My driving instructor Tody was literally exceptional in understanding my problems and helping me along the way. She understands how people learn and how she should teach. And with my autism that means a lot. This also goes for the online aspect of the course. Was impressed with that as well, and did me well.

I am thankful that I had Sandy as my instructor and wished I had become a student at the Young Drivers Orangeville location sooner. Sandy is an effective communicator and an empathetic instructor. I felt anxious about passing my G road test and Sandy understood how I felt and helped to alleviate my anxiety with words of encouragement and funny jokes here and there! If you want to be a confident driver and want a positive and motivating learning environment Sandy is your guy!

Expérience positive: The absolute worst experience with head office (this does not reflect the Orangeville location as it was out of their control) . I purchased the complete package, booking in car lessons took 17 phone calls and 3 emails before I even got a response. My daughter completed the in class portion in March, it is now October and she finally has her 1st lesson. When finally booking, at home pick up and drop off was included,as per the email confirmation from head office. Now that my daughter has in car lessons booked, at home pick up is no longer included. Head office is truly doing the instructor a disservice as he is fabulous. My daughter was instantly comfortable and confident driving with Sandy.

Expérience fantastique: At first I was nervous to start lessons but then on the first day of lessons my instructor Sandy was very nice and made the lessons very fun. By the end of the lessons I was no longer nervous driving.

I was definitely not the most confident driver when starting, however with the constant encouragement, I was able to feel a lot more comfortable behind the wheel. With Sandy’s sense of humour, it made the course fun, and allowed me to relax much more. I highly recommend Young Drivers, especially to those a little bit nervous, entering the world of driving!

Expérience fantastique: It took a little juggling to navigate the Covid lockdown's and restrictions but the Team at YD's Orangeville did an outstanding job of keeping us informed and on track with our son's driving education. Email updates and reminders, we were never guessing. Tobi's in class instruction was on point and our son enjoyed Sandy's interesting sense of humour and instruction time on the road. Sandy did a great job of putting him at ease behind the wheel, learning the rules of the road. Today he passed the G2 Road test and he could not be happier. Thanks Sandy, Tobi and Team, Great Job!!

I wasn't very confident going into the driving lessons, but he made sure to tailor his teaching to me so I would retain the information well. From our first interaction with Pam MacDonald to transfer him to Orangeville, then receiving his in car session dates, the appointment reminders, progress reports, accommodating appointment changes and booking his in car test, she was courteous, helpful and always very professional. The best part of the entire course however was working with his in car driving instructor Sandy. Sandy is very knowledgeable, was always on time and made learning to drive enjoyable.

Expérience négative: Noticed your car teaching in Orangeville. This is completely unethical and unacceptable. I am a driving instructor from Brampton. I spoke with the BDE(beginner driver education) and they confirmed again that no one is allowed to teach. You guys are harming kids that are underage. This is extreme professional misconduct. You are lying to people and that's just wrong! I have reported you to the ministry and to the by laws. I hope you come to your senses and stop doing harm to people.

Taking YD definitely boosted that and having Sandy as my teacher enabled my nerves to be much less come test day.
