Expérience fantastique: Gary était un excellent instructeur!

Expérience positive: Peut-être que cet endroit est incroyable pour apprendre à conduire des motos, mais mon fils a suivi le cours pour se préparer à son examen de conduite en voiture et c'était juste correct. Le principal problème était que la dernière séance en voiture était censée être un test de conduite simulé dans la zone de l'enregistrement, et cela ne s'est pas produit, donc j'ai dû passer 3 jours avec mon fils à apprendre la zone pour se préparer à l'examen. De plus, les vidéos préenregistrées en classe n'étaient pas de la meilleure qualité. Nous ne ferons pas appel à cet endroit pour notre deuxième enfant.

Expérience fantastique: Extrêmement reconnaissant envers Coach Garry Mcconnell et ses nombreux enseignements en tant que conducteur. J'étais inscrit au Cours de Formation de Conducteur de Base et j'ai appris des compétences vitales nécessaires en tant que conducteur grâce aux 10 heures de cours qui ont été dispensées. Grâce à ses méthodes de conditionnement et d'enseignement d'un élève, il les prépare non seulement à être prêts pour l'examen, mais aussi à être préparés à de nombreux scénarios de conduite différents. J'ai pu réussir mon examen dès ma première tentative grâce à ces leçons.

Expérience fantastique: J'ai eu Garry comme mon instructeur pour mon cours de conduite de classe 5. Avec ses années d'expérience associées à ses compétences en communication, il était excellent pour fournir des informations, des conseils et des astuces. Il était strict lorsque nécessaire, mais toujours dans un souci d'apprentissage. Étant donné son passé d'examinateur de tests routiers en Alberta, il était capable d'expliquer ce que les examinateurs recherchent exactement lors de l'examen d'un candidat au test routier. En plus de cela, même après nos 10 heures de cours en véhicule payées, il a insisté à de nombreuses reprises pour que je lui envoie un texto ou que je l'appelle pour toute question de conduite que je pouvais avoir. À l'approche de mon jour d'examen routier, j'ai profité de son offre et il était ravi de m'aider, gratuitement. Cela incluait même des messages explicatifs sur différents concepts et procédures de conduite, ainsi qu'un appel téléphonique (malgré son emploi du temps chargé) pour répondre à mes questions de dernière minute. De plus, il a refusé avec insistance d'accepter tout type de pourboire en espèces ou de cadeau. J'ai fini par réussir mon examen routier, et il était ravi d'apprendre cela. La plupart des écoles de conduite facturent plus de 1000 $ pour un forfait de cours en ligne dans le véhicule. Je pense que Wheels Training Centre est la seule école de conduite digne de facturer autant, pourtant ils ne demandent que 672 $. Je recommande fortement.

Expérience fantastique: Un ÉNORME merci à Gary et Rich pour avoir enseigné un cours de moto de base incroyable. Je suis arrivé sans aucune expérience de conduite et leurs connaissances m'ont aidé à me sentir tellement à l'aise sur une moto. Pendant les deux jours de cours, j'ai beaucoup appris et j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à le faire. Je reviendrai certainement pour essayer d'autres cours afin de perfectionner mes compétences en moto. Je recommande vivement Wheels Training Centre à absolument tout le monde. Expérience fantastique: Quelle expérience formidable. Les deux instructeurs étaient aimables, patients et amusants. Ils avaient tellement de types de vélos différents à essayer, ce qui m'a aidé à devenir sûr de moi sur de nombreux vélos. Je recommanderais totalement ce cours à quiconque.

Expérience négative: L'école a confirmé la disponibilité des leçons en voiture pour le mois prochain. Après le paiement, ils ont refusé de réserver des leçons tant que je n'avais pas terminé le cours théorique, rendant la date confirmée impossible. J'ai demandé un remboursement complet ; ils ont facturé des frais administratifs de 55 $. Le propriétaire m'a traité de 'ridicule' au téléphone. Mauvaise communication et service client.

