Fantastic experience: We stopped in for a foot peg for a Triumph as a long shot (we don't have Harleys) and the parts person couldn't have been more helpful. Part was shipped to us and we had it in a week. We had wandered upstairs to look at helmets. The woman who served us could not have been more pleasant or helpful, and we bought two helmets! Super impressed with the service.

I am from the Island and ill say not all stores are the same. Dusty was great off the bat with regards on searching for the right bike! Fantastic experience: Today we visited the HD shop in Kamloops and had thee most wonderful experience. My partner just had surgery recently and they took us up to the top floor in their lift so we could see the used bikes and merchandise. Sutherland treated us incredibly well and talked to us about the different bikes that would suit my needs as a new rider. We thoroughly enjoyed looking at the selection of bikes available and the selection of riding gear and apparel. Once we were done another associate came up and assisted us down the lift. We can't sing enough praises for the wonderful staff here and we will definitely be back again!

Fantastic experience: CRAIG & CORY in service were great.. Great communication, honest straight forward quoting. I was changing my tires and brakes.... once the bike arrived Cory called up and told me i didn't need brakes as my pads were still 70%.. not that it was a big expense.. but it's the principle of it.. and... Free Pick up and Drop off of my bike for winter services!!! While most shops are recommending services WAY to early and replacing parts that don't even need to be done. They called me on something i specifically asked for to say I didn't need it . THAT HONESTY IS WHAT MAKES LONG TERM CUSTOMERS !! Thx again Barnes HD KAM.. Every time i come into the store whether it be clothing, parts, or service .. your whole staff it great!

Negative experience: Walked into their store today and not 1 sales person acknowledged our presence. They walked around like we were a couple of homeless people. After 15 min we walked out. I called to speak to the sales manager but she was too busy to take my call. You guys lost a Cash sale today. Off to Kelowna

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the parts and service departments for the speed of install my rear tire on a 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager 1700. The Parts Department while on the phone ( I was in Calgary) was able to find a tire that would fit my bike. The Service Department while only having 2 Techs in and a full schedule of bikes to work on. They got me in as the second bike @0915 this morning. Both departments really did my a large favor to get me back on the road as fast as they did.

Negative experience: Reception transferred me to parts, waited on hold for 11 minutes, called back 3 times, no answer at reception. Called parts, waited on hold for 9 more minutes, left a message for a call back... nobody ever called back. Keep up the good customer service, guys.

Fantastic experience: There we were, cruising towards Hope from Calgary, 65 K out of Kamloops I felt this wobble, which quickly turned into a near death wobble. Blown rear tire. We contacted Barnes Harley in Kamloops and within and hour Devon came out and rescued my bike and myself! Not only did they expedite my repair Conner managed to wash all the road grim from the previous rainy days ride. These folks are amazing! I've never had better customer service in my life. Bravo guys, and thank you.

Fantastic experience: Huge shout out to Devan as well as Conner for bending over backwards to get my buddy back on the road after he blew his rear tire. Devan even drove 65 kms out of town to where we were stranded and hauled the bike back in a trailer. They then did a very expedient tire swap and washed the bike. These guys set the bar at a whole new level in regards to customer service.

Fantastic experience: I was on the road and they got me in and out very quickly when I needed a new tire. They even cleaned my bike!

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good about the service department at Barnes Kamloops HD. While travelling from out of province this past weekend and with very short notice, Devin got my bike in on Saturday afternoon for an emergency rear tire replacement. I was checked in an back on the road in 2.5 hours with rear tire replaced and bike fully washed. Unreal customer service by this service department! They all need to be commended!

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. I bought my 2019 Ultra Limited new and have not had one season without having to get something fixed and fixed again. I had to take my back in THREE times to get my hand warmers and lights fixed. Now I'm having to get my stereo/bluetooth system fixed, again, for the THIRD time, however I will be taking my bike to Kelowna's service department from now on.

Fantastic experience: Purchasing my 2023 FXST at BHD Kamloops was an awesome experience! Made the quick drive from Langley to Kamloops and arrived to have my bike ready and waiting for me. Danielle in the business office was professional and prepared, Mackenzie in Motorclothes was personable and helpful and the GM Mike even said hello! I will definitely be returning soon to start my build with the parts team here. This is a smaller dealership but they have access to any Harley you can dream of. If you are looking for a seamless and personalized experience, buy from BHD Kamloops!

Negative experience: Was looking to sell my HD. Saw that they'll buy bikes. Went onto their site and filled out the questionnaire to see what they'd offer. Waited a few weeks, no response. Tried again...and same, no response. If their level of customer service is to ignore people online, who knows how they'll treat you, or your bike, in person.

