She will make sure you fail the test so she can book you for more classes. She was very rude and didn't give proper instructions. And always on phone while you driving. Please guyz be aware of this lady .

My time with Sara was absolutely horrible. She was highly manipulative and would change lessons last minute and then blame me for not knowing, say that she is meeting me at one place and then I’d go there and she would tell me that she is not there and then cancel the lesson, we even stopped at her house and I sat in the car for 20 minutes while she went inside to get pills! When I completed my driving lessons with Sara and passed my g2 test I asked her if there was anything that I needed to do to get my certificate sent to me and she said it will automatically be applied and I trusted her. Fast forward almost 3 years later I get insurance and now she mysteriously can’t find my hours and just like the other reviews that I’ve seen all of a sudden now she doesn’t know how to pick up a phone, answer an email or a text. I’ve tried calling at least 30 times and it’s been over 2 and a half months. She doesn’t know how to run a business, please save up and take your money elsewhere, don’t get scammed like my brother and I and many others have. She is cunning, obnoxious, rude and deceiving. Everyone that I contacted about trying to get this resolved, including the MTO said I should file a BBB complaint so that’s exactly what I’m going to do, I’ve tried giving her many chances but the unprofessionalism is ridiculous. 0 stars for me. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Expérience négative: Recently filed a BBB complaint regarding this company. After paying upfront for all the in-car lessons, only 1 in car lesson was had (due to the pandemic). After continued delays and multiple unsuccessful attempts to schedule in-car lessons over the past almost year and a half when pandemic restrictions allowed, I requested a refund for the unused portion of the in-car lessons as the student had moved of province for post-secondary and would not be able to complete the course. After trying numerous times to contact Sara by email and phone regarding a refund request, all of which were ignored, I filed a BBB complaint to try to get back close to $300 of unused fees. Sara refused to refund the unused portion of the fee for services never rendered. Do not pay for this course. All fees are non-refundable (nowhere was this stated on the website or by Sara at the time), scheduling lessons is extremely frustrating, requests for refunds and completed material are ignored.

Expérience fantastique: Sara's stellar instructing skills, patience, honest constructive feedback, good communication skills, and experience as an instructor enabled me to pass my G2 test and emerge a better driver than I honestly ever thought I would. Unlike other instructors I worked with before Sara, she advised me to schedule my road test as soon as we had our first lesson, which really did give me something to work towards. Sara can be strict (in a good and respectable manner) and straightforward but i believe this was for my own good in order to pass the test and face the real world of driving by myself. Highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: Just passed mg G2 road test yesterday with Sara's help. Sara will not go easy on you during lessons but this will set you up for success. She doesn't just tell you how to do things she will explain why you should do them in order to pass your road test and eventually to help you as a real world driver. Honest feedback, straightforward explanations and has utmost patience when you commit mistakes. There were a couple of times where I needed to reschedule and she was flexible enough to accommodate me. If you want to set yourself for success in your road test, Sara is the way to go.

Expérience fantastique: I took an hour lesson with Sara the day before my G license test. I setup the appointment on a short notice and she made it very easy to do so. She was also professional and friendly which is a very rare combination to find in any driving instructor. During the lesson, I was given clear expectations on what i will be tested on and I also got many helpful tips on preventing the mistakes that would cost me points in the test. After identifying my major problem in reverse parking, she took the time to help me practice it several times until i perfected it. Thanks to this lesson, i passed my G test. Overall, she is an excellent instructor and i highly recommend it to anyone who wants to freshen up on driving skills before their tests. Edit: She also wrote down all the highlights of the lesson and sent it to me which was a great help for review right before the test.

Expérience fantastique: I chose Sara as my driving instructor because my initial driving instructor from another school was away on a trip for 1 month and I did not want to have a long gap between my in-car lessons. Just after the very 1st lesson with Sara, I realized that I should have gone to her in the 1st place. First of all, I could understand her easily (as my other instructor could not speak English well) and this made it way easier for me to follow instructions. Secondly, Sara does not stop with just pointing out the mistakes that are made while driving. She dissects the mistake completely and breaks it down step by step which makes you realize where/what exactly you are doing and how you can work on it. For e.g I kept turning very slow at stop sign intersections (right and left turns). While my previous instructor just said "you are turning very slow", Sara told me "start looking even as you are approaching the intersection and NOT after you reach the intersection. When making your turn, look far and NOT down at the road". Such detailed breakdown of my actions and relevant corrections have really helped me a lot. Thirdly, she gave me more frequent lessons - at-least 2 or 3 in a week; with my other instructor it used to be 2 or 3 in a month! The higher frequency of lessons helped me to revise my skills better, as I did not have a car with accompanying G licence holder, to practise on my own. I am a 32 years old first time driver (new to Canadian roads). I thought I would have to attempt the road test at-least thrice to pass and get the G2 licence. But thanks to Sara's impeccable teaching style, I passed it in the 1st attempt. That was a miracle and major credit goes to Sara. Apart from that, like others mentioned, she is very punctual, does not run personal errands during classes; she sends text reminders the day before the class; She does not beat around the bush - she is quite straightforward, gives honest feedback without feeling you let down. There is no prize for guessing with whom I am going to train for my G licence road test! Driving is a skill, while teaching is an art. Sara excels in both.

