Expérience négative: Mon fils a presque terminé un cours de BDE en ligne qui comprenait 20 heures de cours et 10 heures de leçons de conduite. En général, les étudiants pratiquent dans deux zones principales : Walkley et Canotek. Cependant, mon fils a fait 10 heures de leçons de conduite réelles, et ils ont négligé de lui enseigner un aspect critique de l'emplacement de l'examen à Walkley, où il devait s'arrêter à la médiane. C'était l'une des leçons les plus importantes à apprendre pour lui. De plus, on m'a informé qu'il faut généralement 40 heures de leçons pour qu'un étudiant soit bien préparé à conduire. Sérieusement ? Vous voulez encore 30 heures de cours de conduite de votre part et vous ne pouvez même pas enseigner les bases.

Expérience fantastique: J'ai dans la quarantaine et je n'avais jamais eu de permis auparavant. J'avais auparavant eu une horrible expérience avec une autre école bien connue pour 2 leçons et j'étais nerveux pour un nouvel instructeur. J'ai contacté l'école de conduite d'Ottawa et ils m'ont attribué à Zahir. Zahir était exactement ce dont j'avais besoin. Il était prompt, poli, sérieux et m'a poussé là où c'était nécessaire. Il a pu voir que j'étais nerveux, donc lors de notre première leçon, il m'a fait réserver mon examen pour dans un mois. Si j'avais été seul, je n'aurais probablement toujours pas réservé l'examen des mois plus tard. Nous avons fait plusieurs leçons de deux heures (totalisant probablement 14 heures) et j'ai réussi du premier coup, avec deux très petites erreurs. Pour moi, c'était incroyable car j'étais parti si nerveux. Zahir s'est concentré sans relâche sur le fait de me faire parcourir les itinéraires, les règles et ce que je devais améliorer ma confiance et ma compréhension de la conduite. Il ne m'a pas donné de discours motivants vides, ni d'attentes irréalistes. Il m'a appris à conduire pour l'examen, et comment réussir. Je peux maintenant conduire comme je le souhaite et cela a sensiblement amélioré ma vie à Ottawa. Je vais probablement demander à suivre des leçons avec Zahir à nouveau lorsque ce sera le moment de mon examen complet de G.

Expérience négative: J'ai eu une leçon de conduite de 6 heures avec Zahir, je suis un nouveau conducteur et sa méthode d'enseignement était horrible. Il était extrêmement impoli et impatient et il ne m'a rien enseigné correctement. Il prenait une pause cigarette de 15 minutes et me laissait partir 15 minutes plus tôt, donc chaque leçon de 2 heures n'était en réalité qu'une leçon de 1,5 heure. Quand je lui posais des questions sur la conduite, il me demandait d'ouvrir YouTube et de chercher là-bas, il disait aussi des choses comme que je ne réussirais jamais l'examen ou que je ne serais jamais un bon conducteur sans raison valable, il était extrêmement, extrêmement impoli. J'ai pris des leçons avec une autre auto-école et l'instructeur de conduite était tellement sympa, j'ai réussi mon G2 du premier coup uniquement grâce à lui. L'expérience de conduite avec Zahir était vraiment mauvaise. Je ne laisse généralement jamais d'avis et je le fais seulement pour que les gens ne fassent pas la même erreur que moi, je recommande fortement de changer d'école plutôt que de prendre des leçons de conduite avec lui.

Expérience fantastique: Je viens de finir mes cours de conduite avec l'Ottawa Driving School et mon instructeur Rimun. Il a été très perspicace et utile et a rendu l'expérience sans stress.

Expérience fantastique: J'étais reconnaissant d'avoir Rimun comme instructeur. Il est très minutieux et clair dans ce qu'il essaie de vous enseigner. Rimun vous informera des choses "plus importantes" sur lesquelles vous devez vous concentrer avant le test, ainsi que de vos forces et faiblesses. Si vous pouvez demander un instructeur, c'est lui qu'il vous faut.

