Expérience fantastique: Je recommande vivement l'École de conduite de la ville / Auto-École Cité. Mon expérience a été fantastique, et j'ai réussi tous mes examens pour obtenir mon permis du premier coup. En tant que conducteur novice anxieux avec peu d'occasions de pratiquer à la maison, il m'a fallu un certain temps pour acquérir la confiance et les compétences nécessaires pour conduire. J'ai apprécié que l'école propose des sessions de pratique supplémentaires pour renforcer mes compétences en conduite et pour aborder mes faiblesses. Après plusieurs années, j'ai enfin eu le courage de passer l'examen de conduite, et j'ai été impressionné par l'organisation de l'école ; ils ont même pu retrouver mon dossier sans aucun problème. Mes interactions avec les enseignants et le personnel ont toujours été professionnelles et respectueuses. J'ai particulièrement aimé la réactivité de Tom lorsqu'il s'agissait de planifier des leçons (son emploi du temps se remplit assez rapidement, donc il faut être organisé et patient) ; il se soucie vraiment de ses élèves. La plateforme en ligne et les ressources supplémentaires fournies, l'option bilingue (français ou anglais), ainsi que la situation pratique de l'école près du métro Snowdon, étaient également d'excellents avantages. Après quelques mois de conduite seul, je me souviens encore de Tom soulignant l'importance d'être un conducteur défensif. Je recommanderais cette école à quiconque. À Tom : mes enfants étaient ravis de me voir conduire, et j'apprécie tous les conseils que vous m'avez donnés sur la transition vers la conduite avec une voiture pleine d'enfants excités. J'envisage d'acheter une voiture bientôt pour maximiser mon temps à l'école.

Expérience fantastique: Je dois donner ma plus haute recommandation à Tom de l'École de conduite City pour m'avoir appris à conduire. En tant que personne dans la soixantaine, je n'avais jamais conduit auparavant et Tom m'a mis à l'aise, détendu et m'a toujours encouragé tout en m'enseignant ce qu'il fallait pour devenir un conducteur sûr et responsable. J'ai réussi l'examen de la SAAQ du premier coup ! Pour tous ceux qui n'ont jamais conduit et qui pourraient être un peu plus âgés que la foule adolescente habituelle, je vous encourage à consulter l'École de conduite City. Vous ne le regretterez pas.

Expérience fantastique: Depuis le moment où je me suis inscrit à l'École de conduite de la ville à Québec pour ma formation de permis de conduire, j'ai su que j'étais entre de bonnes mains. Le professionnalisme et le dévouement de mes instructeurs, Tom et Joseph, ont dépassé toutes mes attentes. En tant qu'étudiant de 40 ans entouré de camarades de classe d'adolescents à début vingtaine, j'étais inquiet à l'idée de me sentir mal à l'aise. Cependant, Tom et Joseph ont créé une atmosphère incroyablement accueillante et inclusive qui m'a fait sentir chez moi, prouvant qu'il n'est jamais trop tard pour apprendre. Ce qui distingue vraiment l'École de conduite de la ville, c'est l'attention personnalisée et la flexibilité qu'ils offrent. Trouver un équilibre entre les leçons et mes responsabilités en tant que parent de trois enfants était décourageant, mais Tom et Joseph ont fait des efforts extraordinaires pour s'adapter à mon emploi du temps chargé, faisant preuve de patience et de compréhension à chaque tournant. Leur engagement à trouver des créneaux horaires qui fonctionnaient pour moi, malgré mon emploi du temps difficile, était tout simplement incroyable. De plus, la qualité de l'enseignement à l'École de conduite de la ville est inégalée. Tom et Joseph possèdent un mélange rare d'expertise, de patience et d'encouragement qui a enrichi de manière significative mon expérience d'apprentissage. Ils ont veillé à ce que chaque leçon soit non seulement éducative mais aussi agréable, favorisant un environnement où moi, et beaucoup d'autres, pouvions prospérer sans ressentir la pression de l'âge ou de l'expérience. À Tom et Joseph, merci d'avoir rendu mon parcours pour obtenir mon permis de conduire si enrichissant. Votre enseignement exceptionnel et votre soutien ne m'ont pas seulement doté des compétences pour être un conducteur confiant, mais ont également montré que l'âge n'est qu'un nombre lorsqu'il s'agit d'apprendre de nouvelles compétences. Je ne peux pas recommander suffisamment l'École de conduite de la ville à quiconque cherchant à apprendre à conduire au Québec. Que vous ayez 18, 40 ou 60 ans, c'est l'endroit où vous trouverez compréhension, flexibilité et une éducation de premier ordre.

