Expérience fantastique: Je viens d'obtenir mon AZ, du premier coup, au campus de Hamilton ! Je suis si heureux d'avoir trouvé cette école. J'habite à Toronto, à 1-2 heures selon le trafic, et tous mes amis étaient très sceptiques quant à l'emplacement que j'ai choisi. 'Je n'ai rien trouvé de plus proche' disaient-ils. Oui, et voici pourquoi : des dizaines d'écoles autour de moi mais aucune d'entre elles n'est membre d'une association de camionnage. Cela signifie-t-il que les autres écoles sont mauvaises maintenant ? Pas nécessairement, mais si tu es un novice comme moi et que tu ne connais personne dans l'industrie, avoir le permis AZ sans expérience ne te mènera nulle part. Tu dois entrer dans le milieu d'une manière ou d'une autre et l'école de conduite de camion d'Ontario semble être l'une des solutions. Bien sûr, personne ne garantit un emploi une fois que tu obtiens le permis, cependant, quand nous roulions sur la route ou que nous faisions le plein aux arrêts de camion, beaucoup de camionneurs transportant de l'acier et des citernes de pétrole saluaient et klaxonnaient les instructeurs. Tu ne peux pas feindre cela. Je l'ai vu de mes propres yeux. Et les gars qui venaient vers nous disaient : 'Tu es entre de bonnes mains, écoute ce qu'ils disent, je suis allé à cette école'. Alors je crois que j'ai fait un bon choix. Quand je suis entré dans leur bureau de Hamilton, Christopher et Stephanie m'ont accueilli avec leur énergie chaleureuse et positive. Je pouvais sentir qu'ils étaient de bonnes personnes. Très accessibles et toujours un plaisir de parler avec eux. Ils m'ont toujours accueilli avec des sourires sincères. Puis j'ai rencontré Abraham, qui m'a expliqué les détails du programme. Un homme très respectueux et compréhensif. Il a répondu à toutes mes questions. Scott, l'instructeur des freins à air, quand j'étais dans sa classe, je pensais : wow, il aime vraiment enseigner. Il était si passionné par le sujet. Super interactif. J'aimerais que ce monde ait plus de gens comme lui. Bien que le programme était super condensé (ce n'est pas de sa faute, c'est juste le programme), il a rendu les choses ennuyeuses très intéressantes. La même chose que je peux dire sur tous les autres instructeurs : Sandra et Jean étaient auparavant les examinateurs au centre des tests de conduite. Sandra m'a appris à reculer. Ron et Val sont des hommes avec une énorme expérience de conduite. Ron a partagé son expérience avec des conteneurs d'expédition. Val a donné des conseils pour les longs trajets autour des États-Unis et du Canada. Frank m'a donné une introduction à la transmission manuelle. La patience qu'il avait avec moi sur la manuelle est incroyable. Je conduis manuelle tous les jours, donc je pensais que c'était pareil. Je ne savais pas... Ses transitions soudaines d'instructeur strict à un instructeur doux en une seconde pour désamorcer la tension à l'intérieur de la cabine sont l'une des expériences les plus mémorables. Ça en valait vraiment la peine. Jean est incroyable : il est la combinaison d'être strict et attentionné. Comme tous les autres. Au début, j'étais un peu inquiet d'être assigné à un instructeur différent tous les deux jours, mais j'ai vite réalisé qu'ils étaient tous stricts, disciplinés et professionnels, ils sont tous au même niveau, mais juste d'horizons différents. Alison, l'instructrice en ligne sur Zoom, elle a passé en revue toutes les lois et réglementations. Elle a donné des conseils intéressants de son expérience personnelle : 'C'est ce que nous avons dans le livre, mais c'est ce que tu vas voir dans la vraie vie'. Des gens incroyables ! Je suis très heureux d'avoir eu l'opportunité d'apprendre d'eux ! Merci OTDS !

Expérience fantastique: J'ai tout juste eu le plaisir de suivre mon cours AZ à cet endroit au 505 Kenora Rd. J'ai eu le plaisir de traiter avec le personnel de bureau et également avec les instructeurs, ils vous font sentir comme un membre de la famille. Ils ont également pris le temps de s'assurer que tout ce avec quoi je luttais était clair et que je comprenais bien. Chaque instructeur avait des méthodes différentes pour vous enseigner des choses spécifiques, ce qui rend l'apprentissage agréable et aide à retenir les connaissances. Je recommanderais fortement cette école à quiconque souhaite apprendre la bonne façon de conduire un camion ou tout type de véhicule. Je peux dire à 100 % qu'ils vous enseignent les bonnes étapes pour réussir votre examen de conduite (tant que vous écoutez correctement ce qu'ils ont à vous enseigner). Encore une fois, merci beaucoup de m'avoir enseigné et d'avoir aidé mon parcours qui m'a permis d'obtenir mon AZ.