Expérience fantastique: Vraiment un cours incroyable pour les débutants, les instructeurs sont très patients et ont beaucoup d'expérience eux-mêmes ! Avant le cours, je n'avais même jamais monté sur un vélo auparavant, mais le dernier jour, nous roulions tous en groupe autour de la région.

Expérience fantastique: Je viens de terminer le cours de formation de base sur moto du Wheels Training Center Inc. Les instructeurs Gary et Steve étaient tous deux extrêmement compétents. Ils ont fourni une variété de motos à conduire et ont veillé à ce que tout le monde soit à l'aise avec chacune d'elles. Expérience fantastique: Fortement recommandé ! Je suis passé d'une grande nervosité à l'idée de conduire, venant seulement d'un jour d'expérience de conduite avec un ami, à me sentir très à l'aise et à réussir mon test sur route seulement 4 jours après avoir terminé le cours de sécurité - et j'ai réussi avec confiance. Gary était un instructeur très expérimenté et engageant, très bien équilibré avec Gunther qui avait également d'excellents conseils d'expérience et des conseils techniques tout au long. Tout était très fluide, bonne communication, attentionné, et pas du tout intimidant. Ils ont rendu l'apprentissage de la conduite totalement amusant et je suis content de les avoir choisis. Petits pas qui ont mené à des compétences ancrées. Gary a également pris le temps de répondre aux questions avant que nous arrivions au cours, alors n'hésitez pas à lui poser des questions sur les motos ou les équipements auxquels vous pensez avant le cours.

Expérience fantastique: Je recommande vivement ! J'ai suivi un cours de sécurité à moto pendant deux jours et je suis passé de ne pas savoir comment en démarrer une à acheter un Victory Highball la semaine suivante et à le conduire avec confiance (après les trois premières secondes de toute façon, sortir du garage était avant tout une question d'esprit après tous les conseils de ne pas acheter quelque chose de si puissant). Les instructeurs étaient complets, très bons avec nous tous, y compris les quatre femmes qui suivaient le cours, très axés sur la sécurité et excellents pour renforcer notre confiance. Vous ne le regretterez pas.

Expérience fantastique: J'étais la maman non-rider de ma famille de riders de type enduro et nous avons suivi le cours ensemble en famille. Nous avons eu une expérience merveilleuse. Chacun de nous a appris de nouvelles compétences et acquérit des idées. Je recommande vivement de suivre une formation avec Wheels. J'ai surmonté mes peurs et envisage d'acheter ma première moto à 57 ans.

Expérience fantastique: Ma famille de 4 personnes a rejoint Wheels ce week-end et a eu une excellente expérience. Les instructeurs sont très expérimentés et compétents. Bien que nous roulions déjà en motos DIRT, en tant que famille, nous avons constaté que les connaissances et les compétences requises pour conduire « correctement » en ville et sur l'autoroute peuvent différer considérablement. Expérience fantastique: Je suis tellement heureux d'avoir choisi Wheels Training Centre et je me sens très chanceux que Garry ait été mon instructeur de conduite pour mon cours de 10 heures. J'ai toujours eu de l'anxiété au volant, mais Garry m'a ramené aux bases et m'a patiemment appris tout, du fonctionnement des véhicules à la conduite sur autoroute. Il était extrêmement patient et minutieux dans sa façon d'enseigner. Plus important encore, c'est l'instructeur le plus attentionné et passionné que vous rencontrerez jamais. Il se soucie vraiment de la sécurité des conducteurs (pas seulement la vôtre, mais aussi celle des autres) et il priorise que nous apprenions à conduire en toute sécurité et correctement. J'ai déjà suivi des cours de conduite, mais mon précédent instructeur ne se souciait certainement pas autant ni ne couvrait autant de leçons que Garry. Je pense que ce cours valait absolument l'investissement et j'espère suivre le cours de conduite d'hiver une fois que la neige sera de retour. Merci Garry pour tout ce que vous m'avez appris!