Expérience fantastique: J'ai eu une excellente expérience avec le cours BDE en ligne. Tout le processus est en ligne car l'auto-école est très réactive, ils ont répondu à toutes mes questions par e-mail rapidement. Ils m'ont certifié juste après 1 jour après avoir terminé toutes mes leçons. J'ai pris les leçons en voiture avec Mohammad, il était patient et concentré pendant les leçons. Les techniques qu'il m'a enseignées sont faciles à appliquer. Je n'avais aucune expérience de conduite auparavant mais je me sens confiant juste après 10 heures. Je n'ai pas encore passé mon test de route G2 mais je mettrai à jour quand je l'aurai terminé. Moniteur et auto-école recommandés. Mis à jour : réussi du premier coup, bien que j'aie fait des erreurs.

Expérience négative: Je conduisais juste derrière un instructeur dans une Honda dorée, qui était clairement sur son téléphone, zigzaguant dans la circulation sur Blair rd.

Expérience fantastique: Très utile sur les conseils de conduite et la route. Je recommanderais vivement ce programme d'école de conduite.

Expérience fantastique: Je tiens à exprimer ma sincère gratitude à Mohammed, l'instructeur de conduite qui m'a préparé à mon examen complet de G. J'ai réussi l'examen le 20 août 2024. Mohammed est un instructeur très expérimenté, patient et attentionné qui veut donner le meilleur de lui-même à l'élève. Il partage tout son savoir et met particulièrement en avant les règles de sécurité et de circulation les plus importantes pendant la conduite, afin que vous ne puissiez jamais les oublier et qu'elles restent avec vous pour toujours comme une bonne habitude et un ensemble de règles de conduite sûres. Je suis très heureux qu'il ait été mon instructeur. S'il n'avait pas été là, je n'aurais pas réussi mon examen. Je remercie l'école et Mohammed pour leur coopération.

Expérience négative: L'instructeur semblait assez raciste, a fait des commentaires insensibles sur mon ethnicité et m'a dit que je ne réussirais pas, mais j'ai silencieusement réprimandé ses paroles au nom de Jésus ! Elle m'a assailli d'instructions mais je suis resté calme et j'ai ignoré le bruit, ne prenant en compte que les instructions. J'ai plus de 6 ans d'expérience de conduite en dehors du Canada, j'ai fait ma première tentative au G2 et J'AI RÉUSSI. Je ne recommanderai jamais une telle entreprise à quiconque que je connais. Vous devez former vos conducteurs à l'intelligence émotionnelle.