Expérience fantastique: J'ai suivi ici le cours de formation pour le permis de classe F et c'était génial ! J'ai reçu 10 heures d'instruction en tête-à-tête avec un instructeur très compétent qui était amical et très patient avec moi. Ils ont également conduit le véhicule au centre d'examen de conduite pour moi le jour de l'examen et j'ai réussi l'examen facilement du premier coup. Ils étaient très accommodants pour la planification. Super école !

Expérience fantastique: J'ai terminé ma formation en camion pour obtenir mon permis D avec OTDS cette semaine et j'ai réussi mon test de conduite sans aucun problème. Les trois formateurs avec qui j'ai travaillé, Rich, Manish et Scott, étaient tous formidables et faciles à travailler. Rien d'autre que des choses positives à dire sur cet endroit et le personnel que j'ai rencontré. Merci encore.

Expérience fantastique: J'ai pris mes leçons de classe F au site OTDS de Welland sur Ridge Rd. et mon instructeur Steve W. était incroyable ! Il a vraiment pris son temps avec moi et était très précis dans sa préparation pour mon examen de conduite. Il était très patient, calme et très compétent concernant le véhicule et ce sur quoi je serais testé au moment de mon examen de conduite. J'ai réussi mon F grâce à Steve !

Expérience fantastique: J'ai obtenu mon permis, mon emploi du temps a été adapté, mon apprentissage a été rapide avec un excellent soutien pratique et écrit de la part de Mark, Rich et du personnel de bureau. Le jour de l'examen s'est déroulé sans accroc et ma nouvelle carrière est déjà en cours.

Expérience fantastique: Après avoir recherché la plupart des écoles de camionnage dans la région de Hamilton, j'ai choisi de rejoindre OTDS.. Dès le premier jour, le personnel de bureau était très professionnel et les formateurs sont très compétents.. J'ai commencé ma formation sans aucune expérience précédente, en peu de temps j'ai appris toutes les compétences pratiques et théoriques nécessaires pour réussir mon examen de conduite AR.. Merci au personnel incroyable d'OTDS.. Je recommande vivement cette école.

Expérience fantastique: I attended an Airbrake Endorsement course. Clean facility, ample parking, and close to main highways. Our instructor knew her stuff and was understanding in her approach. All in all, I would highly recommend Ontario Truck Driving School if your future has commercial driving in it. Well done!

Expérience négative: After this school took $7,500 of my hard earned money, I completed the in class training course plus on road practice driving I did not get enough training on backing up with the trailer. By the end of my training, I requested to take my Class A road test in Guelph Ontario instead I was pressured to take my Class A road test in Hamilton. Upon arrival I had an uneasy feeling with the Examiner the moment I met him. As I was saying and doing my outside pre-trip inspection, I was getting told to move on before I could finish my sentences and finished performing my Exterior inspection test. The examiner was one of the rudest individual I have ever came across, I had a gut feeling I would not be going home with a Graduated Class A License my mind was exactly what I thought and knew would happened. I was then told by this school I had to pay a road test fee of $99 to redo the Class A road test, before they can rebooked my road test. After driving to the DMV drive test center to pay the fee, I provided a receipt of the fee my road test was never booked months past as it was the end of Summer it started getting colder outside Winter was on it's way and my road test was basically non-existent. My Class A License just expired in February, I now have to do the written knowledge test all over again it's like starting from scratch. I would never recommend enrolling into this school, they do not give you enough lessons on backing. They care more about the outside pre-trip inspection rather then actually training you on offset backing and 90 degree Alley dock backing. Save your money, find a school that properly trains their students how to back up and operate a Semi Truck. Don't waste your money on this school.

Expérience fantastique: I went to the Hamilton branch for my DZ training and I must say I have never had a better experience with any other drive test centre/ driving school. The staff at the Hamilton branch was so nice, professional and overall beyond helpful. They took the time to book extra training if i needed, and provided me with any material I needed in order to pass my DZ licence. 12/10 experience and would recommend for anyone needing training!!! In addition, I received my DZ on the first try!! Thank you guys!

They are great from the management and office staff to the instructors (i had all but 1 instructor and they were all great). They are very professional and really care about the successful completion of your training. They have a great team (ex drive test examiners and ex truck drivers with different backgrounds in the industry) that will work together and give you the knowledge, skills, and tips to pass your road test. It’s really helpful to have multiple instructors giving different perspectives and sharing their personal experiences. The administrative team was really friendly and very accommodating. Thanks to Michelle for being so helpful. Most of my driving time was spent with Peter who really prepared me for my road test and was a great guy. Expérience fantastique: Hamilton OTDS was incredible and I absolutely recommend anyone considering a license upgrade to come here. I did my Z on the weekend with Scott and he was a great teacher. Very good at answering questions thoroughly and making sure the content is understood. I did my AR with Stan, and he is a great teacher as well. He is very thorough very knowledgeable and knows how to keep things fun. I will gladly come back again to get my full A when I can.

