Expérience fantastique: Je recommanderais 100 % Overdrive à quiconque cherchant à obtenir son 1A, une atmosphère vraiment solide en classe et dans le camion, des déjeuners faits maison fournis, un atelier chauffé pour apprendre les pré-voyages et les tests d'air, en plus d'une équipe de formateurs solide et d'une flotte de camions étincelante.

Expérience fantastique: Si vous cherchez une formation pour votre 1A, Dan, Kevin et Howard vont être difficiles à battre. La formation qu'ils proposent était à la fois positive et stimulante, et là où certaines autres écoles sont connues pour crier sur leurs élèves (allez lire quelques avis si vous ne me croyez pas), j'ai trouvé rafraîchissant d'aller dans une école comme Overdrive où vous êtes encouragé et soutenu dès le premier jour.

Expérience fantastique: J'y suis allé pour le cours d'endorsement de 1 jour. Ils étaient fantastiques, vous mettent définitivement dans de bonnes conditions pour réussir. Je retournerai pour le 3A si nécessaire. Je recommande fortement.

Expérience fantastique: Je suis arrivé à Overdrive sans expérience de conduite d'un semi-remorque et avec peu ou pas d'expérience de conduite en manuel. Au moment où je suis parti, cinq semaines plus tard, j'ai réussi le test SGI du premier coup. Dan et Kevin étaient de super enseignants et semblaient se soucier autant que moi d'obtenir mon permis. Ils sont très faciles à côtoyer et très détendus. Je ne saurais les recommander assez !

Expérience fantastique: When I got my class 1 through an oilfield company it was: Go Go Go. I wasn’t taught properly. What I needed was a professional to walk with me - side by side through everything like: - How a truck works - How a truck and driver work best together - What companies who want to hire me are looking for - What to consider when driving someone else’s truck - Tips and tricks for getting out of binds - And most importantly how to get home safely to my family. Dan was that professional for me, and I’m forever grateful for the time, focus, and energy he put into training me the right way! I would trust Dan and his team with my life…because I already did.

Expérience fantastique: I'll say it right away, I couldn't recommend this place enough for anyone trying to get a truck license. For me, I had Dan as my instructor to get my 3A license and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He's personable, very knowledgeable, and will accomodate in every way he can to see it through with you until you pass the SGI test. During the training, he is extremely patient and maintains a good vibe, but also gives great constructive criticisms on how you can further tune your technique, the man is a natural-born teacher. Not only that, but his wife, Lori, also makes home cooked lunches for the students which I was not expecting at all but it really showed these people go above and beyond to not only to train but to make it a great experience altogether. Awesome place, awesome trainers, and my absolute go-to suggestion for anyone looking for training!

Expérience fantastique: The options are starting to be endless for training schools, so glad I went with Overdrive. I had Kevin as my driving instructor for most of the time. He’s very calm and patient. I’m not brand new to driving, but it was years ago I drove a tandem for my dad on the farm. So to learn how to drive a semi was interesting and took some work for me. I went from being in healthcare for 24 years to driving a semi. I’m still learning lots on the job but it’ll come eventually. This is going to sound cliché but if you want a school where you’re not just a number they know you by name, this is where you want to be. It’s such a laid back atmosphere you will get in the truck and start practicing your backing after a lesson. Dan (the owner) likes to talk and tell stories so the in class portion isn’t as painful I mean don’t get me wrong it’s still painful. I was successful in my final tests except my air. I had to go back and it was only silly little things that slipped my mind at the time of testing, that is so stressful at the end but it’s over quick. Thank you to Overdrive truck driver training school !!! Especially Kevin my driver instructor who I convinced to check out the Langham scale for educational purposes. Turns out they wanted to do a level 1 on our truck that day ! Bad idea hahaha so sorry My husband said that was a rookie mistake. The only constructive criticism I can give is I wish it was more organized as far as when to be there who’s starting when and Dans paperwork….but that is probably what gives it a small company feel so maybe don’t change that ! Dan stay the same looking for that paper on your desk and deciding the day of, who’s starting when. Thank you again so much ! I’m so excited to start my new career drivin that truck !

The instructor has a lot of patience with his students and has quite the character! Never a dull moment with Dan even when you think your wrecking his truck he will use those mistakes in making you a better driver. Most importantly his wife Lori is one of the nicest and sweetest ladies you'll find. She is willing to cook up a whole feast at lunch time for all the students! You will not be disappointed by her cooking. You wanna know how to become one of her favorites? Well I'll tell you right now you'll never beat me, but I'll let you in on a little secret. If you bring her a fresh bucket of milk from a dairy farm you'll be golden. Most importantly you will have a good time taking your 1A's and will learn the right way on how to drive the truck. The quality of driving they help you develop is high calibre, and they care about there students on an individual basis. Expérience fantastique: I would 100% recommend Overdrive. Dan is awesome, patient, hardworking, kind, friendly, and a wonderful teacher! He trained me on b-trains and 53feet van. Where another training school only have 53 feet trailers. The b- trains are a get Asset to Overdrive. When you finish the courses with him, you’ll be a safe truck driver, no matter what your background knowledge or information is! I would like to appreciate Lori, Dan’s wife, for the great homemade lunches she made for us every day! Which I was not expecting at all.

Expérience fantastique: This was a great place to get my 3A licence, I made an awesome decision to come here and meet Dan, one the most genuine guys you will ever meet and at lunch time his wife would make us great food, these are good people. Know I had never driven a semi truck and in one week Dan made me a good driver, I got my air breaks, I got my inspection done the first day we went for my test I passed, but my driven I messed up, I had to do it a few more times after that and I felt like I wanted to quit and do it in an auto trans instead of the manual trans, but Dan didn't let me, he said I could do it and he believed in me and finally I got it. Dan is a smart, kind, patient, and very skilled experienced driver who also is gifted in teaching. No matter what your background may be, Dan will be able to adapt to each individual and give you the necessary tools to pass your test and most importantly tips that will keep you safe once you get your license.

Expérience fantastique: Dan is just straight up a great instructor. During the "in class" portion of the program he takes the mundane information from the sgi manual and manages to relay it in an understandable, and practical way. He often tells stories from his many years of being a professional driver, but they always served a purpose in helping to better your own truck driving skills. In the truck, Dan got me shifting and thinking in a different manner. He drove home the importance of progressive shifting and how that will bring up my fuel economy and save me from mechanical issues in the long run. He stressed a number of times that he wants to train people to be good operators, not just steering wheel holders. Dan's wife Lori also provided some amazing home cooked lunches during our training which i was not expecting! My favourite was the pork chops with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, and HOMEMADE apple sauce!! Could not believe it! Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend training with Dan at Overdrive!!
