Expérience négative: Veuillez éviter TTCC si vous recherchez une formation auprès d'une entreprise professionnelle. Essayer d'obtenir ma licence DZ auto a été un véritable cauchemar. Mes problèmes ont commencé lorsque j'ai débuté ma première formation. J'ai fait une double session et le camion que je devais conduire le lendemain était au garage (personne ne m'a informé de cela). Par conséquent, je n'avais aucune expérience de conduite et je ne pouvais pas passer le test. Après avoir réservé à nouveau le test et avoir pris une autre leçon de conduite pour m'entraîner, je me suis rendu au centre d'examen de conduite et le mauvais test avait été réservé par TTCC. Après avoir terminé ma partie Z et avoir échoué au D, j'ai finalement pu réserver un autre test. Cependant, lorsque je suis arrivé pour faire le test cette fois-ci, après avoir payé des frais de location de camion de 350 $, le camion que je devais conduire n'avait pas de feux de freinage fonctionnels - et encore une fois, personne ne m'en a informé. Après cela, j'essaie de récupérer mon argent pour cette horrible expérience que j'ai eue et je n'ai rien entendu. J'ai contacté Tammy June plusieurs fois et on m'a assuré que mes e-mails étaient transmis à quelqu'un qui pouvait m'aider, mais je n'ai rien entendu. J'habite à une heure du site de formation et du centre d'examen de conduite. Avec la conduite que j'ai faite, mes jours de congé, mon temps personnel et l'essence, et le coût du cours, j'ai dépensé des milliers à ce stade et j'ai peu de choses à montrer pour cela. C'était une expérience horrible avec cette entreprise peu professionnelle et désorganisée. Je conseillerais à quiconque souhaitant réserver avec eux d’aller ailleurs, la nature peu professionnelle de cette entreprise doit être connue. Veuillez économiser votre argent et trouver un autre endroit.

Expérience négative: Expérience Terrible - Évitez cette école à tout prix ! J'ai eu la pire expérience absolue dans cette école de camionnage. Dès le départ, tout semblait désorganisé, mais j'ai essayé de rester optimiste. Cependant, les choses ne faisaient que s'aggraver. Après avoir terminé toute la formation, j'ai été contraint d'attendre plusieurs jours—presque une semaine—juste pour passer mon examen final. Ce retard ridicule a gaspillé mon temps et mon argent, me laissant dans un limbo qui était au-delà de la frustration. Le manque de communication et de respect pour le temps des étudiants est épouvantable. Il est clair qu'ils ne se soucient pas de leurs étudiants ni de les aider à réussir. Faites-vous une faveur et trouvez une école plus professionnelle et efficace qui valorise ses étudiants. Cet endroit est un cauchemar !

