Expérience fantastique: L'une des choses les plus difficiles que j'ai jamais eu à faire a été d'obtenir la classe 1. En classe, j'ai fait du MELT avec Vince et Terry qui vous traitaient avec respect et patience, répondant à chaque question. CcA utilise plusieurs instructeurs par étudiant, vous voyez donc plusieurs niveaux d'expérience et différentes façons de faire les choses, ce que j'ai vu comme un grand atout à la fin. Un remerciement spécial à BC Mike qui est de loin l'un des humains les plus calmes que j'ai jamais rencontrés. Un instructeur incroyable du premier au dernier jour. Darren, qui était nouveau, sa personnalité m'a vraiment mis à l'aise ainsi que son utilisation de différents marqueurs pendant les procédures qui étaient très utiles. Vince et Terry qui ont TELLEMENT d'expérience, si gentils, intelligents et instruits, j'aspire à être les conducteurs que vous êtes. À Andrew qui était incroyable et Steve qui m'a donné ce dernier 1% de confiance dont j'avais besoin pour réussir le test. Les filles du bureau étaient des humains incroyables tout comme Don, le propriétaire, le personnel de CCA vous traite vraiment comme l'un des membres de la famille et votre succès est leur succès. Il n'y aura jamais d'autre école que je pourrais recommander plus que les personnes ici, des gens vraiment qui changent la vie.

Le prix pour la boîte automatique était très raisonnable et si je veux apprendre à conduire en manuel, ça coûte plus cher mais la pression est moins forte pour passer votre examen avec l'examinateur si vous apprenez après.

Expérience fantastique: Cette semaine, je viens de réussir mon examen routier de catégorie 3. Cette entreprise était la meilleure. Vince et Terry étaient mes enseignants en classe, ils vous traitaient avec respect et étaient très patients quand vous ne saviez pas quelque chose. J'ai eu Andrew deux fois pour la leçon de camion, et il était calme et agréable à conduire avec. Et j'ai eu Doug deux fois. Doug pour la première leçon était comme un sergent instructeur. Il vous disait essentiellement ce que vous aviez fait de mal et était un peu impatient quand vous ne saviez pas. Mais la fois suivante, je l'ai eu, j'ai pu comprendre comment tout fonctionnait ! Donc, sa manière abrupte d'enseigner fonctionne. Don, le propriétaire, était très apaisant quand j'étais sur le point de passer mon examen routier. Et les dames à l'accueil étaient toujours amicales et serviables. Je suis très reconnaissant pour toute votre aide et votre soutien et le travail formidable que tout le monde a fait.

Expérience négative: Tu sais quoi, tu es le pire des formateurs de conducteurs de camions, tu n'es pas censé être lent quand une entreprise a besoin de passer et tu devrais être derrière nous, pas devant un autre semi. Je ne suis pas en train d'apprendre de toi.

C'est un excellent instructeur avec une bonne expérience, le personnel de CCA, en particulier la réception, est très coopératif, ce que j'ai vu pour la première fois au Canada, ils sont très serviables dans l'ensemble, une expérience à 101 %. Je suggérerai à tout le monde d'aller à CCA pour une meilleure formation afin d'obtenir votre licence avec succès.

Expérience fantastique: While I, personally, did not attend here, my son did. Excellent school for trucking. One on one driving instruction. Thorough, detailed, and professional. My son had a sudden shift in accommodations in Calgary resulting in an absence and the school did everything in their power to accommodate his availability. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Instructors work with the level you're at and build a plan around you not just a bare minimum to pass the test. I was very impressed with this school - all 4 of the instructors I had during my driver training were knowledgeable and gave you different ways to approach each piece of the class 3 road test puzzle. I was able to take things from each instructor and come up with my own 'system' when it comes to the pre-trip inspection flow. I would recommend CCA to anyone looking to upgrade their license; I had no experience with a larger vehicle coming in to this, and by my 3rd driving lesson I was very comfortable and confident with operating the vehicle safely.

Expérience fantastique: Completed my MELT and received my Class 1 through CCA Truck Driver Training. Had an amazing experience from start to finish. It took me a few tries before I passed the test but that was due to my own mistakes. The trainers were all experienced and very knowledgeable. Special shout out to Vince, Brian and Don, they were my favorites, Vince is a legend and treated me like family, Brian was hilarious and very knowledgeable and Don was very patient and took time out of his lunch to help me out with extra lessons. The ladies up front, Megan & Kayla, were also exceptional, they work hard and did everything they could to accommodate my requests. Would highly recommend CCA

Expérience positive: I got my class 3 and air brake with CCA. The staff is very friendly and efficient. One of the instructors was quite impatient and a bit harsh, implying that I wasn't putting in enough effort, which wasn't fair as I spent every night studying after work. That said, the rest of them were all very professional and provided me with useful and practical guidance. A big shoutout to the instructors - Dave, Terry, and the owner Emmet! Anyway, my experience was positive in general. I wish I could have had a designated instructor instead of having different instructors for each lesson.

