I have never seen an instructor be so open and effective at communication, one who knows what they are doing, and one who can make you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I did my G2 driving test today January 13/2023 at DownsView and i passed from my first attempt. I have been taking lessons and watching videos for driving from him on both of his youtube channels and also his patreon which i have been subscribed to since July 2022. I'm so thankful for Alex because without him i wouldn't have passed and i would recommend to check his patreon cause he has lots of tips and tricks on how to pass the road test regardless of which test centre you chose.

Expérience fantastique: When I started with Alex I had zero experience in driving and I had a belief that I can't drive. Now, not only I have passed my G2 exam with flying colors but I know for sure what I am doing on a road. I learned to enjoy driving, something I didn't think was possible due to my attitude. My last piece in G2 test today happened with another car just in front also parking, making the lining up of initial position a bit tight, plus another one behind on my back. I took about 8 lessons with Alex before writing the test in his car and he was a great instructor! I also really enjoyed making casual conversation with him and he gave honest feedback. Expérience fantastique: I had no previous driving experience and Alex understood my weaknesses and worked specifically to correct my mistakes. He never pushes you to go for the test, he will ask you to postpone your test if he thinks you are not ready. There are many dishonest instructors out there who will take 2 hour long classes even when the student cannot concentrate and take you to far off locations for the test. Another instructor whom I had gone to for lessons before Alex, was only interested in money, he asked me to book a test in Orangeville and charged $350 dollars. Alex will never do such things, he made be book a test at Toronto downsview, which I also believe has an easier route than Orangeville. Don't think twice before going with Alex, he will not make you pass the test but will make you safe driver. I passed my G2 and all credit goes to Alex!

When I pulled back into the Downsview parking lot at the end of my road test, the examiner looked at me and said " I have no feedback, your driving was perfect". This was all because of Alex! His driving experience and knowledge was evident from the first time I met him. He is observant of what your driving strengths and weaknesses are and, through his teach methods, focuses on your weaknesses. He made me an all around better and safer driver and after 5 road lessons I felt confident and prepared for my G2 road test. Trust his process! I am new to driving in Canada got a G1 post Covid closures and was going straight for G based on driving history and was slightly overconfident too. Alex was clear in what is expected from me during the test and corrected me a number of times, including holding the steering when needed. Alex is clear, upfront and protective and seems to have a lot of experience with oversees drivers. He cares about what makes us a safe driver on the road apart from clearing our test. On the day of the test I was nervous and he figured it in a flash. Not just comforting my nerves, he also said something that came in real handy. "Don't think a mistake or two is enough for the examiner to fail you. FINISH STRONG". His point was just do what you are doing till the last minute, the examiner is the judge we are not, finish strong and you will be good. I did make 2 mistakes that may have been minor but relaxed through the route, thanks to Alex!!

Expérience fantastique: As an adult in my 30s, I needed to figure out how to overcome my fear of driving and get on the road for the sake of my family. Alex was the perfect fit of affordability, closeness to my home and overall reputation. I cannot believe how far I have come. Back story: I had my G2 around 10 years ago and let it expire due to my fear of driving, and when I earned it back then I had failed the test several times before somehow passing. I never really felt like I belonged on the road, and I don't think it was safe for me to be out there. Fast forward to the present. Alex transformed my driving mindset and ability to the point where not only did I pass the G2 on the first try with ease, but I am the best driver I have ever been. Alex actually has a background in psychology, so he is able to read when you are tense and help you stay calm. He will also make sure you are more than test-ready - he will empower you to be a better driver than just about everyone on the road. In a very short time, Alex helped me master parallel parking, reverse parking, driving on the road, following the rules of the road, and making smart decisions to stay safe. Forget about MTO-approved nonsense schools where you get no support just to sve a bit on insurance. Alex is the real deal, and through his lessons you will be a great driver.

Expérience fantastique: I finally had a courage and confidence to take and pass my G2 license in 1 take! I waited very last minute to take the drive test (when i say last minute means i took the g2 driving test the day before my G1 license expires‍♀️). I chose Alex as my driving instructor early this year just before the pandemic started because of Covid19. I’ve been with other instructors who told me i was ready to take the drive test but no one was able to really help build up my confidence. Alex is a very honest instructor. He’ll let you know your strengths and weaknesses. When the driving centres reopen, I tried booking for a test before my G1 expires but Alex was able to find a way to book me in before it did. The bookings were already for end of November in all of the centres. I was already anxious and was definitely ready to cancel the test because i felt no confidence at all in driving. Alex believed in me more than I believed in myself. He knew I could drive already but i keep making silly mistakes because of how nervous I am for the test. He let me drive in the highway on the way to the centre to help build my confidence in changing lanes. It did help big time! He showed me the possible route for the exam and explained what will happen and what the examiner may ask me to do. I remembered things he exactly told me. I was lucky enough to get a nice examiner and that helped with my anxiety in passing the drive test. FINALLY HAVE MY G2 LICENSE. Quick advise if you’re going for the test: If you know to yourself the basics of driving and rules, just be safe on the road and you’ll do just fine. The overthinking and nervousness will cause you to make mistakes. Just slow down and BREATHE! GOOD LUCK! THANK YOU ALEX! WE DID IT!
