Expérience négative: UPD2: They've just edited the answer removing all the passive-aggressive remarks. There was no apology given. UPD: Jennifer, what is wrong with you? You already have my phone number, you had it since September, you've even called me. Jennifer Knox, centre manager, is a terrible person. I explicitly told her that I have autism and stutter, and it's hard for me to talk. But not only she ignored it, and refused to handle the matter over email-- when I called she asked me to tell her my phone number. And when I proposed to send it in an email, because it's hard for me to speak, she said, verbatim, that I'm doing great. Crazy impolite. I suppose passive-aggressive answers to the reviews here is also Jennifer. And I'm a grown-up. So if your child is even a bit neurodiverse, it is definitely not a place for them. Also, there's no way to file a complaint, their customer service is basically non-existent.

Expérience fantastique: Je peux dire avec confiance que ma décision de suivre une auto-école avec Young Drivers a été la meilleure décision que j'ai jamais prise. Mon instructeur Shawn m'a tout appris ce que j'avais besoin de savoir et même plus, et il m'a rendu plus confiant dans mes capacités de conduite que je ne l'étais. C'est une personne incroyable et je lui faisais totalement confiance, même au point de fredonner des chants de Noël dans la voiture pendant que je conduisais. Personne ne regretterait jamais sa décision de faire cela avec Young Drivers. Et je retournerais volontiers n'importe quel jour.

Expérience fantastique: TLDR : Young Drivers Collingwood est une école de conduite de premier ordre, vous passerez de zéro à conducteur sûr grâce à leur programme. J'ai suivi le cours YD en ligne avec le pack de test routier G2 de la mi-2022 au début de 2023. J'avais Shawn comme mon instructeur et il a réussi à me transformer d'un conducteur sans confiance, sans expérience à un conducteur capable et sûr. Ma toute première leçon était aussi la première fois que je conduisais une voiture, ce qui n'était pas très joli car j'étais comme 'wow, je conduis vraiment une voiture !' et je n'avais également aucune idée de la façon dont j'avais besoin de tourner le volant pour faire des virages à gauche et à droite ou de la pression que je devais exercer sur les pédales pour arrêter et avancer. Je savais que j'avais besoin de leçons supplémentaires après la première leçon, car j'étais un peu lent à comprendre, mais je me suis amélioré et je me suis senti plus à l'aise à chaque leçon. Shawn a pu me donner des retours et des conseils utiles, me disant ce que je faisais bien, sur quoi je devais m'améliorer, et comment je devrais effectuer certaines tâches de manière efficace et sûre, comme le stationnement en parallèle. J'ai pu obtenir mon G2 et mon G, tous deux dès ma première tentative, donc je suis très reconnaissant pour les connaissances et l'expérience que l'équipe YD m'a fournies. Le personnel de YD Collingwood est de premier ordre et je recommanderai avec plaisir leurs leçons ! J'ai aimé la partie en ligne des leçons, pouvoir avancer à mon propre rythme était agréable avec mon emploi du temps. Le contenu était bon, un mélange de lecture, de vidéos et de matériaux interactifs. Le seul problème que j'ai eu avec, c'était l'expérience avec le logiciel. À l'époque, il n'y avait aucun moyen d'acheter des leçons supplémentaires depuis mon profil (je ne suis pas sûr que ce soit toujours le cas maintenant), donc j'ai décidé de les acheter depuis le site principal. Quand j'ai fait ça, il ne voulait que me faire créer un nouveau compte, ce que j'ai fait en utilisant mon e-mail et mon mot de passe existants. Je ferai avouer, j'aurais dû être un peu plus prudent avec ça. Cela dit, le site a accepté cela, car il n'a pas vérifié si un e-mail existant figurait déjà dans la base de données. Cela a essentiellement causé toutes sortes d'erreurs avec mon compte puisque deux entrées de mon e-mail et mot de passe étaient dans la base de données. Jennifer a pu résoudre ce problème pour moi afin que je puisse terminer mes leçons en ligne et compléter le cours. Si quelqu'un lit ceci et cherche à obtenir des leçons supplémentaires, veuillez passer par Jennifer d'abord. Cela empêchera les erreurs de connexion de se produire et cela évitera à tout le monde des maux de tête potentiels. Merci encore pour les leçons Shawn et le reste de l'équipe YD ! J'ai acquis beaucoup d'expérience grâce à vous tous, et je continue à utiliser ces connaissances pour ma conduite personnelle. Tous mes vœux ! en

Expérience fantastique: Prendre YD a été la meilleure décision que j'ai jamais prise pour ma fille et moi. Ce programme devrait être obligatoire pour chaque conducteur au Canada. Mon instructeur Shawn est extrêmement compétent et patient. En tant que femme dans la trentaine, apprenant à conduire pour la première fois, je n'aurais pas pu avoir un meilleur instructeur. Ce programme m'a fait devenir un bien meilleur conducteur et beaucoup moins nerveuse. Je vais continuer à transmettre des habitudes de conduite sûres à ma famille et mes amis.

Expérience fantastique: I know, I know, a very overdue thank you message to the Young Drivers Team in Collingwood. From the in person classroom lessons (provided with take home notes) to the in car vehicle lessons, the young drivers program was perfect. Shawn Knox was the ideal driving instructor, an absolutely exceptional instructor!! (btw, school’s are always looking for a new Gym Teacher! Haha!). Shawn was friendly, personable, clear with instructions, provided informative answers for questions, very patient, and beyond supportive (no question was ever a stupid question); while presenting himself with an encouraging and professional teaching style. Shawn constantly reassures that making mistakes is normal and expected, as long as you know how to correct them. Shawn excels at confidence building; providing incredible knowledge, while also how to apply that knowledge in different aspects of driving. I'm beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to take the Young Drivers course. I would highly recommend Shawn to any young or older driver. Fantastic experience!! Shawn best not retire yet, until my kids have been through him! (P.S, ask Shawn about his monkey, Charli!!)

I hadn’t driven a car before getting my lessons from Shawn and he was very patient with me while being a great instructor and teaching me everything he knows about car safety. In the span of a month and a half he took me from a beginner to passing my g2 test with no problems. Can’t thank him and the company enough. Expérience fantastique: Just completed the full online course with 10 hours of driving lessons, a 45 minute refresher before my road test and used the young drivers vehicle for my road test. Jennifer was so kind and accommodating when booking my lessons. She booked my G2 road test appointment the same day I asked about it. Shawn was my instructor and he was very knowledgeable and encouraging. I was a new driver with VERY limited experience and I was able to pass my G2 road test on my very first try without paying for anything on top of what I had already purchased. Expérience fantastique: I never had anyone to teach me how to drive so I decided to go with young drivers because I heard alot of good things about them, I started my course Jan 2020 and finished near March, I had shawn for most of my lesson he was a relaxed and great teach he knew what he was talking about, one day before my g2 road test everything got shut down, fast forward to September young drivers was able get me a road test in orillia my preload test and my final in car lesson I had Bob as my instructor and he is as informative as shawn was about road safety and answering any question I had asked. Expérience fantastique: I highly recommend using this driving school . I had Shawn as an instructor , he's a great teacher , outgoing and easy to get along with . Taught me how to be a safe driver and answered any questions I had . Tomorrow's my last day as Im going for my G2 and I have to say this was a great experience that I will never forget .