Expérience négative: J'ai suivi le cours en ligne BDE avec cette école. J'ai beaucoup appris grâce aux cours/lessons en ligne, mais on peut en apprendre autant en regardant des vidéos youtube et en lisant des documents. Dans l'ensemble, je ne recommanderai pas cette école, surtout si vous n'avez pas accès à la voiture d'un membre de la famille ou d'un ami pour pratiquer par vous-même. OBSERVATIONS NÉGATIVES : 1. Ils m'ont facturé 60 $ + taxes pour une pénalité de 'non-présentation'. J'ai envoyé un message à mon instructeur de voiture 2 jours avant pour confirmer notre rendez-vous, elle n'a pas répondu, donc j'ai dormi. Elle a attendu 15 minutes puis m'a informé de la pénalité et est partie. J'ai demandé un nouvel instructeur à cause de cela. Le nouvel instructeur était en retard 60 % du temps - une fois, il était même en retard de 43 MINUTES ! J'aurais aimé demander mes 60 $ en retour ! 2. Mon 2ème instructeur s'endormait dans le siège passager. Je suis confiant dans ma conduite même en tant que débutant, donc ce n'était pas un gros problème pour moi (je l'ai pris comme un compliment qu'il était si détendu avec moi derrière le volant !) - mais cela peut être horrible pour quelqu'un d'autre ! 3. La méthode de stationnement en parallèle que l'on m'a enseignée ne peut pas être utilisée lorsque vous vous garez dans la rue avec des voitures devant et derrière vous. De plus, il n'y a pas de méthode 'taille unique' pour le stationnement en parallèle ; donc il vaudrait mieux qu'ils enseignent les concepts et les variables en jeu au lieu d'une 'formule' - taille de votre voiture, distance par rapport à l'espace de stationnement, quand êtes-vous à un angle de 45 degrés par rapport au trottoir... QUELQUES AVANTAGES : 1. Mon 2ème instructeur était doux et a souligné les erreurs et les domaines à améliorer de manière calme. 2. Comme je l'ai dit, j'ai vraiment apprécié les cours en ligne - informatifs et utiles ! J'ai passé mon examen G2 au centre d'examen Walkley DriveTest. Voici mes conseils/rappels : - Regardez des vidéos youtube pour connaître les itinéraires d'examen (l'examinateur vous demandera de conduire dans Fairlea Crescent, Baycrest et Cedarwood Drive) - Allez réellement dans la zone et conduisez plusieurs fois pour vous familiariser avec l'endroit - notez tous les stops à toutes les directions, les virages serrés, les feux de signalisation. - Vous serez invité à faire un demi-tour, à vous garer en parallèle et à vous arrêter sur le bord de la route avec un stationnement en pente - assurez-vous de savoir dans quelle direction tourner vos roues selon que ce soit en montée ou en descente. - Faites toujours un contrôle de l'épaule lorsque vous changez de voie et que vous tournez à gauche/droite. - Faites un arrêt correct aux panneaux stop ! Un arrêt complet pendant 1-2 secondes et ne faites jamais un arrêt roulant ! - Pour tourner à droite au feu rouge, assurez-vous de faire un arrêt complet d'abord. - Il y a une école dans le coin, donc faites attention aux bus scolaires et à leurs signaux. - La limite de vitesse dans la zone est de 40 km/h (50 km/h dans Walkley). Ne conduisez pas trop lentement ni trop vite !

Expérience fantastique: Majed était un excellent instructeur. Il était patient, prenait le temps d'expliquer et de répéter si nécessaire. Il a répondu à toutes nos questions. Je recommanderais Ottawa Driving à d'autres.

Mes leçons en voiture avec Aswan étaient exactement ce dont j'avais besoin pour me préparer à mon test G2 et j'apprécie tout le temps, l'aide et les instructions fermes qu'elle m'a données. I decided to use an instructor so I went to Ottawa Driving School Walkley. I was given Fahim as my driving instructor. Fahim was very helpful, kind, friendly, affable, patient etc. He took time to help me correct all my mistakes and finally I just got my G Licence. Ottawa driving school has a great website and they offer a variety of different packages. They should have something for everyone.

Expérience fantastique: I did my in class lesions with Jack and had such a great experience. He was very calm, he didn’t raise his voice or react badly when I made a mistake. Bc he was so calm it made me feel much more confident, especially if I made a small mistake. After my course ended he even let me call and ask questions for my G2!! I passed and I would not have been able to without my driving course and Jack as a instructor! I heard other people experiences with instructors and was really worried I would feel so nervous and cautious but that was not the case at all. Thank you so much!!

Expérience négative: Your experience will depend on your driver. The driver I had s******* harassed me, asked me out multiple times even though I always said no in a very uncomfortable way, asked if I want a husband and very personal questions, came 10 min late and ended the lesson 10 minutes early every time, barely actually taught me, yelled at me once for saying his technique wasn’t helping me, and more. I knew how to drive from before so I just needed a refresher. If I was a new driver, it would have been so much worse. I saw other reviews with the same comments, so I don’t think this driving school takes the customers reviews seriously. For the $400 dollars I paid for the lessons, I couldn’t be more disappointed. Edit: in response to their reply, the other instructors were fully booked and my test was coming up in a few weeks. But that shouldn’t matter. I shouldn’t have to be put in a position to request a different instructor at all. Get your instructors in line!! I will not be contacting this driving school further nor will I be removing this review.