Expérience négative: Je donne un avis d'une étoile uniquement parce que je ne peux pas donner zéro. Et je n'ai même pas encore assisté à l'école !! Grâce à Better Jobs Ontario, j'ai décidé de m'inscrire à TTCC à Ottawa Ouest, car c'est l'endroit le plus proche de chez moi. J'ai contacté Victoria pour commencer. Elle a fourni très peu d'informations dès le départ et n'a offert aucun soutien ni orientation tout au long du processus d'inscription. J'ai dû lui envoyer plusieurs e-mails pour obtenir des réponses à des questions simples. Je m'étais assuré d'avoir mon examen médical effectué et soumis à l'avance, en cas de problèmes qui pourraient être résolus avant ma date de début. 3 JOURS avant ma date de début, elle a décidé de regarder mon examen médical, a vu des coches et m'a dit que je ne pouvais pas m'inscrire tant que mon examen médical n'avait pas été examiné OU je pouvais aller à Drivetest et essayer de prépayer pour mon examen écrit AZ. Elle m'a dit que peu importe si je réussissais ou échouais (cela m'importe car c'est MON argent pour payer l'examen). Évidemment, je n'aurais pas pu prépayer car mon examen médical devait être examiné. J'ai donc été incapable de commencer mon programme à la date à laquelle j'étais censé le faire. Sans compter que j'ai demandé au moins 5 fois si elle pouvait me donner le programme de cours et les horaires afin que je puisse organiser une garde d'enfants pour ma fille. Quiconque a des enfants sait à quel point il est difficile de trouver une garde d'enfants. Elle ne m'a même pas donné une petite information à ce sujet jusqu'à ce que je sois complètement inscrite. Cela m'a donc laissée dans la panique avec 3 jours pour trouver une garde d'enfants avant ma date de début prévue ! HEUREUSEMENT, je n'ai pas été en mesure de commencer de toute façon en raison de négligence de sa part ! Avançons d'un mois, mon examen médical a été examiné et accepté. Pensant que j'étais prête à commencer, je recontacte Victoria et nous fixons une date de début de programme. Elle envoie la lettre d'acceptation et il y a maintenant 2 semaines de plus que ce qui était indiqué à l'origine sur leur site web AINSI que ma lettre d'acceptation originale d'il y a un mois. Cela affecte vos dépenses de vie hebdomadaires via BJO et ce changement fait que je ne pourrai pas payer mes factures avec ce qui sera alloué. Cette extension de 2 semaines a enlevé plus de 100 $ par semaine que je m'attendais à recevoir. Lorsqu'on l'a contactée à ce sujet, Victoria m'a dit que la durée de leurs programmes est VARIABLE et peut aller d'un minimum de 12 semaines à un maximum de 14 semaines, et que Better Jobs Ontario est au courant de cela et gère cette situation tout le temps... Je ne crois pas à ça. Je n'ai JAMAIS entendu parler d'une durée de programme variable dans n'importe quelle école d'enseignement supérieur (ou collège de carrière privé). MÊME SI c'était quelque chose qui existe réellement, je sais que BJO n'accepterait pas cela car ils ont des directives de financement strictes mises en place longtemps à l'avance. Il n'y a aucune marge de manœuvre avec BJO. Fin de l'histoire. Mon travailleur m'a dit qu'il n'était pas sûr pourquoi il y aurait 2 semaines supplémentaires ajoutées au programme de nulle part - prouvant ainsi ma théorie que BJO NE gère PAS ces changements improvisés. Il y a tellement plus que je pourrais inclure dans cet avis c'est fou, mais je suis fatiguée, frustrée et j'en ai fini de déverser mes tripes sur mon expérience avec cette école. Je considère Crossroads à Smith's Falls à partir de maintenant et je m'assurerai de dire à tout le monde de se tenir à l'écart de cette école. Victoria doit être renvoyée pour son aide minimum, les mensonges qu'elle m'a dits plusieurs fois à propos de (encore une fois- semble être un thème récurrent ici !) des serveurs étant en panne, ne pas retourner les e-mails / appels téléphoniques, etc. si elle est le visage de cette entreprise, c'est un miracle qu'ils aient même des étudiants ! Elle est simplement horrible. PRENEZ VOTRE ARGENT ET FUYEZ AUSSI VITE QUE VOUS LE POUVEZ !!

Expérience fantastique: Je viens de réussir mon test DZ aujourd'hui, sans aucune erreur ! Super organisation, je le recommanderais à quiconque... Sydney, Larry et Jacob étaient géniaux ! Dane et Shawn dans les cours Zoom étaient également très informatifs et m'ont aidé à me préparer pour les cours sur site !