Expérience fantastique: Je n'étais pas monté sur une moto depuis 35 ans et je voulais suivre un cours de sécurité et recommencer à conduire après avoir acheté une moto ; je voulais un cours qui met vraiment l'accent sur la sécurité et Garry et Jason ont absolument répondu à mes attentes. Notre classe avait des personnes qui n'avaient même jamais conduit une voiture, encore moins conduit une moto, et quelques pilotes avec plus d'expérience, mais Garry et Jason s'assuraient que tout ce qu'ils nous enseignaient était pertinent et important pour nous tous, qu'il s'agisse de nouveaux pilotes ou de pilotes expérimentés. Je suis ressorti du cours avec une compréhension beaucoup plus approfondie des concepts de sécurité à moto et des techniques de conduite, et je me sens beaucoup plus sûr sur la selle et très bien préparé pour mon prochain examen de conduite. J'ai suivi le cours de sécurité de base de deux jours le week-end et je recommande vivement Garry et son équipe chez Wheels. Je prévoirai probablement également de réserver une place dans leur cours de conduite avancé cet été. 5 étoiles tout le long !!!!

Expérience négative: Je ne ferais jamais confiance à une entreprise qui abandonne un véhicule au milieu d'une voie de tournant, surtout sans allumer les feux de détresse, ni aucun feu en particulier.

Expérience fantastique: Je suis un élève conducteur et j'ai conduit avec le propriétaire Garry. C'est un programme incroyable et le suivre mènera au succès, j'ai fait un total de 10 heures de conduite et je n'ai eu aucune plainte, si je faisais une erreur, Garry m'en informait, me disait ce que j'avais mal fait et comment je devrais m'améliorer/montrer comment cela affecte les autres conducteurs. Programme 10/10 que je recommanderais à quiconque. Je suis maintenant confiant en conduisant.

Expérience fantastique: I was always put off with driving, I had never felt comfortable behind the wheel - I went to driving school after driving school, instructor after instructor, with no luck; I failed the road test multiple times. Garry, however, took me back to the basics and even took me under the hood of the vehicle, familiarizing me (an automobile illiterate) with the operational systems and basic vehicle maintenance. With his coaching and persistent support, I got my license, but more importantly - I feel ready and able to drive anywhere safely in all conditions. I would recommend Wheels to everyone - regardless of expertise level. Thanks again Garry!!

Expérience fantastique: I took the 2-day weekend Basic Motorcycle Training Course. It is a good format to quickly get up-to-speed on basics and some more advanced skills with the help of experienced instructors, and to get you ready for the Class 6 Road Test. Marla and Gary, the owners, were also quite friendly and helpful before, during, and after the training. A great experience throughout!

Expérience fantastique: I had a wonderful experience with Wheels Training Centre driver's education. I took the road only course, designed for people with their class 5 who need to refresh their skills. Prior to the course, I was comfortable enough driving in towns and small cities, but not comfortable driving in Calgary. I used this course as a sort of headstart to get me comfortable driving in the city. The price point of driver's education from Wheels Training is also on the lower end of the price range when compared to all the other driving schools in Calgary. What I didn't know is that the standard 3-4+ driving courses offered at the different driving schools in Alberta are all the exact same standard curriculums. My instructor was Garry, the owner of Wheels. He is a great driving instructor, clearly has years of experience, and I he also used to be a road test examiner. Garry also provided clear, easy to understand instructions and was enjoyable to do lessons with. Being in a vehicle with someone for 2 hours if you're a new or nervous driver isn't always the most fun experience, but Garry did a great job of making me feel at ease and made the lessons helpful and informative. I took the new driver's education from AMA when I was 20 or so, and I can't say the two instructors I had lessons with were as enjoyable to work with in comparison to Garry. (The AMA instructors were fine, but I left some lessons overwhelmed and frustrated.) The lessons, at least with Garry, were available 7 days a week and at a wide range of morning, afternoon and evening hours. They also pick you up at your home and they let me change a lesson date with enough notice. The vehicle I used to practice on was a compact SUV. Driving something different than a car was something I wanted, so that was great as well. I would 100% recommend Garry and his team at Wheels Training Centre for their quality drivers education and excellent price point. I am also happy with my level of improvement in driving with confidence and capability! Thanks folks! See you safely on the road.