Expérience fantastique: I've felt CCA deserved a good review from me since I completed my airbrakes and Class 1 MELT, however life has been busy since then and this has turned into a 1 year review. I've been working in a very challenging part of trucking in the oilfield services sector and as I face complex problems in adverse conditions every day I'm reminded of how grateful I am for CCA giving me the tools to overcome each and every one of those problems. Terry, Vince, George, Doug, Steve, and Al were all my instructors through the process and they became friends through the process. They provided the highest level of training with their many many years of trucking experience, and taught me little tricks and that have quite possibly saved my life on multiple occasions. The trucks used for training are all Kenworth in very good condition, and with a variety of engine configurations over several model years, so rest assured you'll be familiar with driving older equipment just as you will be driving brand new equipment. This has helped a lot with being able to hop into any truck now and use a solid process to familiarize myself with it. Overall, nowhere else I would have rather been trained. If I had any advice for new trainees, it would be to stay humble. These guys all have a staggering amount of knowledge, use your time with them wisely and listen, because it may save your life or someone else's some day.

Expérience négative: Terrible instructor with a poor attitude! I was in my second lesson, but he expected me to know everything and grumbled about the mistakes I made. I'm not a car enthusiast and have only been driving for less than a year in Canada, but he spoke as if I should have known which parts are which. I studied the given guidelines diligently, but he acted like I hadn't worked on them. If you're getting your license with CCA, make sure you are assigned a better tutor.

Expérience fantastique: I took the minimum hours option for the class 3 (plus airbrakes) as I am a confident driver and didn't think I needed more. My instructor made sure I knew how to handle the truck and pass the pre trip inspection. They scheduled everything nicely and were very helpful in the office. Passed all the tests written and practical on first try so they did their job well as I put in the work on my end as well.

They were very accommodating to my schedule as I had to rebook my in truck training and road test multiple times and they did so without any hassle. The instructors are knowledgeable and professional. Honourable mentions goes out to Vince! I had him for my first in truck training(as well as my third)and despite it being -30 outside, we spent 1.5 hours outside drilling in the under hood and pre trip inspections. Once in the truck, he made me feel very comfortable my first time on the road. There was a bit of a bump on my first road test and they handled the situation very professionally and ensured I’d be good to go for my next road test. Go to CCA! You won’t regret it.

Expérience négative: when your company send you for driving evaluation, the instructor didn't tell you exactly what is wrong with your driving at the end but he said you did well . next day you find failed report sent to your company. I think these poeple is not trustfully either to get a good training to get your license or for driving evaluation so they are unfair need you to pay for extra hours

Expérience négative: Was told by an instructor when I took the training that driving a rig like that may not be for me as I dont have rhythm (for shifting). That was my second time in a truck. Makes me laugh looking back.. I can shift any truck now and have taught countless people at my work over the years how to do so. Their instructor was not only wrong but negative and not encouraging. They have nice trucks. That's my only positive with this place. Otherwise, in my opinion, the area sucks for new (nervous) drivers to learn the skills. Way too congested.

The instructors and the owner are very nice and knowledgeable, only a select few think that they yell but they DON'T, they want to make sure that you can hear them over the noise of the trucks. They do an awesome job making sure that you get what they are teaching you because they really do care that u get everything that you can to pass the exam. I would highly recommend CCA to everyone interested in truck driving school. New update on my experience with CCA, after only a month since my course completion i passed my driving exam, a HUGE shout out to all the staff at CCA especially the owner. Having a number of different instructors all of whom provided valuable insights, knowledge and attitude, created a very deep well of real world wisdom for me to draw on. The instructors make you feel very comfortable and relaxed and get right down to business and teach you everything you need to know. They offer real life advice on what to expect on the open road. Expérience fantastique: I can not recommend these guys enough, no messing around and a top class service. Was speaking with Don a few months before coming to see him and was able to do everything he promised, in record time as I was short with time.

Expérience fantastique: I got my class 1 in 2011 at CCA and now I'm driving some of the biggest stuff on the roads. My licence is the most valuable thing I have. My last company laid everyone off and before I got home I had three job interviews because I have a class 1 from CCA. If you're thinking about it it's worth it. You will never be unemployed. Top notch training. Lots of hands on and class time. Great instructors. Cost of the course has literally paid for itself thousands of times over. *Edit If you see a bad review on here it was probably a failed student. This isn't a rubber stamp course. It's real training. Some people just can't drive big equipment.

Expérience fantastique: The entire staff at CCA were amazing. Recently did the air brake course and class 1 training here and the knowledge of the instructors was second to none. When I went in I had very minimal knowledge of air brake systems or how to drive a truck and what they taught me in the short time I was there earned me my class 1 on my first attempt. After successful completion of my class 1 road test I had a talk with a couple of the managers about finding companies that hire drivers with little experience and they gave me all the information they had of companies that they knew hired entry level drivers. As I sit here now I can say I have found a driving position and am able to start my knew career as a professional driver and it's all thanks to the staff at CCA. Everything they do is to teach people how to become the best professinal drivers they can be and help the industry employ better and safer drivers.I would or rather will be recommending everyone I meet who wants to get into the industry or is looking to improve their skills to go to CCA.

Expérience négative: One of the worst school in Calgary. Before coming to this school my friends told me that this is the best school. Instructors do not know how to talk and they always yell to students. This is a school where teachers to be polite. This review only give one star but I give them -10. AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOLL AND WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Expérience fantastique: The team was wonderful. They know you are paying for you to pass and are honest with you and will tell you where you need to improve so you pass your class 1, 2 or 3 driving test.

Expérience fantastique: All of the personnel and trainers are very passionate about trucking and they want to help you become successful! I enjoyed every single day I attended CCA truck driver training. They helped me become a very competent class 1 driver within the short time I spent there. I passed my class 1 pre trip, backup and road test on my first try. With a recommendation and praise from CCA management I have been hired by a carrier only 1 week after my graduation. Thank you for helping setup the foundation for my new career CCA! These guys are the best in the business.