Expérience fantastique: Recently I successfully completed my G2 driving exam. I would highly recommend Ottawa driving school for driving lessons. I would also like to appreciate my instructor Majed for lessons. He is phenomenal instructor, always been calm throughout sessions. Never used his mobile during session and was focused on driving lessons. He was pretty quick to understand my weakness and we worked on improving them.

Expérience fantastique: I have had a very pleasant experience of learning the practical driving practice sessions with Mr. Fahim. I have newly moved to Canada from Bangladesh and the left-handed driving is completely new to me. The road signs and rules/regulations of Ontario province is also new to me. Though I had previous experience of driving, it was not be possible for me to grasp the new techniques and rules of driving here without Fahim bhai's guidance and support. I found him very patience and friendly attitude while teaching me. Moreover, his knowledge is very precise and he knows how to teach hard things in a simple easy way. Not professionally, but also I found him a very cordial, sincere and helping as a person. For his inspiration, guidance and continuous support to me, recently I have been able to pass my G2 driving test. I wish him every success in his personal and professional life.

During our lessons he made me feel relaxed, which I deeply appreciated as someone who had anxiety getting behind the wheel again after months of not driving. He gave me a lot of recommendations and was very generous with his knowledge. He also gave me some homework to study and practice before the test. Expérience négative: Posting this review on behalf of my wife as I bought the lesson her behalf. She drove with Aswan and things did not get off to a good start. First, when she got in the car the instructor said she needed to pay, when she told her that she already paid by e-transfer the instructor said "why did you do that?! - then you have to pay taxes!", first sign something strange is going on. Second while driving, the instructor was very abrupt and not patient. Third, she was answering phone calls and speaking on the phone during a lesson. When you are paying an hour of someone's time, you should get their undivided attention, they can look at missed calls once the lesson is over. Lastly, she had music on which my wife found distracting, admittedly she could have asked to turn it off but as a new driver she was not sure what was normal with driving schools. I just called the school to provide my feedback and was only offered that going forward a new instructor would be assigned. I'm not asking for a full refund, but I offered to buy more classes and believe that either a discount for future packages, or a refund or partial refund of this first class should be provided. That said, we'll find another driving school.

Expérience négative: This message is from someone behalf who took the drive lessons . Very poor services and instructor him self needs a training. He was also dishonesty, gave lesson of 1.5 hours and took the money for 2 hours by telling a lie. Driver was new and he started scream when new driver did any mistake. Every time the new driver have to call him to get the schedule. Never ever, we will recommend Ottawa driving school to any one. If someone wants to waste time and money then hire Ottawa driving school.

Expérience fantastique: I felt too confident about my driving that I went to Full G test on my first attempt without a driving lesson, unfortunately I failed. I took a 2 hours refreshing lesson with Althea and I passed the full G test on the first attempt after the lesson. I recommend this school.

Ray also have very solid knowledge of vehicles, traffic and driving. Expérience fantastique: It was a nice practice for G road test with Fahim Bakth. Very knowledgeable and humble person ever I drove with. He just tune me some very important tips to not only pass the G test but to be a defensive driver, personally I recommend to take a lesson with him.

I contacted him and I had my real first driving lesson with Shahed and he provided me with the best teaching and knowledge skills/experience. I felt comfortable, relaxedness, very good about driving the car on the road. I wish I can give Shahed a 10 stars out of 5. He knows about teaching and I am so happy to have him for my driving lessons. Please give Shahed a reward or something because he is the best instructor ever. Expérience positive: Classroom was great, but communication with the office and instructors has left a lot to be desired. Been struggling to get an instructor for the 10 hours of in car training. Ghosted by instructors just to be told they don't want to work on the weekends after days of trying to get a response. I'm getting very disappointed. I just have to pray they'll honor what I paid for.