Expérience négative: Ne perdez pas votre temps et votre argent avec cet endroit, c'est une ARNAQUE ! Un cours qui devrait durer moins de deux semaines a duré des mois (temps de classe et temps de camion). Sans parler de tout le manque de communication et de planification. En ligne, le cours dit 2 camions par jour, j'ai reçu mon contrat qui disait 1 jour 6 heures, je me suis présenté ce jour-là et mon instructeur avait une HEURE de retard ! Et ensuite... on m'a dit de partir tôt parce que TTCC l'avait double réservé !!! Donc je n'ai eu que 4 heures de formation, puis le lendemain BAM... je suis au Centre d'Essai de Conduite pour passer mon test ! Bien sûr que j'ai échoué parce que qui peut se souvenir de tout en seulement 4 heures. Encore une fois, c'est vraiment une perte de temps de traiter avec ces gens. Ils ne peuvent même pas répondre au Better Business Bureau parce qu'ils savent qu'ils ont tort. J'espère que lorsque mon avocat aura terminé de constituer ce dossier, quelque chose sera fait avec cet endroit. Clairement, j'aurais dû lire les avis avant de choisir cet endroit. Si horrible.

Expérience fantastique: J'ai suivi le cours de freinage d'air pour l'homologation Z ici. J'avais Keith comme instructeur pour le cours de freinage d'air. Il était assez complet avec le matériel du cours et s'est assuré que tout le monde comprenne et ne se précipite pas. Il a une grande connaissance du secteur des camions et de l'industrie du camionnage. J'ai vu certaines des autres avis pour TTCC. Je n'ai eu aucun problème. J'étais en contact avec Victoria pour m'inscrire au cours et je n'ai eu aucun problème.

Expérience négative: Veuillez ne pas perdre votre temps et votre argent ici. Ils ne m'ont jamais appris à reculer avec des cônes pour mon AZ. Ils m'ont fourni un camion défectueux lors de mon examen de conduite. Vous serez préparé à l'échec et non au succès. Si vous êtes financé par de meilleurs emplois, veuillez ne pas perdre votre dernière chance avec cette école. Je suis bloqué pour obtenir ma licence depuis six mois. Je leur ai envoyé plusieurs e-mails et appels sans réponse. La pire décision de ma vie a été d'aller dans cette école. Veuillez économiser votre argent et votre temps.

Expérience négative: Économisez votre argent et allez ailleurs ! Un cours de 3 semaines s'est transformé en un cours de plus de 4 mois. Une fois qu'ils ont votre argent, ils arrêteront de réserver des heures de formation ou des tests et il sera impossible d'entrer en contact avec eux. En ce qui concerne la réponse de l'entreprise, évidemment mon nom enregistré dans le cours n'est pas composé de 2 lettres et j'ai appelé ce numéro plusieurs fois par semaine et j'ai demandé un remboursement et à chaque fois on me dit que mon message sera transmis et on m'assure que mes heures et tests seront réservés. J'ai payé pour le package le plus cher qu'ils ont à offrir et j'attends toujours que les heures de formation restantes et le test soient réservés sans rien sur le programme depuis des semaines.

Expérience fantastique: J'ai été formé par TTCC/Ottawa et j'ai eu Jakob Paquette comme mon formateur sur le système Airbrake. Il a donné le ton pour une leçon détendue et calme et était prêt à faire des efforts supplémentaires pour essayer de vous faire comprendre la leçon. Je n'aurais pas pu demander un meilleur formateur.

Expérience fantastique: Mon cours de frein à air avec l'instructeur Jakob était incroyable ! C'était un cours de 2 jours où j'ai appris beaucoup de choses utiles. L'expérience de l'instructeur dans le domaine a rendu le processus d'apprentissage très fluide !

