Expérience fantastique: J'ai pris 2 heures de leçon pour me rafraîchir pour mon examen de Classe 5 ainsi que le forfait de test routier qui vous permet, en tant qu'étudiant, de louer la voiture pour votre examen et de vous entraîner avant celui-ci. Personnellement, je ne conduis pas beaucoup et j'évite de conduire autant que possible, mais Joseph m'a beaucoup aidé à me préparer pour mon examen en si peu de temps. J'ai réussi le test du premier coup et je dois remercier Joseph car il m'a aidé à éliminer toutes les mauvaises habitudes que j'avais développées pendant le temps où j'avais mon N. Il est très compétent et peut répondre à toutes les questions que vous pourriez avoir. Il donne également beaucoup de conseils concernant les itinéraires possibles de test afin que vous puissiez arriver à l'examen pleinement préparé pour où les examinateurs pourraient vous emmener. Joseph est un très bon instructeur et il est très direct sur ce sur quoi vous devez travailler. Il essaiera également de vous rendre aussi à l'aise que possible pendant la leçon. Je recommande fortement de s'inscrire pour des leçons avec lui ou pour tout rafraîchissement / temps de pratique dont vous pourriez avoir besoin.

Expérience négative: The good - Joseph has a good understanding of the necessary requirements to pass the road test and the routes that are taken in the Tricities. The bad - Joseph has limited ability to teach and adapt his approach to different students. I road along with every lesson he gave my daughter and witnessed Joseph's style of teaching. He is continually critical and does not positively re-enforce learning. He overwhelms his students with too much information to absorb at once. My daughter has ADHD and anxiety and had a horrible time trying to learn from him, yet she tried her best. She often burst into tears after a lesson feeling totally deflated and lost all confidence she might have had. I had to stop a lesson part way through to talk to my daughter and console her after Joseph's continual negative comments. I also tried to inform him of her response to him, which were in no way unreasonable, and he was unable or unwilling to change and help her. In the end, after 5 sessions of trying I fired him.

Expérience fantastique: Learning with Joseph might be the smartest decision you'll take if you're serious about passing the road test. Coming from India, a right hand side driving country, it was tough to get used to the left hand driving, parking and all. I booked 5 classes in total and I passed my class 5 driving test in first attempt. His prices are very nominal as compared to other driving schools and he's on yhe point with his training. Moreover, he makes you get used to the roads where your real test will take place and that's what you need as a newcomer to Canada and its streets.

I took a total of 4 lessons with him and during every single lesson he was able to provide feedback on what I needed to improve on and what I am already good at. Not only was he teaching her great driving skills, but it was also helping me, to be to able to continue his great work with her. He literally was able to teach her parallel parking in 3 quick steps. She became so comfortable with Joesph, that she attended the last 3 sessions on her own. We couldn't have asked for a better instructor!

Expérience négative: My name is Christine, I had 1 lesson with Joseph, he was late due to forgetting our lesson was an hour and a half not an hour!, he is a nice enough person but his grabbing the steering wheel at times was very annoying, he told me i would need at least 10 lesson, which is crazy to me as after having my 1 lesson with him i had 2 lessons at Tri city driving school with Mike I passed my test first time, Mike from Tri city driving school is wonderful. I have been driving since i was 18 i am now old 55...lol but let my license run out due to not needing to drive, so more of a refresher for me. I was charged $105 for an hour and a half with Joseph, Tri city driving school was $80 for an hour and a half. This is just my experience. I would not recommend this driving school personally but we are all different right!!.

However, I was uncertain about a lot of things and had some bad driving habits. He explained the rules of the road really well, and was not afraid to correct the things I needed to work on. I appreciate his honest feedback. He allowed one of my parents to sit in the back so that we could practice what I needed to work on afterwards. This was very helpful. Joseph has a tongue-in-cheek humour, which lightened the mood and eased some of my nerves. He was very accommodating to my schedule, as I booked the lessons last minute. He is the best and professional driving instructor who has provided me great support, proficient skills and encouragement throughout my 60 driving lessons. Joseph is a funny, strict, serious and happy instructor. He was not only transferring his driving skills to me but also made me become a safe and confident driver.