Expérience fantastique: So glad I did my basic motorcycle course with Wheels! Gary (owner and instructor) is an established rider, with a wealth of experience under his belt. He's been riding for over 3 decades and will share numerous tales of real-life bike experience. He teaches you the basic safety of being out on the road and how to protect yourself and other riders. He is very respectful of everyone who comes to the course. He has experience as a examiner for the registry as well so he is aware of how to help you be test ready. The course is incredibly valuable, and I came having never ridden a bike before, to being so comfortable with a few different bike options and training excercises. He puts a primary on safety and respect and Wheels is an excellent choice if you want to learn how to ride safely and correctly!

The instructor gave really useful feedback, and I was able to improve past what I thought I would be able to. I also really liked trying the different styles of motorcycles.

Expérience fantastique: Took the weekend basic motorcycle course and it was fantastic! I have only been on a motorcycle a few times and wanted to get my class 6. Garry and Gunther did an amazing job training and had some excellent tips for the beginner. Being able to try out a variety of motorcycles during the course was a bonus and really helped me figure out which type would be best for me. I was able to take a class 6 road test a week later and the training paid off as I was able to pass on the first try!

Expérience négative: If you have never risen a bike or need instruction on the absolute basic operation of a bike, the basic course is for you. If you can ride a bike, shift gears, brake, turn, (ride a dirt bike) this is not the course for you. It will NOT prepare you completely for a class 6 road test unlike other driver training programs. Time spent on a bike riding around with a mentor will gain more skills, knowledge and experience than this course will.

Expérience fantastique: I really want to ride with my dad as my dad is getting older and after contracting a few schools, Garry called me and convinced me that Wheels Training Centre was the school for me. He wasn't wrong, I enjoyed both days, the class is somewhat intensive as in you get a lot of riding in. The staff is great and willing to help quickly. I got enough experience and confidence to take out my VTR1000F for the first time and I did, around 200kms in a day. I was comfortable that I could do it and I had fun. I think anyone who wants to start riding in the street should take a class, and if you ask me, Wheels Training Centre would be my choice again.

Expérience fantastique: Great experience. The course is run by a couple of older, very experienced riders who are well trained and know what they are talking about. They have a wide variety of bikes for people to use so you can a good sense of what style bike you enjoy. They also cover a lot of what is on a road test. They are very easy to talk to and love to answer all the questions you have. I would recommend my friends and family here.

Expérience fantastique: Course: Basic Motorcycle Safety Course Crucial course taught by people who have a combined riding experience almost quadruple than how long I am presently alive. Able to coach professionally and in a personal manner despite being in a group setting. Experiences and stories, both the good and the bad, behind all the skills and portions of the course they teach. The instructors are able to inspire confidence with ease. I recommend taking the weeknight course which is split into three sections. Being able to sleep on the skills and lessons made a big difference in being able to participate in the final group ride. Take the course, you won’t regret it.

Expérience fantastique: Great instructors, great experience. I did the basic safety course option, and you get you on the bike right away, which was nice because I was expecting an in class portion. My one recommendation would be to pace yourself as it's quite physically and mentally draining, so pace yourself during the day and the course of the weekend.

Expérience fantastique: Rode my first motorcycle here and was able to drive it safely on Calgary roads the next day. Gary and Gunther are well qualified and the perfect trainers to teach you about safety and ultimately that road test to ensure you pass without issue!

Expérience fantastique: Did the Women’s only class and Allen was the absolute best instructor. He was so patient and knowledgeable. The course was absolutely amazing I highly recommend this course to anyone.

Expérience positive: Even though i was a little nervous on Day one they made me feel comfortable. When Garry and/or Toss noticed I was struggling because they care the pulled me out of the exercise so I could practice. Garry cares for his students and seems like he could be a rough instructor that's because he wants all of his students to succeed and besafe.

