, but worth it!

Expérience fantastique: Even with having a little bit of experience on a bike, Randys course taught me alot. Just just about riding, but about Maintenance and care for bikes which is really helpful. It's tough to know what to google if you don't know what you're looking for.

Expérience fantastique: Randy was a great instructor. Was on his first course of 2017. The weather created a bit of a challenge ( snow in March on the island.. go figure). We had to adapt the class.. but all went well. The instruction was very informative, and will hopefully continue to keep me safe on the road...keep up the great work!