Without her help I don't think I would be able to pass my exam that easily. She's strict in a good way. Always on time of the schedule so she doesn't like students being late. Which happened to me once, but she adjusted her schedule so I would still get my full hour of lesson! Thank you Sara!

So the strategy they've adapted here is to "DEMOTIVATE" in all aspect they can, so that you end up paying them more and more and more. In my case, they nearly succeeded. But I was lucky enough to change my car driving instructor to Sara's KW driving school. The way she teaches is very simple, straight-forward, with honest feedback, no money making intention. In my country, teacher holds a very high respect, and if he/she is not that good, it's highly dis-graceful thing. But Sara, unlike other Car Instructor ( Like cunning ones in Dads Driving School ), in my opinion, is the "Best Instructor" anybody can get here. She never discourages, nor she misguides. Her way of teaching is impeccable, unblemished, sublime, beyond all praise..

She was always patient, took time to explain concepts clearly and never made me feel bad for not being able to do something. She would even text me tips/reminders based on what I didn’t do well on in that lesson. Unlike other instructors I’ve had, Sara was very accommodating with pickup/drop off locations, didn’t run errands on class time and was always quick to respond messages. As a bonus, she’s also nice to chat with which makes the lessons more enjoyable. Thanks Sara!

She was good in refreshing my mind with the rules as i had to unlearn all the wrong practices that i inculcated in past 4 years. She took me in the test route (though there was a slight change in the route in the exam). Overall she was good.

Expérience négative: I had one in car lesson with Sara as a G test prep. She provided me with good tips and had good pointers on my potential test route. Overall lesson was fine, it was quick & to the point. But my issues arise when it came to payment/change - I had this lesson in July 2018, it was $35 for a 1 hr lesson. I paid $40 cash with expectation to receive $5 in change via e-transfer because she didn’t have enough change on her... at the time she offered $2 until my next lesson where she would provide me with the remaining $3 change or I could just pay $30 next time (but I didn’t ask, need, or book another lesson) .... I know it’s just $5 but I asked for the change every week there after for the next 2 months, then I called her (where she told me to msg or call her back to resolve) ... since then I have tried... she hasn’t texted, emailed, or answered my calls. Based on the other reviews this type of cheat, manipulative behaviour is common. Just be wary or else you’ll over pay and never be compensated.

Expérience négative: Sort the reviews by recent when you are considering this school.. You can see that in the last few months people have been coming forward about Sara’s manipulative and unprofessional nature. Before I paid, I inquired about doing my training over one season, and Sara lied that she would be able to work with my schedule. After I paid, she refused to book lessons for up to a month at a time, stretching it out over > half a year. It might also be worth mentioning that both her and my other instructor were constantly texting or making personal phone calls during lessons. Two last minute lesson cancellations; once, it was a no-show by the instructor. Also had a last minute location change ! This is where the real scamming comes in. On my second last lesson, I was asked to purchase 4 additional lessons. I hesitantly agreed to this.. After the fourth one, Sara went into her office, and confirmed that she certified me (enabling me to book my test). Over the next few days she kept insisting that I purchase more additional lessons, and when I refused to go to another lesson, she told me that she wouldn’t certify me until I took another lesson. I had no official record that she had already certified me. I called her out on lying about not certifying me, booked my test myself, and had no further correspondence with her, after she sent many awful gaslighting text messages. I never received my 2 hour pre-exam lesson and received no compensation for this.

Expérience fantastique: I had great driving lessons with Sara. She was patient and nice. She taught me about "good habits" and She repeatedly instructed me down the smallest details until these habits become second nature to me. I learned a lot about being safe when driving, since cars are not the only ones that use the road, and we should respect pedestrians and cyclists. Additionally, the car used for the lessons was nice and Sara was always on time. The price was fair but I think it was a good investment since it is important to be a competent and safe driver. I passed on my first try and would certainly consider her driving school for my G test in few months !