Expérience fantastique: I competed the Basic Motorcycle Training course on the weekend and had the time of my life! Allan and Tim were a great team of instructors. They quickly broke the ice and got us on the bikes very quickly. They gave us a good overview of the bikes‘ systems, spotlighting the importance of careful maintenance to ensure safety. I found it really helpful to be able to swap bikes with other riders to gain confidence and experience. Once we were all comfortable with the basics (starting on a hill, emergency stopping, cornering, etc.) we had a blast riding around as a group. My favourite part by far was touring around on the streets, gaining experience and confidence. I am so thankful to Tim and Allen for their careful instruction, attention to detail, and humour! I highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to gain experience and confidence in preparation for their road test.

Expérience fantastique: I just spent two days with three amazing instructors and 8 fabulous women doing the WOMENS ONLY Basic motorcycle course. Many of us went from never riding a bike or only being tail fluff to riding as a pose of awesome biker chicks on the ROAD. Not only were the instructors knowledgeable but they were approachable and willing to answer ANY question and calm any nerve. The course was full with information with tons of time to practise skills, talk through scenarios and laugh at the hilarious "biker vocabulary." I would recommend this course to any woman pondering taking up motorcycle riding. You will leave feeling confident and with some strong connections to the women that went on this journey with you. Expérience fantastique: I took my class 5 driving lessons with Wheels. I'm wayyy more confident in my driving now, and I feel much safer! Garry is a fantastic teacher, very friendly and also very professional. I could tell that they really do care about your safety as a driver and ensuring you are all set for your road test, while also making you more comfortable driving on the road in general. Plus they're not after your money like some other driving schools. I really recommend them to anyone looking for a driving school, my experience with them was great.

We were given lots of time on the motorcycles and they provided a broad range of skill development. It was also nice that they had multiples types of motorcycles to try your skills on. Expérience fantastique: My husband bought me this course, and I have never ever ridden a bike and had no clue about anything! They train you on everything from starting the bike to the end! I was extremely nervous and not confident at all and definitely didn't believe i could operate a motorcycle in 3 short evenings, but I did they also teach you life saving skills and nag about them too lol Gary and Stephen are both so amazing but heads up, Gary(owner, bad cop) Stephen (instructor, good cop) but Gary just wants you to truly understand everything involved and most of all your safety! Thats why he's a bit strict but he's a softy inside and I couldn't have learned from better gems like these 2! Im confident to get on the road and will be back for an advanced course with these 2 again! Highly recommend them

Expérience fantastique: The instructor was clear and patient. they had a variety of different motorcycles for us to try and the instructor made sure that we were comfortable with all the exercises before we moved on. Towards the end of the course he asked us if there was anything we felt we needed to work on. He also made sure to tell us when we were doing a good job. I learned a lot and I would absolutely tell people to take the basic course before trying to ride on the road.

I got to ride 4 different styles of bikes - all in excellent condition and there were so many more I could have tried. Expérience fantastique: I completed my Class 6 Motorcycle course through Wheels Training Centre a few weeks ago, and I am very proud to say that I am now a fully licensed, Class 6 motorcyclist! Garry and Steve were both fantastic instructors, and were very clear and professional in their instructions. The selection of bikes offered in the course is great, and you have the opportunity to swap out to another bike in your second or third day of the course, to switch things up. Expérience fantastique: Can’t say enough about my experience with Wheels Training Centre. Keep in mind I never give reviews (good or bad). This time I’ll make an exception. I was a little apprehensive booking a basic motorcyle training course, what in the world did I get myself into sort of thing. That thought disappeared from the moment the class started. Instead I had a blast. Lots of learning and lots of fun. I highly recommend “Wheels” for anyone and everyone looking to get into motorcycles or even those in it now. Expérience positive: This is a great introduction for the person who has no motorcycle driving experience. It is a very hands-on orientation with lots of time for practice drills. The instructors were terrific, taking the time to answer our questions fully, explaining each aspect of the skill they were teaching, and demo-ing each move for us.