Expérience fantastique: My experience with City Driving School was awesome. I am not a fast learner, specially in driving, and it was a big challenge for me for a long time to start and get my permit. I hesitated for years and when I started my online zoom lessons, from the first sessions, I noticed that it was very organized, good and informative, and I learned a lot. In addition, group discussions will let students to get familiar with how other new drivers think, which is so informative to improve themselves. During attending the practical in-car lessons, I had a very good experience in practicing driving. My instructor, Thomas SPIEGLER, is a very knowledgeable, patient, and skillful person in his job. I learned a lot from him, and with all his help, I could pass the knowledge-test, and road-test, the first time. I highly recommend this driving school for those who like to get their driving license, successfully and also, learn how to drive, the right way.

Driving lessons were very helpful, and they provide you with the confidence you need to learn behind the wheel. A lot of good tips were communicated during the driving sessions. Shout out to Jo! Highly recommend enrolling if you are looking for a driving school in the city. If you put in the time, they will help you pass your knowledge and road test.

Expérience fantastique: Having been on and off trying to get my licenses I finally decided to get some extra lessons at City Driving school and it did not disappoint. 4 years of driving with my learners permit and after a few lessons from Tom I was able to pass the exam on the first try!!!!! Highly recommend :)

Expérience négative: The worst school and i would never recommend. After doing everything on time they give me an incomplete attestation. They charge more than other schools $65/hr for extra hr, while other schools are charging $35/hr. The teacher does not care about student, just care about money. On road, teachers will have very rude behavior and instead of giving you confidence they will completely discourages you. Start driving lesson with 10 min delay and finish ten min before the timing. There is no proper check on road instructors and no feedback system from the student. For each lesson you will have to wait for a month. I never write a bad review for anything but this place, I need to put it on.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent driving school! I let my license lapse for several years, so needed to start over. Even in these challenging times of COVID, City Driving School went above and beyond, showing patience and understanding to an old guy like me! Kudos to the owner, Tom!

Expérience fantastique: Got to hand it for Tom for keeping things running during Covid, depsite all of the challenges. Tom follows through on his promise to gaurantee that his classes teach you the exact values you need to drive safetly and pass your exam, while keeping things light hearted and comical. I gotta say, his "if you need to know one thing" messages stick with me as driver years later. The SAAQ program format has a learning curve. My recommendation is ask questions, be patient, stay organised, and plan ahead. Also, and I can't stress this enough, you MUST practice during the year. That is what will make the difference. The program takes 1 year. Get in a car every week with your accompanying driver and practice everything until you feel good. Everything will come together. Ask for Dennis for your in-car, if you're struggling. Learned more from him in the 2 last lessons than I did in the 10 previous ones. And he is an absolute hoot! Cheers!

Expérience négative: This driving school is very shady. This guy has been stealing my money, refuses to answer phone calls, does not return e-mails, and is not able to provide the service. I have been waiting over 1 month for a driving appointment and he has made no effort to provide the service that I already paid. Tom is nothing but a thief. He promised 14 hours of driving, my exam is in a couple of months and I only drove twice. I do not recommend anybody to this driving school. As well he threatened to cut me from his prior classes saying that I had not payed which is not true. All he wants is money but unable to provide the service. Technic would have been a better driving school choice then this fraud. If you think I’m lying read the other reviews that people left him. There’s no way this guy should even be in business. I will be contacting the SAAQ as well as an attorney.

