I had zero experience in driving prior to starting my classes with her and she was patient enough to teach me while helping me pass my road test. If you want to pass your road test, I’d definitely recommend her. She knows her job quite well.

Expérience négative: I chose this school for the great reviews. I paid in full, upfront, for 10 hours of practical lessons and to decrease insurance. I received 2.5 hours of the promised 10 hours of practical lessons, and none of the insurance lowering classes. We had a gap in communication after the second lesson (which was shortened to 1 hour without notice, because her friend was taking a driving exam and the instructor couldn't focus on the road), and no more lessons were scheduled; eventually the instructor stopped responding to me all together. I have not been issued a refund, even after requesting it and having received no where close to the promised lessons. An absolute rip off - do not use this service.

Expérience fantastique: Sandeep is an awesome instructor! She helped me pass my Advanced test after I had just arrived in Canada. She gives useful pointers on how to pass the test and answers all questions you might have before taking the test. I highly recommend her!

Expérience négative: So I was scheduled for an 8 am lesson and I had booked it ahead of time. The lady did not show up. She did not even apologize and try to reschedule or even answer my call. She had full knowledge that my test was scheduled and I needed the lesson. Regardless of whether she forgot or scheduled someone else, it shows absolute unprofessionalism and lack of accountability on Blue Bird's part.

Expérience fantastique: My daughter had already received her GDL and passed with flying colours. She had driven for several years, however, passing the advanced road test is no easy task these days. It's not enough to be a good driver. We couldn't prepare her for this. Not only that, but her confidence was shaken when she received a very negative tester who yelled and berated her. Just one lesson with Sandeep was all it took to get her confidence back. This woman is a miracle worker...so amazingly kind and patient. She is knowledgeable and detailed in her instruction. She helped to prepare our daughters for the advanced test. Not only did our daughter receive her license, but she is an even better driver now. We would highly recommend this driving school to anyone out there who wants a competent and caring teacher. If I had to do it all over again, I would have done lessons with this school from the very beginning. I would give her 10 stars if I could. We are most grateful for her service! Thank you Sandeep.

Expérience négative: I tried using this program to help me pass my test because I saw all these great reviews. I was very disappointed because my instructor was very unprofessional. She took me to a car wash to wash her car during my time, she was constantly on the phone and never took me anywhere except for my testing area. The second she saw that I had past driving experience and could manage on the road, she stopped watching me drive because she assumed I knew everything. I don't recommend this driving school at all, especially for the price.

I fell more comfortable, feeling less stressed during the lessons time and undoubtedly this instructor is more knowledgeable. This school also has affordable cost to compare others. Therefore, from my perspectives, this is the best driving school in Calgary.

She helped me overcome first time nervous (have never driven before) and gives great instructions/tips about driving/parking. Made parallel parking very easy to understand! Really helped me making proper decisions on the road. Overall very knowledgeable and would definitely reccomend.

Expérience négative: She would go home to change for her second job on my time that I paid for and on another day she showed a woman a house she was renting also on my class time. Then another day she cut my time early and said she would give it to me the next day and it never happened. I would highly recommend Derek browns driving school. Will you pass the test in her class? Yes. Because she only shows you how to drive in the area that you will take your test. Thankfully my mom showed me how to drive. Also it’s $60 to rent her car for the test. Everywhere else is $50. Ps don’t say I didn’t attend your class because I still have the written receipt that’s also signed.

Expérience fantastique: Before taking the 10 hour Class 5 course, I had very little experience driving (less than 5 hours total + it was a year ago), and I was just able to pass the road test on my first try. My driving skills do need a bit more improvement, but I'd say the hardest part of the road test was dealing with nerves. And I'm definitely not a fast learner, so I think the 10 hour course here should be good enough for the average person. Awareness is key. A friend of mine recommended Blue Bird to me and I'm passing the recommendation along. Good luck.

Now I remain concious of these when I drive. Even if you have been driving for years, this brush up will be very helpful to pass your road test.

Expérience fantastique: I took 2 brush up classes with Sandeep and I passed my Basic Road Test even though it was snowing hard on my test day. Sandeep has a keen eye to identify the things you need to improve and it's definitely worth the investment to do a brush up classes if you want to pass your test in Calgary even though you are a seasoned driver from elsewhere (I have 10 years driving experience city and highway but Calgary is definitely something else!).

The date and time was not fixed before hand, even if I would request, rather at 8pm the day before we are supposed to meet. Did not even get my refund even though I reached in person and requested for it.