Expérience fantastique: I’ve passed the road test at the 1st attempt. As Abraham explained to me when I first visited them, they’re not cheapest but has best teaching materials and instructors. I saw lots of examinee from other schools at test center who couldn’t drive out from the test center. OTDS would not send any student to the test until they’re ready for it. Strongly recommend to all looking for good driving school for the commercial vehicle.

I appreciated the different perspectives that each instructor had from their own driving experiences, and the way each one would teach the same lesson from a different angle which I found helpful. I would highly recommend OTDS to anyone wanting to get their AZ driver training.

Expérience fantastique: I did a refresher AR course with Gord. Found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful with relaying the changes made to the inspections portion of the daily pre trip requirement. Would highly recommend OTDS for their services if required. You have a satisfied customer here.

Expérience fantastique: OTDS is a great experienced friendly school to go to they are very professional and they go with you step-by-step to make sure you fully understand everything about the truck industry. I would like to thank everyone and especially Michelle, Scott and Gordan for all you’re help.

Expérience fantastique: If you go into training with a serious mindset and a commitment to actively learn you will get so much from your otds instructors. I had Scott and Frank who both went above and beyond to provide me with all the knowledge and practical information I needed to not only pass, but to excel on my drive test. To anyone on the fence about attending driving courses with otds, I would say it’s a no-brainer, they will get you fully prepared for your road tests.

Expérience fantastique: I needed an F-class license to drive an ambulance, but I could not pass the technical inspection part. I did not feel like failing the exam again, and I was not in a hurry to re-take the test. I drugged my feet for so long that I ran out of time. I had only a week to pass the driving test to apply for a job. I called OTDS, explained the situation, and they squeezed me into their busy schedule. After 2.5 hours of instructions, I took the driving test the next day, and I passed with flying colours. The examiner praised my knowledge and skills and said that she expected no less from an OTDS student. With the new license in hand, I applied for a job before the deadline. Everyone at OTDS, from the office administrator to the manager, did their best to help me, and the instructor was great. Thank you, OTDS!

They don’t only teach the right stuff to help you get your license, but also teaching you what’s the real trucking world looks like. Really appreciate what I learned from them. Expérience fantastique: Choosing a School to get my AZ was a quite stressful ordeal as there are loads and loads of schools out there. Getting a AZ license is quite expensive now due to regulation and If you are skeptical like me, you assume all these schools just want your money. Abraham brought me in and explained the program and how they would schedule my classes to suit my hectic schedule. I felt good about this place so I enrolled. I fell behind in class because I bit off more than I could chew with my schedule and my inability to get studying done at home. OTDS offered me a few group sessions to help get me caught up and be ready for my drive test. I was really blown away that they cared more about my success than just making money. This is a hard thing to find at any school. I can't say enough about these guys, they will hammer the things you need to know into your brain until it sticks. I completed the program and got my License on the first try. I would recommend OTDS to anyone!

Expérience fantastique: Originally I did my training in brantford and I failed my D test twice. But thankfully I came to the Hamilton location for training and passed my test on my 3rd attempt. I strongly recommend going with OTDS for any license, and they will train you exactly to the criteria that the drive test examiners are expecting of you as a commercial driver. The hardest part of the test is getting past your nerves and being confident in your skills! Be the best like Muhammed Ali as Dez told me! Expérience fantastique: Great place to learn ! Called awhile back for some information about the AR schooling , since the schools in the Gta have zero respect for. The ladies in the office were first rate , arranging everything to fit my late day availability for lessons. Including the Drive Test appointment way earlier than I would have found in To. The instructors were awesome . They instilled in me a ton of info both in the classroom and on the road with trailer that is way heavier than i would used elsewhere. Big shout out to Dez and my big Welsh bro' Evan , for the support at the school and at Drive Test . This school is tops in the region , Well worth the drive from anywhere. Period .

Expérience fantastique: Needed some help to get my DZ. I was provided a package that suited my needs. Awesome and knowledgeable instructors. Office staff most accommodating. They walked me through what I could expect for my road test and pretrip. I would not have been able to do this without them. I passed first try.

Expérience fantastique: I really enjoyed all of my training at Hamilton otds some in class can be a bit dragged out but all the instructor's are really great they make it a fun but serious learning experience and make you feel comfortable if your looking for a good truck training school I strongly suggest looking into this school

Expérience négative: Place is a joke, If you're not successful your first time, OR IF YOUR LOOKING AT GOING TO THIS PLACE, SAVE YOUR MONEY Go to another school. I unfortunately did not pass the first time and had to wait 2 weeks to see how much it was to rent their bus to do the test again, I NEVER heard back from them or had a courtesy call to ask how I was doing or if I was going to take the course again ( PRIVATE CAREER COLLEGE, THATS HOW YOU MAKE MONEY) Go take a look at different schools for success in obtaining a commercial drivers license.

Expérience fantastique: I am extremely satisfied with this school. They are truly there to help you and they want to watch you succeed. I would recommend this school to absolutely ANYONE. They took a woman who knew nothing about truck driving and turned her into a truck driver in a short amount of time. If you're looking for fair prices and outstanding instructors I would go to this school.
