Expérience fantastique: Je suis allé chez Aftab Qureshi pour obtenir mon permis G2 et je n'ai pas pu faire meilleur choix. C'est un très bon enseignant et il a une manière d'enseigner unique qui permet aux élèves de rapidement rattraper leur retard. Il enseigne comment conduire en toute sécurité et se soucie réellement de chacun de ses élèves. Il m'a appris à conduire en un mois. Elle était une conductrice nerveuse, mais Aftab a travaillé avec elle et l'a aidée à obtenir son permis de conduire complet du premier coup. Il fournit à ses étudiants de nombreux conseils et astuces utiles pour les aider à devenir des conducteurs sûrs. C'est le meilleur instructeur et il se soucie vraiment de ses élèves. Expérience fantastique: Malgré presque une décennie d'expérience de conduite dans un autre pays, j'ai rapidement réalisé que je devais revoir mes bases de conduite pour m'aligner sur les normes de l'Ontario. M. Aftab non seulement a travaillé patiemment avec moi pour retravailler mes habitudes de conduite et mes mémoires musculaires ancrées, mais il m'a également aidé énormément à obtenir un permis G complet à partir d'un G1 en moins d'un mois, et ce, dès le premier essai ! Expérience fantastique: J'ai eu quelques moniteurs de conduite avant Aftab et c'était définitivement le meilleur que j'ai eu. Il est incroyablement gentil, patient, connaît bien la conduite, méticuleux dans son enseignement et communique rapidement. Il évaluera vos compétences en conséquence et vous enverra une liste de choses à améliorer également. C'est extrêmement utile lorsque vous vous entraînez seul. Le processus de planification de l'examen à l'examen réel a été court et agréable grâce à ses encouragements. Au préalable, j'avais demandé à reprogrammer mon examen à une date ultérieure, ne me sentant pas prêt, mais il a fait remarquer que j'étais assez bon et que je pouvais réussir. J'ai même demandé plus de leçons, mais il a insisté sur le fait que j'étais bon avec juste quelques leçons. J'ai également eu un moment de panique avant l'examen et Aftab m'a calmé et a discuté avec moi jusqu'à ce que je sois prêt. J'ai suivi son conseil tout au long du parcours et j'ai réussi à passer l'examen de conduite G2 lors de ma première tentative malgré mes nombreux doutes et peurs ! Expérience fantastique: I came to know of Good Friends / Aftab through a friend's recommendation. Getting in touch with him was a breeze. Aftab was always approachable, returned calls / messages timely, and has always been an active listener, very prompt and accurate in scheduling all practice classes and also in cases where any change was requested. My experience of getting G2 and G was exceptional, as all practice sessions were timed as per the requirement, delivered with passion, and he had been quite punctual on all the occasions. On the knowledge side, his years of driving experience as instructor is very insightful, and he delivers the driving class with such energy and gives genuine feedback which helps improve driving skills. He cautions and encourages at the same time as required, and tells what needs to be done and how and when, and the entire journey from day zero to pass day leaves a lasting memory. I found Good Friends / Aftab as a professional and reliable trainer / instructor, just as fine as the recommendation I got. Expérience négative: I am still extremely upset and traumatized from going to this driving school. I know there’s a lot of good reviews but sorry i’m just not gonna give one. Was extremely rude and was disrespectful. He seemed like he got mad whenever I would reschedule because I had work that day or had an exam for school. Took 8 months to actually start driving lessons. The terms and conditions were also very forced upon my parents and my decision. Very inconsistent with keeping his words with some things too. It was also extremely uncomfortable when talking to Aftab. He talked about something that should not be a normal conversation with a 17 year old student and a teacher. I know it’s probably not everyone’s experience but this was mine.

I struggled greatly with anxiety when it comes to driving to the point that I am shaking, sweating, my heart is pounding, and I get a freeze response. Aftab had told me from day 1 with my first lesson that I could drive. No matter how much I doubted myself and kept beating myself up for mistakes he never stopped believing in me. Throughout the remaining lessons he would always tell me I can drive and that it wasn’t my skill that was the issue but my mind. He is very strict with his lessons but it is because he wants all his students to be safe drivers. He teaches like a father and puts just enough pressure on you for you to succeed. To be honest, I have felt bad about my driving after some lessons with Aftab because I felt like I failed or did not do as well, because I continued to struggle greatly with my anxiety. I have even cried after practising driving at home with my boyfriend because I was so scared; however, my boyfriend would point out that my driving was fine and I was doing so safely. Today, I passed my G2 test with Aftab on my first try. When I look back on those lessons, I realized why he was so strict with me. The mix of the pressure to perfect my driving and the support/reassurance he gave was exactly what I needed. Otherwise those lessons would have never stayed with me. I strongly recommend Aftab to anyone for lessons especially those who struggle with anxiety. I never thought I could overcome my fear of driving let alone get my G2! I can’t thank you enough Aftab for everything you’ve done for me. I hope to get another lesson from you when it is time for my G test!

Expérience fantastique: I have known Aftab for 5 years now, initially I went to him for G2, I had my doubts with my driving since I came from a discouraging environment but he was able to give me the confidence that I could do it and I passed the G2 on the first try. It was the courage he helped me develop during lessons that made it possible. I was encouraged to take the G exam shortly after so the driving was still fresh in practice but I ended up moving overseas and was not able to tend to it until it was nearing expiration. I barely had any driving practice over the years since I did not have access to a car, but I remembered Aftab because of the positive experience I've had with driving under his instruction so I contacted him, booked some lessons over the month and had the driving exam at the end of the month. I drove whenever I could, and kept practicing, I had my doubts but I passed and got my G with no mistakes. I want to also mention that 3 days prior to the exam I actually got into a parking accident so I was shaken, but Aftab noticed my change in confidence while driving immediately and was able to talk me out of giving into it. Expérience fantastique: So today on August 16,2022 i gave my G2 test and it was my second attempt and i passed it. If i know him earlier i think i am gonna choose this driving school and Aftab. Mr. Aftab gave me lessons. He is such a nice person and instructor which is really hard to find. With driving tips he gave me life tips free. I was not confident for my driving but after taking a class from him i am like driving is easiest thing. The way he teach, talk and give you techniques make anyone’s driving smooth and perfect. On the day of exam he will not stress you instead of that he motivates you and one thing today he told me when i was about to go for test that “ If you got the license then it will be good if not don’t stress about that because it’s just a license your life is not getting end” which really helps me a lot. Expérience fantastique: Aftab is a true zen master. As a new comer to Canada with kids to drive around, I was desperate to get my driving license asap. Due to covid restrictions, the earliest drive test centre date i could get was may 2021. I checked with three driving schools in my neighbourhood and they gave me a generic answer that they couldn't do anything as far as the test was concerned. Then, Aftab was recommended to me and even though I live far away from Markham, I called Aftab and he went out of his way to find a drive test centre for me. I called Aftab on a Monday and by Friday I had my license. That is what you call as going ABOVE and BEYOND what is expected. Aftab understood i was desperate and instead of a plain vanilla excuse he said to leave it to him and he delivered. It took a few hours of lessons to prep me for the test and even though i went to learn about the test, I came back a better person.