Expérience fantastique: I passed my G2 Road Test on my First Try thanks to Majed and Ottawa Driving School! I took the online BDE express course with 10-hours of in-car instruction, and also purchased a road test car rental package. When signing up, Ottawa Driving School was quick to respond and provided me with all the information to my questions. As well, because I took the Express course delivery, I was able to complete 10-hours of in-car instruction within 2-weeks (extremely helpful with a time-sensitive date of test). I highly recommend Majed as an Instructor for both beginner and anxious drivers. Majed was always on time, flexible with my work schedule, patient and extremely knowledgeable as an Instructor. What I found sets Majed apart is his ability to break down techniques and concepts, which ensures understanding and comfortability with all manoeuvres no matter how 'basic' they may seem. Because of this approach, a relationship of trust between student and instructor is formed. This is extremely valuable, and not the same experience i've seen from some of my peers who've learned through other driving schools.

Expérience fantastique: I took driving lessons and rented a car for my G test with Amin. I was nervous about being able to pass the test but he was very helpful in pointing out what I did well, and what I needed to improve on. He showed me both routes that the G test could be taken on and thanks to his help, I was able to pass and get my G license.

Expérience positive: I passed my G2 road test on my first attempt, thanks to Althea! She improved my driving skill by alot. Very detail explanations about everything. She would ask me to repeat everything until I master it. She has a small car, so parking was easy. The reason why i gave 4 stars is because in the beginning they assigned me to Zahir which has longer car, despite that I have requested a small car! His way of teaching made me felt uncomfortable, so I'm glad i changed after wasting 3h with him.

Expérience positive: Everyone's experiences differ based on the driving instructor they are given, so take these reviews with a grain of salt since one man's trash is another man's treasure. As someone who has literally never driven a car before, not even any practice with my family, and suffering with anxiety about driving on the road, this was certainly something. I had a pretty bad experience with Aswan personally as I found her to be way too mean and I was being yelled at far more than getting taught (she knew I was a completely new driver with zero form of experience and anxiety about being on the road), and in the end she just amplified my fear of driving. I practiced for 1 hour with her, and afterwards made the judgement that I am not comfortable with her. She's clearly impatient and lacks respect for those who are completely new. The driving school did respect my wishes and switched my instructor to Mahmoud, which I had a great time learning with. He was extremely patient with me during my lessons, and taught me greatly about driving (without ever yelling or disrespecting me). If you are in the Kanata area, I highly recommend taking him as your instructor, especially if you are a completely new driver with zero car experience!

Expérience fantastique: I had the chance to take driving lessons with Majed to prepare for my G2, I really thought I knew everything before starting but Majed proved me wrong. I am 100% a better driver after taking these lessons and would definitely recommend him over and over to friends and family. He is kind, professional and an overall great instructor.

Expérience positive: I had a very good experience with Aswan from the Ottawa Driving School - she is an amazing instructor! She is a kind and professional teacher, was always punctual for our lessons, and has a very positive and friendly demeanor. She teaches you all of the maneuvers and shares really good tips. She is patient and helps instill confidence with new/nervous drivers while making sure to teach you to be a safe driver on the road. I would recommend her for in-car lessons for the BDE course and road test prep. Thank you for all of your help Aswan!

Expérience fantastique: I had a good time learning how to drive with Jack and then later on Zhargon. These two instructors were patient and knew how to relay driving instructions to me as a beginner. I recommend them both, especially Zhargon as he helped me pass my G2 with just one attempt, and the driving school.

Expérience négative: Watched the instructor driving 90 in the 60 zone then at the next set of lights, he got impatient, turned right did a uturn and pulled right to get around a red light on Riverside Dr this morning. This instructor with a license plate of CPNX126 Blue Toyota Carolla is supposed to be teaching young drivers the rules? Although the company is stating below that none of their instructors drive a Blue Toyota Corolla, I took pictures of the vehicle with the sign on the roof.