Expérience négative: L’une des pire expérience de ma vie comme cliente. Je n’ai jamais oublié le service affreux de 2 instructeurs puis le manque de respect du programme de pratique. Je n’avais pas annulé pcq j’avais payé d’avance pour avoir un petit rabais. J’étais plus jeune… et inexpérimentée.

Expérience fantastique: Tom is the best driving teacher! I was terrified of driving, but thanks to Tom I now have the confidence and skills to drive. Would highly recommend this school to everyone.

Expérience positive: Was very happy to see a driving school adapt and give courses during COVID-19 period. However impossible to reach by phone been waiting months to get practical classes. Thank you for responding so quickly. I understand covid makes everything challenging but much appreciate the call we had today.

Expérience négative: Back in the day when I was learning to drive, I dared to tell my instructor that he was stressing me. He got angry and ordered me to head back to the school. I was never refunded the couple of classes I still had with them. Stay away.

Expérience négative: Communicating with this driving school has been an absolute nightmare and waste of time. The passive aggressive behaviour of whomever controls their online presence can be seen in the way they respond to their PAYING clients reviews here and do not pay attention to using correct spelling. This business would profit financially a lot more if they actually saw value in their PAYING clients concerns instead of writing extensive replies that reek of arrogance and unprofessionalism. People do not write these kinds of reviews for nothing.

Expérience fantastique: I came to City Driving School on the recommendation of a friend, it did not disappoint! I appreciated the flexibility in the schedule for both the courses and the in-car training. I appreciated that I could book sessions online at my convenience. The staff is experienced, they know their stuff and what it takes to become a good driver in Quebec. Tom told me when I needed to work on something and, while it wasn't always easy to hear (learning to drive in your mid-30s has its challenges), he was always right. Now I've had my license for 8 months and I couldn't be prouder. I definitely recommend this school for students of all ages.

Expérience fantastique: I can only praise this school and the staff. Tom - the owner and main teacher - is an experienced driving teacher that knows his stuff very well. His theoretical classes are very well prepared and it was a pleasure to attend all of them. Not only were they interesting and right to the point but actually life lessons as well. Yes, I know this is not what you are looking for but think of it as an added bonus. The practical courses with Tom and Simon were a real treat. Not only do you learn a lot but these were pleasant moments. I have to give a special mention for the humanity of the staff, all of them. Not only are they very friendly but also they try to accommodate you the best they can. All in all a very pleasant adventure that I only can recommend. And talking about efficiency: I got my permit after the first try. And that's thanks to them. Thank you all at City Driving School!

Expérience fantastique: The staff is very experienced and incredibly friendly. It's not the cheapest driving school around but they make up for it with awesome teachers and great classes. The main teacher there is actually the owner of the place called Thom. I had all my classes with him so far and he's very understanding, up to date in terms of culture and funny. Each class with his was a treat.

Expérience fantastique: French driving teacher is extremely efficient, I passed my driving test on the first try with ease.

Expérience négative: Instructor was not helpful and took advantage of his position of power. I wanted to take some classes to adapt driving in the city, since I have a driver license from other country that I can use here. The instructor instead of encouraging me just me feel fearful. I then felt coerced to paying for more classes, which I took and didn't help at all.

Expérience négative: Poor quality of training. Responding to the owner who wanted more details. False information provided when registering for services. Make us pay for book and registering on the course, but when we realise the quaility wasnt what we required and up to standard, they would not issue any refund, not even partial. This detailed review should enough for the school to review its standards and policies which are poor.

Expérience fantastique: Great teacher happy to learn in class lesson, they explain very well, very patient in teaching road test until you got your liscense never give up to teach until you know how road rules done, excellent experience with my pretty instructor so patient and on time always love it thumbs more power .