She doesnt teach you well, manipulates you to take more lessons from her and try disagreeing with her a little bit and she will show you her true nature. Very rude and has no customer service concept. I would not recommend this school please invest your money where atleast you are treated nicely and get valuable lessons. Even the office of hers and where she gives the in class lessons is too shady! I wish I would not have wasted my money there.

Took an old middle aged, never even rode a bicycle and turned her into one of the best drivers on the road with patience, coaching, motivating - all when I would have given up, taught me techniques to learn and master driving. She assured me throughout our lessons and kept on practicing what I need to improve. She took me directly to the test center to familiarize the roads that I will for sure be tested on my G2 test. I improved my driving skills and became more confident in driving with every lesson, it was never a dull moment and she'd always reassure, she calmly points out what I need more practice on and is very flexible with her schedule! Expérience fantastique: Best place to learn driving. My instructor Ms. Sara taught me with highly professional manners and gave me the driving sense for safe driving. I had only 2 hours lesson from her and after that my G test was scheduled at Kitchener Drive Center. Finally I passed the G test and got the G license. She explains the techniques with granular details and help you practice all the required moves almost in every class. I would like to mention here that all the points i learned from her the same examiner asked me to do in the G road test. I would recoomed all new drivers to join this school for your License. I would highly recommend Sara's KW Driving school! Note: Yes, you will be left at the test centre as you can wait up to hours for them to call your ticket number to get your temporary license. There are other students to see her. Take a cab or bus.

She was honest, funny and kind. Most importantly, she was very knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. I honestly do not think I would have passed without Sara. You get terrible customer service: changes in location without being informed, cancellation or no show of lessons without contact, talking on the phone while suppose to be focussed on the driver, condescending comments and clearly not enough class time to warrant MTO approval. I hate to use a pun but I would steer clear of this driving school. We were very dissatisfied and registered with another reputable driving school which we should have done in the first place. Would have saved a lot of money and frustration.

Arrived 15 minutes later than agreed, did not show me the route, then proceeded to strand me at the driving examiners office after the test. (likely because of double booking) Telling me "you'll need to take a bus home". Not very professional, unfortunately won't be able to recommend them.

Expérience fantastique: Sara is super patient, experienced, and makes new (and revisiting) drivers comfortable behind the wheel. She knows the Kitchener Drivetest centre well, and offers good tips and advice on improving driving skills and habits. Prices are reasonable and other instructors at the school are also helpful. Scheduling is also flexible and instructors are able to travel to students in the KW area for lessons. In class sessions are carried out in reasonable sized classes, and were informative and easy to understand. Sara was helpful answering questions and guiding student discussions to make the course more enjoyable and valuable.

Expérience fantastique: Sara is the best driving instructor I’ve ever had. I had lessons with 3 other instructors before I went to KW Driving Academy. Sara made sure I was completely prepared before I went to take the G test. She spent a lot of time working with me to become a confident driver and helping me to overcome all of my weaknesses. She also showed me where the test routes are and pointed out where people commonly make mistakes, so I would be thoroughly prepared on the day of my test. Thanks to Sara’s help, I was able to pass the G test on the first try.

Expérience fantastique: My daughter attended Sara's KW Driving Academy this past March break. She passed her road test and I would just like to thank Sara for all her hard work. She is a very good instructor and always took time to work around my daughters schedule. Every time she would come home after a lesson she was so happy and said it was very fun to drive with Sara!!

My wife went into the office to pay the balance and talked to an extremely rude man who, when questioned about the bill appearing to be $50 more than agreed upon, told her they didn't need our business and that there were many other driving schools in town. She had paid already the balance on a credit card and he didn't know how to reverse the charge so he scribbled out a cheque for a refund. When she got home and told me I called the owner to get an explanation. I was told "thanks for telling me" but was never offered an apology or any way to try to correct the situation! Like he said: "there are many other driving schools in town."

Expérience fantastique: I had absolutely no driving experience before I started my driving lessons at this school. By the 5th hour I was able to safely maneuver myself through the busy rush hour of KW region. I'm not saying that everyone would be able to learn how to drive as fast as I did but what I am trying to say is that the way Sara (and Sarah) teaches you how to drive is incredible! She is very patient, understanding, and most importantly truly cares about her students. She knows the test centre and the test route very well which means that by the time you go to do your actual road test, there will be no surprises. The in car lessons were very laid back and fun. Driving can be stressful as a novice driver, but Sara is able to bring out the confidence in anyone. I came to Sara's school with very little driving experience and a fear of driving. After my lesson's, I not only became a confident driver, but I was able to pass my G1 exit test to obtain my G2 with just her lesson's alone. This driver's training program is affordable and matches the going rates for driving schools in the region. I recommend this driving school to anyone! You will not regret it! Great investment to becoming a defensive driver.