Expérience fantastique: My driving instructor was Zarghon. He was punctual for the lessons and corrected all my mistakes. He never allowed me as a student to feel dumb or anything of that sort. He encouraged me to keep practicing and not give up when I was struggling with a driving concept. If he ever had to cancel for some reason he always communicated it well and timely, and also always made up for it by compromising his schedule to fit me in so I can receive the training I needed. The experience felt so stress free and liberating knowing that I have an instructor that cares and wants to see each student succeed. Zarghon knew the laws of the road very well and informed me of them clearly. My test in very soon and I've never felt so prepared. Thank you again so much, for being a safe and educational driving school.

I took the road test preparation and car rental package on an urgent notice and the team assisted me really well and assigned one of their best instructors (Althea). The guidance was on point and did not only help me pass the road test but also I felt that my driving has actually improved alot.

Expérience positive: Your experience with this business will mostly depend on the instructor you are assigned. Read through the reviews, identify and demand one of the highly recommended instructors. I was assigned Aswan the first time, and I had the most horrible driving experience. I mentioned this to the school in an email and was assigned Fokrul Mohamed, who was just amazing. He was calm, patient, and most importantly, reinforced my good driving habits and gently brought out where there was scope for improvement. I will highly recommend Fokrul Mohamed for his calm personality, especially for experienced adult learners such as newcomers to Canada. 5 stars for Mohamed, but rating this school a 3 star for assigning me a horrible instructor the first time, inspite of complaints against her as seen in other reviews.

Expérience fantastique: I have used Ottawa Driving school for both of my daughters. The convenient location of the Kanata classroom and the online classes worked well for both girls. The registration was quick and easy. 'Jack' has been an amazing instructor. He was always kind, courteous and accommodating when arranging the lessons. He was a great in-car instructor and helped the girls get the confidence they needed to become responsible drivers. I would highly recommend booking him when it's also time for the in-car driver's test. Why? The kids can use the same car they were trained in, and it was stress-free the day of the test because he was there to explain the process so there was less anxiety about taking the test. Thanks very much Jack and the Ottawa driving school!

Expérience négative: I had a horrible experience yesterday while taking driving lessons from one of your instructors, Aswan. Although I clearly mentioned I am a beginner, she yelled at me on several occasions. I mentioned to her during driving that I was feeling nervous; despite that, she screamed at me when I made a mistake. Behind the wheel is already a situation under pressure and with Aswan being so rude, it affected me mentally resulting in lack of confidence and fear. She is not fit to be an instructor with that temper and a complete lack of patience with novices. How can an instructor expect the student to not make mistakes? I will suggest to stay away. I lost my driving confidence because of this.

Expérience négative: I have worked with two drivers from this school. Both times I mentioned that I have anxiety and need a more calm instructor. Both times they referred me to intense, high strung instructors who were not compatible with my needs. I would STRONGLY recommend not going to this school if you have anxiety.

Je suis vraiment contente car Jacques étais mon instructeur , j’ai pris 4h de cours avec Jacques , il m’a aidé à bien prendre confiance en moi, il a débloqué mon stress et m’as bien expliqué comment faire le parking parallèle, le reverse parking , le 3point turn. Expérience négative: This driving school was very unprofessional. First I was assigned an instructor who was outside of my area and had to request another one. Then when I received an instructor, I was asked to reschedule lessons multiple times. The instructor also took a phone call during one of the lessons and his directions were often confusing and sometimes incorrect. The staff who coordinated payments with me were friendly and efficient, but the rest of my experience was mostly awful.

Expérience fantastique: I had the immense pleasure of having Jack as my driving instructor. He made the very nervous driver that I am feel very comfortable and relaxed. During our lessons, he would make jokes and tell me funny stories to lighten up the mood and cure me of my anxiety. He quickly identified my needs and tailored the lessons to me so I could improve my driving and parking skills. In fact, he was so invested in my driving education that, one day, even though he had a family emergency, he still made time for me. I will never forget that.