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed right from my first interaction by phone with Barnes Harley-Davidson Kamloops. My Sales Representative, Mark Olsen, was absolutely fantastic to work with. I was wanting to add on additional accessories and as they were installed at the dealership Mark sent me updated photos of my new 2022 Street Glide Special several times. Darian Shaw in the Parts Department explained in detail all parts and add ons I was interested in and gave amazing prices and service. Danielle and Corry were also so easy to work with and kept me informed about every single detail to ensure everything went smoothly. I have purchased new Harley Davidson's from 3 different dealerships over the years, and although I live in Kelowna, Barnes Harley-Davidson Kamloops made it worth my while to deal with them. The Customer Service I experienced and the delivery of my new bike was simply the BEST. I will certainly recommend this dealership to all my family and friends. Fantastic experience: Was riding from Vancouver to Edmonton with a planned stop in Kamloops and as I got into Kamloops realized my clutch was misbehaving. Brought it in unscheduled at 9AM the next morning, they fixed the clutch issue, fixed a battery issue that I didn't even know about, did a test drive and got me back on the road to Edmonton before 1PM - and the total charge was just 1 hour of labor. The staff were all very friendly while I sat in the lounge area. I was super impressed by this dealership and would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely stop in the next time I am riding this way!

Negative experience: I have purchased 4 new Harleys from Barnes over the years and have been served well until recently when I had a problem with the opening/locking mechanism for the saddlebags of my 2021 Heritage Softail. While I live about 250km from kamloops Harley I was just passing by and asked the service writer for help with what could be wrong, and fixes. Was told no time available and to make an appointment. When I pushed the service writer looked at problem and said there was nothing wrong. I was left to deal on my own with a cheap under designed and poorly made saddlebad locking system. I disassembled it and put in a new slightly smaller O ring on each side and it now works perfectly. No more sticking when i push to open by giving not quite as tight a fit. There could be some water intrusion as a result, but first requirement is a securely latched bag. If there is water intrusion will throw something over contents that will absorb a drip - maybe old wash cloth or similar. Used the following O ring for those looking for a fix -  3/4" ID x 15/16"OD x 3/32" WALL

Positive experience: The work that I scheduled was to be done June 9, I arranged to drop it off June 7 do to possibly rain showers that day. Surprisingly to me Craig at the service desk texted me at 4:30 the same day to inform that my bike was ready for pickup. In my opinion they went way beyond my expectations for service. Great front end service staff.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. From the staff, sales team, finance team. Everyone in this dealership is nothing but nice. Very family oriented. We came from 13hrs away and had the team check out my bike . Realized my tire was alot lower on tread then I originally thought. The team here had a tire in stock. Not only giving me a discount on the tire they also threw it on my bike with only an hour left until closing time. They helped us out so much. I am so glad I found a dealership that isn't just out to get your money. They truly care about their riders wellbeing and I belive will do anything to help you stay safe on the road. Fantastic experience: My wife and I bought new 2022 Street Bobs. Our salesperson Dave was fantastic and really showed his bike knowledge. There was a bit of a wait for bikes to come in which we were told about from day one. Dave stayed in constant contact with us through the wait. Purchase day we had to bring our 3 year old with us. The entire staff was awesome with going through the whole sales experience and also helping keeping our daughter entertained. I was very impressed to say the least. Al in parts also helped with some aftermarket parts which obviously had to be done. There will be more bike purchases with Barnes Kamloops for me.

Fantastic experience: I'm from Manitoba and ride an Indian Vintage with spoke wheels. I had a flat tire out in the middle of nowhere. I had my bike towed to Barnes Harley Davidson in Kamloops. This dealership is second to none. Barnes is an honest dealership that strives to please a one time customer or their repeat customers. I arrived less than an hour before they closed for the long weekend. I unloaded the bike and regardless of the time the service team got the bike in the shop removed the wheel and tire, replaced the tube and balanced it, and rolled it out just slightly after closing. The service team bent over backwards to get me back on the road before days end and they succeeded. I was surprised when I went to pay the invoice. I had expected that being out of province and very late in the day that the invoice would be much more than it was. The invoice was very reasonable what they would have charged any customer and that attests to the honesty of this dealership. I want to thank the service team at Barnes for your concern and unprecedented service on an off brand bike no less. Thanks again service team. I recommend this dealership to anyone traveling through Kamloops. Anyone in the area looking at bikes I highly recommend you visit Barnes Harley Davidson. I will be stopping at Barnes anytime I ride through Kamloops.

Positive experience: Went in to buy some parts for my mom's HD, they had to order them. They thought we had missed the order cutoff for Friday but apparently we were just before which is amazing as the parts will arrive from Langley on Tuesday.

Negative experience: Eff this place. Make sure you know what you want if you go. Don't come here if your new to bikes. They steer you into whatever they have. I figured they would help me get into a bike that suited me. I like a bobber. However I didn't know I was way to big for a sportster iron. Cant even ride the bike after being told I am riding a chick bike a few hundred times. I told them I had a credit check done and they did another. Dropped my credit rating hard having two in row.
