Expérience fantastique: Red is hands down the best driving instructor ever. He is a really sweet, patience, and funny guy. I have anxiety and I think he could tell I was really nervous the first time driving with traffic. Because he made me feel very comfortable with music. He turned on the radio on and I felt way comfortable and started to sing.

Expérience fantastique: I had a great learning experience with Iman! He was very knowledgeable, professional and encouraging. I did two 2 hour lessons with him and was able to pass my G test! I highly recommend him if you are needing lessons. I had one lesson with Zig and he was very kind and friendly but a bit too chatty which was very distracting for me. He also didn’t feel I needed any help and just kept complimenting my driving where as when I had my lessons with Iman he taught me so much and corrected many things I was doing incorrectly. I’m really glad I went with my gut and asked for a different instructor so I could feel confident in going for my G test. I don’t think I would have passed if not for having my lessons with Iman.

Expérience fantastique: The in car lessons were a really great experience, I feel really prepared for my road test. Ivan was my instructor and he was awesome! He was always willing to bend the plans a little bit to make it easier for me, such as picking me up from the school or giving me full choice of the car I felt most comfortable using. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get it done before the summer but thanks to him, I got it done with time to spare! can't think of a single thing we didn't talk about, we discussed it all. Plus he made it really fun! I used to be absolutely petrified to drive in London but after driving around London during the lessons with, it doesn't look so scary anymore :) The mock exam at the end was extremely helpful in determining what I should be working on before my actual test. Expérience fantastique: My in car instructor, Ray, was a big help and I was able to pass my g2 test pretty easily because of him. The online portion was also very easy to follow with all the information you need.

Expérience fantastique: My experiences with carmen's is not like the other 2 reviews at all! I'm very particular about educational institutes, especially when it comes down to my safety on the road. I did some research around local MTO-approved driving schools, and this ended up being my informed choice. The same driving instructor who instructed me for my G2 road test, also instructed me for my full G. I passed my G2 on my first attempt and though it wasn't until my second attempt that I got my full G, my driving instructor was incredibly understanding of the mistakes I did and patiently went over them with me multiple times. Looking for the MTO handbook now while teaching my friends, there is almost virtually not a concept that my instructor didn't go through in my 10 in-vehicle hours. I have had my full G for over a year now, with my own car, and I continue to maintain a clean record and a reputation of being a reliable driver. Choosing the right driving school is a hard decision in what is a very important milestone in you or your child's life. My experience with carmens was very pleasant, and would like to make this decision easy for the next person by strongly recommending them (:

Expérience négative: I agree entirely with the other review here. The in-class went well but the driving instructor was impossible to book with and when it did happen, the instructor would do personal errands (like picking up his daughter etc) during the 2 hour driving lesson. When we would call to book an in-car lesson, he would suggest we call back in 10 days....if he ever returned our calls. Unbelievably pathetic in terms of customer setvice. Use another company for your drivers ed.

Expérience négative: I took Carmens driving course a few years ago, although my in class work went great and I received 90% when it came to in car lessons my driver was always overbooked and refused to pick me up from my house despite there being a $20 fee that was agreed upon to do so. After getting down to 3 hours left in driving and a few weeks left to complete the course my driver never got back to me despite agreeing to back date my driving lessons to give me time to complete them on his schedule, well that never happened and he let the course expire without any call or any notice to Carmens, this left my parents out over $600 and me a lot of time. Due to my g1 expiring soon this course has been popping up in my head as one of largest past regrets, I just wanted to make this review while it was refreshed in my mind to warn anyone looking to try this course that Carmens doesn't take responsibility for their drivers actions and that they will refuse to help in the situation that this occurs. Be wary and try someone else, that's my only advice after dealing with Carmens