Expérience négative: Ne gaspillez pas votre argent !!! J'ai été ici pour mon DZ et ce fut une horrible expérience. J'ai travaillé avec 2 instructeurs différents, Ahktar et Hardeep, et ils ont tous deux donné des conseils différents sur certaines questions de camion que j'avais et parlaient à peine anglais, ce qui a rendu l'apprentissage plus difficile. Pendant que je conduisais le camion DZ pendant la formation, l'instructeur était sur son téléphone pendant les 4 heures, parlant avec un casque, sans prêter attention. Il m'a laissé conduire le camion où je voulais, il m'a même fait arrêter chez Tim Hortons lol. Nous n'avons jamais fait le vrai trajet que vous empruntez le jour de votre examen. Le jour de l'examen au test de conduite, sur 6 étudiants, seulement 1 a réussi, les 5 autres ont échoué. Même un de leurs propres instructeurs (le seul compétent, Mike) voulait que nous envoyions un e-mail au bureau principal et que nous nous plaignions de la manière dont les deux autres instructeurs nous enseignaient. Ils ne vous préparent pas du tout correctement, donc attendez-vous à échouer avec TTCC ! Le bureau principal ne répond jamais aux appels, donc soyez préparé à envoyer plus de 20 e-mails avant d'obtenir une réponse. Si vous voulez apprendre le camionnage correctement, allez à Crossroads Trucking Academy, ils fournissent l'endossement Z en interne et les instructeurs sont 10 fois meilleurs que TTCC. J'ai réussi à obtenir mon DZ avec Crossroads dès ma première tentative tout comme tous les autres étudiants ! Cela en dit long sur le taux de réussite chez TTCC, ce n'est pas bon.. Économisez votre argent ! Ceci est un avis réel, pas comme les autres ci-dessous.

Expérience négative: J'ai terminé le cours d'or début octobre 2023. J'ai appelé et envoyé des e-mails depuis en demandant mes certificats. Personne ne semble être en mesure de me donner une réponse et il est rare qu'on revienne vers moi. Maintenant, en janvier 2024, je n'ai toujours pas mes certificats et j'ai l'impression qu'on se moque de moi et je suis en colère. Ils avaient deux programmes et réservaient constamment des machines en double, et je me retrouvais sur des machines sur lesquelles je n'étais pas programmé. Ensuite, on m'a dit que j'avais manqué 30 heures alors que j'étais surbooké de 26 heures. Le cours était un désastre du début à la fin et j'aurais dû économiser mon argent.

Expérience fantastique: La réceptionniste Christina est incroyable. Elle est là pour résoudre tous vos problèmes. Très bons enseignants ! Merci à Achtar et Mike. J'ai réussi l'examen de conduite du premier coup. Il faut 2 mois pour obtenir le permis AZ.

Expérience fantastique: Had a fantastic time getting my Az. I had Terry from Ottawa west, and I don't think I could have had a better instructor. He was very patient and supportive during the learning process. He really ensured I was following the procedures properly. From coupling and uncoupling to checking the oil level. Everything we did together he made sure I fully understood. The only criticism I would have about the school is the organization. I felt like the schedules for published a bit late. And my drive test was delayed due to truck maintenance not being done on time. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an az/dz licence.

I would like to thank TTCC team that gave me the opportunity to train at their center. Expérience positive: My instructor Terry Smith in the Ottawa west yard was the best I could ever ask for! Lots of great stories and examples to share while learning to drive a large truck. Terry and I had some great times while also learning lots on the road and in the yard. Terry is very calm and understanding and is a very good teacher. Overall a good school could use some work on organization of schedules and training their employees to use the new technology and tools provided to them.

