Expérience fantastique: Good driving instructions Instructor- David O

Expérience négative: My son has completed 48% of his online course. He got an email saying he can book in-car lessons now. We called YDs and they said their system is showing 44% completion and he can't book till he's done 50%. I asked why the discrepancy in what he is seeing, what they are seeing, and the email. She said their system sends random emails. I said I would like to speak to someone who I can address my concern too...random inaccurate emails is not what I paid for. She said I can send an email to info. I asked that she have someone call me back, to which she said there are only two people working and no higher management to escalate my concern to till after the holidays (today is Dec 30) and she can't guarantee when I will get a call back.

Expérience négative: Sure, COVID has lots of stuff backed up. Sure, COVID is responsible for all the woes of the world - such as 'our website constantly crashes because of COVID' and 'we have 90-minute wait times to answer calls because of COVID' and our owner Mr. Lombardi can't return phone calls because of...you guessed it...COVID. This place is a rip-off. Pure and total money grab. All the good reviews you see here were probably written by Mr. Lombardi. If there was an option for ZERO stars, that's what I would have chosen.

Expérience négative: Registered my son in mid-April and it has been mostly a disaster. Dealing with their online course has been pure torture. It was slow, took forever to load and would log him out randomly and not save his progress. It took an hour just to get 2% completed! What is worse is that they would not let you schedule a driving lesson until you finish at least 50% of the online course. Which is ridiculous since I could have just registered him for just the in car lessons package and scheduled lessons right away. I finally got fed up and called customer service. They said there were problems with the online course and suggested he do it at 3 am in the morning when there is less traffic. I said that was not what we want to do nor what we paid for. Then he said my son could take a virtual classroom course one month later for 3 days but I said we are wasting time this summer, and he needs his in class lessons right away as we spent weeks trying to do their online course. They then scheduled two lessons in late August with an instructor in Ajax, only to cancel them just last week since the instructor is going on paternity leave. Didn’t they know that ahead of time??? They also said I should call back to reschedule the lessons. Why didn’t they hire someone to cover his leave and simply notify me of the new instructor’s name? This has been the most frustrating experience for both me and my son. The hold time on their customer service line are long. The first time I called I was told I was the sixth call in line only to be hung up on by when I was the first caller. You cannot speak to a supervisor. They only transfer you to a voice mail. I left a message and no one called me back. If I could give 0 stars I would have. Do not recommend. Any other driving training program will give you a certificate for insurance.

Expérience fantastique: I have never even driven a car before and after taking this course with Maurice as my instructor, i feel incredibly prepared. The classroom environment was clean and the course material was informative and interesting. Would def reccomend :)

Expérience fantastique: The driving programs at YD are exceptional and thorough. Instructors are friendly and give great tips for improvement. The price is right for this great program which helps lower future insurance costs significantly.