Expérience positive: I just finished the driver training program with Sara's KW Driving Academy. Sara was my in class instructor and Sussan was my driving instructor. This school is very good because it is close to the bus terminal and the teachers are very well trained. I enjoyed my experience here and will recommend this school to my friends and family. The only thing that I didnt like is that I had to wait a month before I could book my road test but that was not the schools fault the test center didnt have the time I needed.

Expérience négative: The WORST customers service ever! I just came in to ask about driving practice before my driver exam (I have already passed G1 test). But answers were unprofessional, disrespectful, rude and one of my questions was interrupted and I was asked to leave. What can I say, no patience and no politeness means no customers. STAY AWAY FROM THAT SCHOOL!

She was flexible with her hours, helpful and corrective while on the road, accommodating to your needs and skill level, and charged very decent rates. She was also friendly and personable. She taught me for my G1 and the G education, and she gave me lots of great advice that I was able to practice after my training was completed. Expérience fantastique: Sara's KW Driving school is extremely good value. I am working on a G2 ~ten years later than my peers and found this school to really suit my needs and budget. The certificate wouldn't really change insurance for my age, and I took a full course from another school many years ago, so the motivation to enroll was only to accelerate the G2 test date (seemed like a questionable idea in spite of the low price). Now having completed the course it is clear I made the right decision. The in class portion does include a lot of videos, but I find that to be a definite plus, because the first hand accounts and scientific demonstrations drove the messages home much better than a lecture could. The videos (some required, some specifically picked by Sara) really addressed the fallacies of an inexperienced driver (e.g. short SMSs, railway warnings, accidents due to speeding, impact of below limit alcohol). I found myself sharing such knowledge with friends and they were surprised to feel uninformed about many issues after their own training and many years of driving. Some of the other reviewers struggled a bit perhaps with their casual style of conducting things, but to me formality is useless compared to what they provide which is an understanding that every individual student has their own lives, priorities and needs, and hence a willingness to support and accommodate on an individual basis. What I am impressed with the most is that the people at this school really believe in the safe driving practices. There was never the sense that "you have to do this because it's a rule and you want to pass the exam", when I discussed things and drove with Sara, there was a very sound, safety related reason for every recommendation she made. If my teacher believes in it then I will believe in it too.

My instructor was great at teaching and made me feel very comfortable even though I had no previous driving experience. She pointed out a lot of things that I find very valuable. Expérience fantastique: I have previously tried instructors from different schools in Kitchener-Waterloo. They made me feel scared of ever driving again. But at KW driving I had two different driving instructors and they were both amazing. I would like to address some of the negative comments over here. First of all, I don't believe that these comments are posted by the owner itself as I am pretty sure I am in no way related to the people who owns the school :-P I am sure that Fairtax is owned by the same people who owns the driving school but that doesn't matter because the driving course itself without the $50 coupon is still cheaper than what you will have to pay at other places. I also don't deny what the other person said that you sit in a room for 3 hours and watch videos. However, those videos are required by the ministry to be shown to the students taking this course. and they are themselves informative enough that you really don't need someone lecturing you too much. The in class lessons at times can feel a little annoying at times when you are trying to do tests as someone is constantly talking on the phone and it is distracting BUT by the end of your in-class lessons you come out well equipped with the necessary knowledge you need to get on the road which is eventually the whole purpose of the in-class lessons. For me taking the in-class lessons was just a mere formality so that I can get my insurance reduced however the thing that matters the most is your driving skills because that is what you will be tested on. As I said earlier, this school has the best driving instructors of them all. They know exactly what will be tested on the test and they never rush during the lesson or as compared to some other instructors from other schools that I have driven with, they don;t slam the brakes every time you try to drive just because they are too freaked out! Some of you may have issues with the way they do in-class lessons but just the access to their driving instructors for the 10 hour lessons is worth ignoring the minor issues you may have with the in-class lessons. I will highly recommend anyone who doesn't have too much driving experience to take the course from this school. The money is worth spending. I passed my G2 on the first attempt and I am pretty sure it would have been impossible if I went for my test after my lessons with instructors from other schools.

Expérience fantastique: At first, I thought I should do drivers training to obtain my G2 licence earlier and lower my insurance. Though taking drivers training did help me achieve that, it also taught me how to be a better driver (better than i would've been by only driving with my parents). I felt more comfortable in the car with my drivers instructor than with anyone else who attempted to teach me. The calm and casual approach was really effective (in contrast to my mom panicking & yelling in the passenger seat every time I approached an intersection) . I really think that this school was the reason i passed my G2 the first time around. I would recommend this driving school to anyone! :)