Expérience négative: Pure garbage. I regret using this school, and their reviews are fake... I will NEVER recommend this school to anyone. I'll only strongly tell everyone to NOT go here and tell them about his horrible experience. Plus, ill tell you why their reviews are fake. First off, the reason I used this place was because they said they had a school in carp. LIE. Then they said it was a 3-day course, PLUS in their contract it says estimated completion date. 3 days long LOL it took me over 2 months. What a joke. So when it came time to get my money they were GREAT, they were quick to answer and very friendly. My Z endorsement was a joke. It was a 3-hour course in reality with videos in black in white, on zoom. I learn a couple of things, but nothing I couldn't have looked up on Google within a couple of minutes. Either way, it was done, and I figured the rest was going to be OK. Boy was I wrong. It took me 2 weeks!!! To get a hold of Melissa. (The receptionist in Ottawa). BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE AN OTTAWA WEST LIKE ADVERTISED SO ILL CALL IT OTTAWA, I called almost on a daily basis to book the driving portion of my test and because no one was answering my messages. I'd call and get told that she would call me back the same day and if not, I was to call them back. So I did. After 2 weeks of this, I got pissed and went to the school. This is when I went to their address for their "west" Ottawa location, but it didn't exist. So I went to the East location where I meet the wonderful Melisa. And she told me her first lie. When I walked in, she was on the phone chatting with another co-worker, they were trying to get more students to pay. I'm not sure about anyone reading this, but don't you think that you should take care of students in the course already, especially if theirs a 2-month waiting list??? But no, let's get more people in and lie to them to make money. I'm sure this place will last, LOL. This is when she told me that their servers were down, and she couldn't book me, But one of the instructors came in and told her took prioritized AZ drivers first. Lol, It's an old Old OLD trick to say, our servers are down. Like seriously, plus the guy came in and told her to book other people. So she told me she'd contact me when she's ready After another week of waiting, I restarted trying to call and it was the same story. So at one point i asked the Customer service person if this was normal, and she said "sadly it's very common" BOOM, that where all the fake reviews come in. So I asked the same lady if I should just start showing up to the school, and she did. But it was the same story a week and a half later, SERVERS ARE DOWN, LOL. What a joke. SO after a month of this, I went in again, and she told me 3 date that my classes would be on. So I waited another week for those dates, and I was expecting a confirmation email or something, but I didn't get anything. So I went to it AGAIN, and she lied AGAIN and told me she never told me those dates. THE NEXT DAY I got an email with dates at the start of June. Keep in mind, I paid for the course on April 19th. In the contract, it says Estimated completion date April 23rd. Their website is a lie, advertisement is a lie, when you call them they have a message telling us that we can do this all online, but that's also a lie, their request information button also doesn't work, the people who work there lie. I'm not done with this horrible experience... So finial I'm with an instructor and like everything else they failed to tell me that this is a 3-day course, (3 very separate days) with only about 2.5 hours of practice each, adding up to 7 hours. Again, that was complete new to me. So the instructor was good, but every time was a new guy that I could understand less and less because of their accents. Plus, each guy would tell me what the other guy was teaching me was wrong, or they were missing a bunch of stuff. This story doesn't end, there's a lot more, but I don't have enough space, PLEASE FIRE MELISA SHE'S SO LAZY AND NEVER IN. DO NOT GO HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. STUDENT WILL AGREE

Expérience fantastique: I did my AZ truck training here in the winter of 2022. Dane did a great Job of administering the online theory portion of the course. Jeff was a phenomenal in-truck instructor. Melissa was great in the office, running the operation from behind the scenes and very accommodating. No regrets having chosen TTCC for my training.

Expérience fantastique: I started my journey towards my ACZ course on April 25 , Dane Arcand you were so awesome on explaining and teaching on line course very explainingful on every tasks on longhaul to local , also had the opportunity to having you on my first part of trucks hands-on i call it lol , taught me double clutching remember clack - clack lol Dane you will understand this lol thank you .. Now for Jeff you are a computer of chapter 6 the way you teach your students you make us feel like somebody give us the time to relax and concentrate on are training you are the best at what you do and wouldn't of past on my first shot at the drive test center you and Dane are the best at what yous do thanks so much Now for last but not least Melissa, you made every day that was scary/bad , simulator , truck , scheduling so smooth you were so helpful on simulator and were awesome on scheduling , evertime I had a problem you solved it love you for helping me threw this Thank you

Expérience fantastique: The on-line training course was very informative and helped prepare me for the practical driving hours. Having both AZ & DZ students attending, the trainer was patient and efficient with over 40 students from three different provinces. Driving instructors greatly emphasized the air brake testing methods which are essential for acquiring a Z endorsement. Inspections of the trucks were done before & time permitting,after each training trip. If you're looking for a commercial driver's license, TTCC will help you all the way.

