J'ai eu une facilité à apprendre à conduire en manuel avec lui. 90 minutes suffisent définitivement pour l'apprendre. Mais comme d'autres critiques l'ont mentionné, vous allez devoir pratiquer pour vous sentir confiant avec la conduite manuelle. Je veux dire, la plupart des gens n'apprennent pas à conduire automatique après une seule leçon, donc cela devrait avoir du sens, non ? De plus, vous tirerez beaucoup plus de la classe si vous savez déjà conduire automatique :)

J'ai entendu parler de gtastick et j'ai décidé d'essayer et je peux honnêtement dire que j'ai eu la meilleure expérience que j'aurais pu avoir. L'instructeur de conduite, Stan, est le meilleur. J'ai pris son cours de 2 heures pour un maximum de temps derrière le volant et je suis parti avec plus que ce que j'aurais pu demander en une seule leçon. Il comprend très bien le rôle d'instructeur, il est très sympathique, décontracté et calme. Il sait expliquer tout ce que vous devez savoir de manière très efficace et il maintient tout aussi simple que possible. Si vous cherchez à apprendre, je recommande fortement de prendre sa leçon, je ne dirais pas que je suis parti professionnel car personne ne l'est lors de la première fois, la pratique rend parfait. Cependant, je peux dire que j'ai suffisamment confiance pour me mettre au volant et prendre la route après une seule leçon.

Getting the appointment was extremely simple, no more than a minute on the phone. We spent a good chunk of time on clutch work and stopping and starting. Stan was extremely patient and explained concepts in a very clear and concise manner. He gave lots of very useful tips and had a very practical and realistic approach to his curriculum. The car was clean and very nice. This is the best option for those who already have their licenses and want to learn stick. Would recommend 100%!

Expérience fantastique: StickGTA is the BEST option for learning to drive manual! Other driving schools are less flexible, more expensive and they try to sell you on packages. Stan (the instructor) is a phenomenal teacher who is patient and honest, and was able to teach me and my partner in just 2 2-hour lessons (1-hour of driving per person each lesson; both of us in the car during the lessons so we could learn faster together). Trust me, I've looked into multiple options - called and asked questions - and Stan at StickGTA is the only one I'd recommend.

At the end of the session, I was able to drive on the main surrounding roads. Stan explained the various scenarios and let you practice right afterwards. I am so pleased to see someone created this business as the manual driving community is depleting fast in North America now a days. By sitting and watching- I can only assume that this instructor is amazing. The learner driver was shifting/ taking off almost perfectly with maybe a couple of stalls and bumpy take offs from what I witnessed. Obviously you can only take this review as a a grain of salt but I just needed to praise them for being out there for people who want to learn but don’t have someone to teach them

I only did a 60min lesson with him but I would recommend 90-120mins to really grasp the concept.

Expérience fantastique: I had Stan teach me back in Sept 2022, and it was an excellent time spent learning the basic fundamentals of driving a stick shift car. The biggest thing with Stan was the patience and calmness he brought when letting me learn throughout the lesson. Even though I didn't touch a manual transmission car since getting a new car in May 2023, I was able to recall a lot of the basics he had taught in order for me to drive from the dealership to the auto detail shop that first drive, granted with a few expected stalls. As long as you do not expect to be a professional at driving stick by the end of a single lesson, Stan is an excellent choice if you are wanting to learn how to drive a manual transmission vehicle.

Expérience fantastique: I did a 2 Hour Lesson a few days ago and Stick GTA was prompt and flexible - he even accommodated due to bad weather. Lesson was clear, well paced, and very well structured. I didn't feel rushed or confused at any time. The instructor explained everything really well and answered all my questions. He even guided me through scenarios and emergency situations. The vehicle was appropriate and very clean. 10 out of 5 Stars.

I booked at 90 minute lesson and he had taught me all the basics starting in the parking lot, and by the end of the lessons felt confident driving in decent traffic. Expérience fantastique: Awesome experience! Stan is super chill and very patient. His approach to teaching is perfect for beginners. He introduces techniques one at a time and slowly builds up your skillset until you have everything you need. I was so nervous at first, but I was amazed at how quickly we made progress. His teaching style really helps you build confidence. I still need lots of practice to get better and build muscle memory, but I'm now totally confident that I can get there. Incredibly flexible with scheduling, helped me out when I needed to change due to illness and when finally met, offered to pick up a coffee - and managed to help me remember, in short order, how all the pedals and shifting worked! Lots of practice with different scenarios in a parking lot, and then, an actual on road experience where he was unflappable despite the odd misstep here and there.