Expérience positive: Great place to train. Jeff Flack was my instructor and his no nonsense training style was just what I needed. He's been teaching a long time and really knows what you need to learn for the test, and for the real world wince you're on the road. Melissa and Shannon in the Ottawa office were great, bending over backwards to make my single dad schedule work and got me done in time. My only reason for 4/5 stars is that they are a very busy training centre, and the passing of schedule changes and information is sometimes delayed. But they do exceptionally well for all they have to deal with. Highly recommended

I mostly trained with Jeff, someone who's passionate about his work, knows his stuff and made it look too easy! He made sure I was more than prepared for my tests! Even with his loaded schedule, he was always at his best! Even got to see Dane one day, my online class instructor, who made the online side just a breeze. They all did a great job in overall preparedness for the ministry test but what really stands out is that they found individual issues that occurred on the driving side and took me to a spot to work on those issues (friction point, gear revcovery etc) to make sure I got it. Thank you Jakob, Jeff, Abdelghani, Dan and Michael for setting me on the path to success for my future in truck driving! Also thanks to Melissa and Cassandra for accommodating me around my schedule and answering my many questions!

Expérience fantastique: Highly recommend this driving school. Excellent and very approachable staff, But the star of the show is the driving instructor Mr. Jakob Paquette. Very effective teaching strategy and through the roof enthusiasm. He will not only teach you to pass your driving test but to be a good driver. He gives different driving techniques and at the end of your course you will feel your confidence on the road, checking of mirrors and speed will become natural to you, he doesn't blame you if you did wrong instead he motivates you and lifts your spirit. Jeff is an amazing instructor, He really cares about individual students and tailers his training to each person's strengths and weaknesses. He has trained myself and another co- worker, and both of us are very happy. If you if you go in with an open attitude and work with him, you will leave with a liscence. That simple. Thanks TTCC!

I really wish I had read more comments about this school beforehand....total scam they charged me almost 3 grand for this "3 week course" when I finally got to the in-truck portion of the course the instructor they gave me was so unstable I had to ask for a new one. Because of that I got to miss out on a while week of training and then they tried to rich it all by making me train for 9 hours in a day. I still need to try the test again and they told me to let them handle it so I wouldn't have to pay again. Then they didn't talk to for almost a month maybe more and now they want me to pay for my test again....trash school.

Expérience négative: Absolutely ridiculous “6 week course” been here since March 1st and I’m only half way through the in truck, very poor organization, I’ve had 6 different instructors, and only 3 days a week in truck at 3hours, I do not recommend this school at all huge mistake choosing to go here also multiple times instructors not showing up and showing up late, The only good thing I can say is Rob from Cambridge and Brent from Peterborough were very good instructors, James Ottawa Campus

Expérience négative: Its a joke that you pay the exorbitant price that this school requests and still they teach you with material that is full or typos; measurements and values that your supposed to remember. The teacher correts them as he goes but sometimes forgets untill someone asks! Another thing, with Covid, classes are virtual and with lots of LAG, TTCC cannot provide speedy internet to their instructors and students suffer at the end. BEWARE! You don't have my real name because i would like to stay like that. I just finished classes with Dane , he made many appolgies about the laggy internet and while the typo was NOT on the book but on the class material that he passes around, ask anyone that just graduated. Or i can add pictures if you would like!

Expérience fantastique: They are patient with me even tho I'm not the easiest person to teach because I dont learn like normal people and have lots of anxiety. I have progressed alot but it's taking me longer than normal people to learn and they are still patient and go out of their way to help accommodate their students. They are friendly and I learned a lot from the trainers there.

Dane is a great in class instructor and really helps keep you calm before your driving test, Jeff was an amazing in truck instructor, Calm and helpful. The entire experience was stress free and i passed on my first attempt.

I went to the school in Ottawa where I received a very good training that allowed me to pass my tests and obtain my ACZ licence. This is a School where People DO CARE about students. With Transport Training Centres of Canada, you don't just get a licence, but you get the skills you need for a successful professional career. I am not trying to advertise TTCC ... the success of every single student can testify about the school.
